Chapter 1239

Steve knew that the Su family was currently the family with the strongest comprehensive strength in China, so he himself wanted to make friends with him very much.

Now, learning that his purpose for coming to Jin Ling was almost the same as his own, and that he invited him to go to the hotel with him, this was definitely a great opportunity to establish a connection with the Su family and at the same time increase the probability of finding his son.

It was definitely killing two birds with one stone!

Therefore, he said very gratefully, "Mr. Su, to tell you the truth, ever since my son and his subordinates disappeared, I haven't had a single usable person in Jin Ling, so no one arranged for a pickup. If I could go to the hotel with your motorcade, I would really be very grateful!"

Su Shoude smiled slightly, "Mr. Steve is too polite. Our Su family also had some origins with the Rothschild family back then. Although there were some unpleasantries, we finally reached a cooperation, which can be considered as having some friendship!"

Steve nodded lightly and said, flattered, "If there is a chance in the future, I hope we can also have substantial cooperation with the Su family, including the Rothschild family side. I can also let my mother move around more to see if we can promote new cooperation."

Su Shoude gave a hum, his mood very pleasant.

Although he didn't take Steve seriously, he was very interested in making friends with the Rothschild family.

He couldn't help but think to himself, "After all, the Rothschild family is the family with the strongest comprehensive strength in this world. Its true influence is more than ten times stronger than the Su family. If I can really get connected with the Rothschild family in the future, I dare not say what benefits it will have for the entire Su family, but for myself, it will definitely be of great help, at least it can make me stand more firmly in the Su family!"

Thinking of this, he couldn't help but smile and say to Steve, "Come, come, Steve, sit in my car and let's go to the hotel together. Also, I'll host dinner tonight. Let's have a meal together, and by the way, exchange clues. For the matter of finding people next, we can also cooperate with each other."

Steve said excitedly immediately, "That's great, Mr. Su. I have absolutely no problem here!"

Su Shoude invited Steve to sit in his car. As for the others Steve brought, they didn't have such good treatment; they could only take a car to the hotel themselves.

Steve and Su Shoude sat in the back seat of one of the Presidential No. 1s together. During the process of the motorcade driving out of the airport, Steve roughly introduced some of the situations of his son Walter to Su Shoude.

However, Steve didn't know Walter's intentions toward Wang Dongxue, nor did he know the dirty deeds he committed against Wang Dongxue's father. So, in his view, his son was just down-to-earth developing business in Jin Ling, and he didn't expect that he would suddenly evaporate into thin air one day.

After listening to his introduction, Su Shoude was even more confused and said in a low voice, "If it were just your son who disappeared, it would be easy to say, but for so many people to disappear at once, it is a bit too unbelievable..."

"Yes!" Steve sighed and said, "I suspected at first that he was kidnapped, but I know that no information about any kidnappers demanding a ransom has been received yet."

As he spoke, Steve added, "I also had people check all my son's bank records. Since he disappeared, all his bank accounts haven't spent even a single cent. If the other party was really after money, it's impossible that they wouldn't think of a way to ask for money until now..."

"Right." Su Shoude frowned and said, "To make more than a dozen people disappear at once, and also be able to erase all surveillance records, the power behind it must be very simple..."

Speaking of this, he couldn't help but calculate in his heart, "Du Haiqing and Su Zhiyu disappeared in the tunnel, and even the Old Master's personal bodyguard Ma Chongxin disappeared. The person who could do this must also be extremely simple. Jin Ling itself is a second-tier small city. Even if there are really big figures hiding in it, it's impossible to have more than two powerful forces entrenched here... Maybe, the same group of people made Steve's son disappear and took away Du Haiqing and Su Zhiyu."

Therefore, Su Shoude hurriedly asked Steve, "Has your son offended anyone during his time in Jin Ling?"

"This..." Steve shook his head and said, "My son had never been to Jin Ling before, and hadn't even been to China. He was sent to Jin Ling by the family this time to be responsible for expanding family business, and the time he came was also very short, so I think he shouldn't have any enemies in this place."

Su Shoude asked him, "Is your son married?"

Steve said truthfully, "He is married and has two children."

Su Shoude continued to ask, "Is his private life clean?"

Steve said earnestly, "I have never heard of him having any improper relationship with any woman."

Su Shoude asked again, "Is he a drug addict?"

"No! Absolutely not!" Steve said hurriedly, "Our family absolutely does not allow any drug addicts to appear. All adult males must accept urine tests at regular intervals. Once it is found that he is a drug addict, his duties in the family will be interrupted and all funds will be recovered. Walter would absolutely not touch this red line of the family!"

Su Shoude stretched out four fingers and said, "Most criminal cases in the world cannot escape four possibilities. The first is for money, the second is drug addiction, the third is for love, and the fourth is for hatred."

"If the other party kidnapped your son and doesn't want money, this rules out the possibility of being after money."

"If your son accepts urine tests regularly and is indeed not a drug addict, then this aspect can also be ruled out."

"As for the emotional aspect, although you say your son's private life is clean, you can know a person's face but not their heart. What's more, you are his father. To say something unpleasant, how many women your son has slept with, his good friends might know better than you. So, I think the possibility of emotional reasons still exists."

"And revenge for hatred. Even if your son just came to Jin Ling not long ago, it doesn't mean he wouldn't offend people. Maybe he really offended some big figures with great means in Jin Ling."

Speaking of this, Su Shoude smacked his lips and said, "I think the possibilities of love and hatred are half and half. You can start investigating from these two aspects and see if you can find any breakthrough!"

Steve nodded lightly, "Thank you, Mr. Su, for the reminder. I will actively search for relevant clues to see if I can find any breakthrough!"

The reason Su Shoude gave Steve so much analysis was that he hoped Steve could find clues about his son's disappearance through these aspects.

He himself now suspected that his son's disappearance and the disappearance of Du Haiqing and Su Zhiyu were done by the same people. He had no way to find clues. If Steve could, it could be considered a roundabout way to save the country.

Just at this moment, Steve suddenly said, "By the way! My son seemed to have a college classmate with a good relationship in Jin Ling, and it seemed to be a woman!"

Su Shoude said excitedly, "This is a very valuable clue! If this woman has something to do with your son's disappearance, then find a way to find a breakthrough from her first!"
