Chapter 1366: Choose a package

Ye Chen had just returned from Hamid's place, so he was very clear about Hamid's current situation.

Hamid was definitely very short of money.

His army of two thousand people, without exception, were all people who only knew how to spend money and didn't know how to earn it.

Those few helicopters, and those armored vehicles, were money-burning machines once they started moving.

So many people, so much equipment, feeding people and horses—this was all money.

Moreover, the spheres of influence of these opposition forces were generally in those poor, remote areas, in the endless mountain nests, where they couldn't find any way to make money, so they could only rely on conquering cities and seizing land, or funding from overseas capital.

Actually, Ye Chen had quite a bit of spare money in his hands. Taking out a few tens of millions or even hundreds of millions of US dollars to fund Hamid wouldn't be a big deal.

If this big brother were to win the revolution and become a marquis or prime minister in the future, maybe his small investment could bring him a huge return.

However, Ye Chen had an extra thought.

A business like Hamid's belonged to the internal affairs of another country. Generally speaking, normal countries wouldn't interfere, let alone individuals.

If he were to directly fund Hamid, the flow of funds would be traceable. If someone were to make a big deal out of this in the future, saying he was interfering in another country's internal affairs, that would be more or less a trouble.

It just so happened that Su Shoudao had delivered himself to his door, so Ye Chen planned to just use him to do Hamid a favor.

Sending Su Shoudao over, letting Hamid find a job for Su Shoudao, watching him closely 24 hours a day, making him stay honestly in Syria, and by the way, letting Su Shoudao bring Hamid a few tens of millions of US dollars—Hamid would definitely owe him a favor, and it would be considered his investment in his revolutionary cause.

As for whether the Su family would get into trouble in the future because of financial dealings with Hamid, that wasn't something he needed to worry about.

Therefore, he immediately said to Su Shoudao, "I'll give you two hours to prepare. Prepare at least 50 million US dollars. I'll arrange a plane to send you to Syria. Before you arrive in Syria, this 50 million dollars must be transferred to my friend's account. Otherwise, when you arrive in Syria, I'll have them tie you to an armored vehicle 24 hours a day."

The expressions of the two Su family girls were very awkward.

Ye Chen seemed completely unconcerned about whether they would be angry or dissatisfied after hearing these insults to Su Shoudao.

After hearing this, Su Shoudao broke out in a cold sweat and blurted out, "Mr. Ye, I can give the money, but can you not let me go to the front line..."

Ye Chen nodded and said, "How about this: I'll introduce you to the specific price tiers and service details of this Syrian vacation package."

Su Shoudao was completely dumbfounded.

"How come there are package tiers? What on earth is this Ye Chen up to?"

Just as he was depressed and confused, Ye Chen began to introduce: "First of all, the basic package fee for our Syrian vacation package is 50 million US dollars, as I just said."

"However, with this 50 million US dollars, you can only enjoy the most ordinary meals and accommodation when you get there. I estimate that most of the time you'll be eating flour-based food. If it's good, you might get to eat meat once every two or three days. As for accommodation, it's generally mud houses, but this lowest package doesn't include indoor accommodation, so you'll only be able to sleep in a cow shed when you get there."

Su Shoudao felt like dying.

"This black-hearted Ye Chen! 50 million US dollars, and I don't even get to eat meat every day?"

"That's fine! The key is that I can't even live in a mud house? I can only sleep in a cow shed? Is this even letting a person live?"

Ye Chen continued at this time, "If you add an extra 10 million US dollars and choose the 60 million US dollar package, then you can upgrade your meals to have meat every day. As for accommodation, you can upgrade to a windowless cellar room."

Su Shoudao's eyeballs were about to fall out.

He cursed with extreme indignation in his heart: "This beast, his heart is truly black! 60 million US dollars, one meal of meat a day, and living in a cellar without windows?! Is this even letting a person live?"

Thinking of this, he choked with sobs, "Mr. Ye, this service is too poor. Can you give me a better package?"

Ye Chen said helplessly, "Aren't you only able to come up with a few tens of millions of US dollars? With so little money, you can only enjoy this service tier."

Su Shoudao hurriedly waved his hands and said, "Mr. Ye, as long as the treatment can be a little better, money is not a problem!"

Su Shoudao now understood.

"In the past, I didn't dare to move large Su family accounts at will. I had to have the old master's nod and approval. But that was because the old master would regularly have the finance department audit the accounts. Misappropriating public funds from the Su family not only couldn't be hidden, but would also cause trouble."

"However, Ye Chen's matter of sending me to Syria this time is definitely a done deal. This guy absolutely won't have any room for negotiation."

"Since I have to go, then after I go, Zhiyu will definitely have to find a way to inherit the Su family."

"If Zhiyu can't inherit the Su family, then I definitely won't be able to come back. If I can't come back, am I still afraid of the old master finding trouble with me?"

"But if Zhiyu inherits the Su family, then after I come back, I'll be even less afraid of the old master finding trouble with me, because he'll be in Ye Chen's hands by then!"

"In other words, even if he isn't in Ye Chen's hands, my daughter will be the Su family head. Will it be the old master's turn to find trouble with me?!"

Thinking of this, he hurriedly said to Ye Chen, "Mr. Ye, just tell me what the highest package is and how much it costs. I'll figure out the money. Anyway, I won't be able to come back for a while, so I'm not afraid of the old master finding out and settling scores with me later..."

Ye Chen smiled, "If you had said so earlier, I would have introduced you to our luxury package."

Having said that, he immediately introduced: "The cost of the luxury package is 100 million US dollars. You get wine and meat at every meal, and you get a separate small courtyard with an independent dry toilet, which ensures your privacy won't be disturbed. It's absolutely the highest specification of service locally. How about it, Mr. Su, do you want to take a set?"

Su Shoudao thought about being able to eat his fill, have meat, and live in a small courtyard by himself. It sounded much better than the cow shed and cellar he had just mentioned, so he could only grit his teeth and say, "Okay! Let's go with this one!"

Ye Chen smiled slightly and said, "Then wait a moment, I'll make a phone call to my friend."

After saying this, he made a phone call to Hamid.

Hamid received Ye Chen's call and asked with some joy, "Brother Ye, you should have returned to China by now, right?"

Ye Chen smiled, "Returned, returned."

Hamid sighed with some regret: "Sigh! It's a huge pity that I couldn't deepen our friendship more when you came this time! Brother hasn't had a chance to thank you properly yet!"

Ye Chen smiled and said, "It was just a small effort, no need to be so polite."

Hamid hurriedly asked, "When will Brother have time to come over again?"

Ye Chen thought to himself, who would want to go to that godforsaken place.

But he still said politely, "Don't worry, Brother, if there's a chance, I'll definitely go."

Having said that, Ye Chen added, "By the way, Brother, I'm calling because I have something I'd like to ask of you."

Hamid said without hesitation, "Brother, just tell me if you have any requests!"

Ye Chen smiled, "It's like this: I want to send a friend over to you to experience life. After he goes, I'll have to trouble you, Brother, to arrange for people to watch him strictly. In short, don't let him escape."

Hamid was also a smart person and almost immediately understood Ye Chen's meaning. He hurriedly said, "No problem! I have soldiers with live ammunition everywhere here. Even a fly won't be able to fly away! Just send him over!"

"That's great." Ye Chen smiled, "I'm very embarrassed to trouble you so much. Give me an account number later, and I'll arrange for someone to wire you some money!"
