Chapter 2034: A Mix of Five Flavors

"What did he say?" Chen Zhaozhong repeated, sighed, and said helplessly, "Of course he didn't believe me. He said I must have been cheating on him behind his back, and no matter how I explained, he remained unmoved."

"However, he later said that for the sake of money, he could forgive me this once, let me go back to recover from my injuries, and incidentally give me time to think it through clearly;"

"If I recovered from my injuries and continued to help him make money, he would pretend as if nothing had happened; otherwise, he would take my life."

Speaking of this, Chen Zhaozhong smiled and added, "However, he could never have dreamed that when I decided to tell him all this, I had already left myself a way out. I had pre-arranged for my first love to take her passport and leave the villa in advance, waiting for me at the hospital near the man surnamed Liu's company."

Ye Chen asked in surprise, "You guessed he would beat you into the hospital?"

"Not really." Chen Zhaozhong laughed, "If I had known he would really do that, I would have just eloped with my first love directly; I could have saved myself a beating."

As he spoke, Chen Zhaozhong added, "Actually, at the time, I felt that there were only three possible outcomes for the matter;"

"The first was that the man surnamed Liu, considering that I had helped him make so much money and still had utility value in the future, and plus he had too many women around him and wouldn't care too much about one of them, would fulfill our wish directly;"

"The second was that the man surnamed Liu would be furious after knowing and kill me directly;"

"The third was that although the man surnamed Liu was very angry, considering I still had some utility value, he would give me a lesson, make me give up this thought, and continue to make money for him."

Speaking to this point, Chen Zhaozhong continued, "As for why I let my first love go to the hospital in advance, it was mainly considering that if the situation was the first, naturally everyone would be happy. I could walk to the hospital myself to see her and tell her this good news in person, and because it was close, I could see her even faster;"

"If the situation was the second, then she definitely wouldn't be able to wait for me at the hospital entrance. If she didn't wait for me, it would prove that the man surnamed Liu wouldn't let her off easily either. However, at least she had already escaped the clutches of the devil in advance and could report to the police, letting the police find my whereabouts, while also borrowing the police's hand to protect her own personal safety;"

"If the situation was the third, then she would see me beaten half to death and sent to the hospital. This would also prove that the man surnamed Liu didn't intend to fulfill our wish, so we wouldn't think of anything else, meet up at the hospital immediately, and then find an opportunity to elope."

Hearing this, Ye Chen was already full of admiration for Chen Zhaozhong.

Ordinary people do things one step at a time; smart people do things looking three steps ahead; the supremely intelligent do things by setting ten steps for every one they take.

Chen Zhaozhong didn't know what the result of this matter would be in advance, but he had made the most meticulous arrangements under such circumstances.

Moreover, one could also see his love for his first love in this. Among these three possibilities, he had one possibility of dying and one of being injured, but the three possibilities he left for his first love were all flexible, basically without any danger of being hurt.

From this, it could be seen that this person's way of thinking was indeed far stronger than the average person, and also quite a bit stronger than his own.

At the very least, if the same thing were placed on himself, he definitely wouldn't be able to be as meticulous and comprehensive as him.

At this time, Chen Zhaozhong had a somewhat childlike smile on his face and said, "At that time, I was covered in injuries when I was sent to the hospital. Who could have thought that half an hour later, I would quietly run out of the hospital and elope with my first love."

As he spoke, Chen Zhaozhong added, "My plan at the time was to take a plane to Southeast Asia first, and then find an opportunity to smuggle myself into the United States from Southeast Asia. But I didn't expect that the man surnamed Liu would return to the villa, not see my first love, and after discovering that my first love had taken her passport, he immediately issued a bounty for my life, offering a reward of 30 million Hong Kong dollars for my head..."

"At that time, we had just arrived at the airport and hadn't even gotten out of the taxi when we saw many gangsters looking around outside the airport. I saw that things weren't right and could only abandon the original plan." ===== CHAPTER 2035 =====
