Chapter 1958

Hearing Li Xiaofen's words, Ye Chen couldn't help but feel a bit ashamed.

Auntie Li and Li Xiaofen had been in Canada for so long, and he had never gone to see them, and he didn't even know their recent living conditions in Canada.

Thinking of this, he hurriedly said: "Xiaofen, I happen to be accompanying your sister-in-law to the United States for study in a few days, so I'll be closer to you then. After she finishes her study, I'll bring her to see you and Auntie Li together!"

"Really?!" Li Xiaofen said with surprise: "Brother Ye Chen, are you and Sister Churan coming to the United States? Where in the United States? If the time is convenient, I can also go to see you!"

Ye Chen said: "I'm going to Providence, on the East Coast. It should be quite far from Vancouver."

Li Xiaofen said somewhat melancholically: "That is very far... It's at least three thousand, nearly four thousand kilometers from me to the US East Coast."

Ye Chen smiled: "It doesn't matter. Three thousand kilometers is only four or five hours by plane. But don't go through the trouble; you still have to look after the shop, and you must be very busy. I'll go with your sister-in-law to see you then."

Li Xiaofen hurriedly said: "Alright, Brother Ye Chen, then it's a deal. When Auntie Li comes back, I'll tell her this good news. She will certainly be very happy. You must not stand us up!"

Ye Chen said: "Don't worry, I will definitely go to see you then. I'll contact you before I go."

"Great, then I'll wait for your news!"

After making the appointment with Li Xiaofen, Ye Chen hung up the phone.

At this time, Song Wanting's secretary called her office landline and said: "President Song, a gentleman named Huo Yuanzheng wants to see you, saying he has a big business to discuss with you."

"Huo Yuanzheng?" Song Wanting was stunned for a moment, then looked at Ye Chen and said: "Master Ye, it's that number 099. I didn't expect him to find me here."

Ye Chen nodded and said: "He must have come for the Rejuvenation Pill."

Song Wanting hurriedly said: "Then I'll have someone send him away."

Ye Chen pondered for a moment, then shook his head and said: "Forget it. He also traveled thousands of miles from North America, so let's not appear too heartless."

Saying this, Ye Chen added: "How about this: in a while, have someone bring him in. If he wants the Rejuvenation Pill, tell him that you are only helping the owner of the Rejuvenation Pill sell it, and apart from that, you cannot make any decisions regarding the actual sale of the Rejuvenation Pill. By the way, tell him that it was I who ordered him to be driven away yesterday, and the Rejuvenation Pill is not in your hands either, so you are also powerless. If anyone in his family really wants the Rejuvenation Pill, let the person who needs it sign up and participate in the Rejuvenation Pill auction next year personally."

Song Wanting asked again: "Master Ye, are you not planning to leave him any chance at all?"

Ye Chen said seriously: "Not for the time being, so let him give up and go back to where he came from as soon as possible."

"I understand, Master Ye." Song Wanting nodded and asked again: "Master Ye, are you going to see him together?"

Ye Chen shook his head and smiled: "I won't see him. To tell you the truth, his real name isn't Huo Yuanzheng, but An Chongqiu, and he is my eldest uncle. However, in his cognition, I might still be missing or dead, so I'm not planning to see him yet."

Song Wanting was speechless by Ye Chen's words, and only after a long time did she exclaim: "Master Ye, he... he is really your eldest uncle?!"

"Yes." Ye Chen nodded: "My mother's own brother."

Song Wanting was even more dumbfounded and blurted out: "Then... then you still had me expel him yesterday..."

Ye Chen said indifferently: "At that time, I didn't know his real identity either. And even if I did, in that situation, he had to be expelled."

After a pause, Ye Chen added: "I held this auction not to open a back door for my own relatives, but to let these top tycoons, regardless of their status or background, honestly bid for the Rejuvenation Pill according to my rules. I absolutely cannot allow them to use money to override my rules. Once I open this gap, the nature of the whole thing will change."

Song Wanting nodded gently and said: "I understand, Master Ye. Since that's the case, I'll have the secretary invite him to the reception room. I'll go to the reception room to see him, and you wait here for a moment."

Ye Chen stood up and said: "I'd better wait in the reception room. You are the chairman of the Song Group. If he comes to see you but you don't see him in your own office, it will only make him think that you have more important guests in your office. And since the auction just ended yesterday, he will certainly think in that direction."
