Chapter 2058

In Fei Shanhai's view, it didn't matter if one was misunderstood; as long as the misunderstanding could be cleared up thoroughly and quickly, one could often get even better results.

If you don't believe it, look at love movies in various countries; male and female leads who have prejudices against each other at the beginning can often love each other passionately after breaking those prejudices.

Human nature is just like this.

Therefore, Fei Shanhai felt that this was actually a good opportunity for crisis public relations.

As long as he seized this wave of opportunity and established a great father persona for Fei Xuebin, not only could Fei Xuebin turn the tables, but it could also bring better mass support to the Fei family.

At this time, his younger brother Fei Shanchuan said, "Big Brother, having reporters come directly to the house is a bit deliberate. Even if the kidnappers aren't provoked, the public will think we are deliberately selling misery."

Fei Shanhai asked back, "Then what do you think should be done?"

Fei Shanchuan hurriedly offered a plan, "Big Brother, in my opinion, why don't we do what that video did? First, release the news that Haoyang was kidnapped and Xuebin is trying to save him through a third party, and then push the waves and help the waves in secret to let this news ferment. When the time comes, the media will definitely take the initiative to find us, and then we can go with the flow and accept interviews, thoroughly exposing the truth of this matter to the public."

Fei Shanhai nodded repeatedly, "Good idea! This way, it appears more natural!"

Fei Xuebin heard this and hurriedly said, "Dad! There were quite a few people watching at the scene, and several of them took out their phones to record videos. They must have recorded the whole process, especially the process of me pouring Haoyang's ears out of that box. If we put that video on the internet, this matter will be settled!"

Fei Shanhai immediately said, "Order it down, offer a reward of 100,000 US dollars to find the video recorder, and then post these videos on the internet!"

"Good!" Fei Xuebin hurriedly said, "I'll go arrange it now!"

After saying that, he remembered something and hurriedly asked, "Dad, I've already had people take that woman into control; should we interrogate her?"

"Let her go, it's meaningless." Fei Shanhai waved his hand, "That woman is clearly just a pawn; you couldn't ask anything out of her even if you beat her to death."

Fei Xuebin nodded, "Okay Dad, I'll go give the order."

Just as Fei Xuebin was preparing to follow Fei Shanhai's instructions to find the passersby who had recorded the video at the scene, his phone suddenly received a text message from an unknown number.

The content of the text message was: "If you want your son to live, prepare 200 billion US dollars in encrypted digital currency within the next 48 hours, otherwise, wait to collect your son's corpse!"

Fei Xuebin's heart skipped a beat, and he blurted out, "Dad... these people say... they want 200 billion US dollars before they'll release him..."

"How much?!" Fei Shanhai's brows twisted, and he asked coldly, "200 billion?! Are these people insane?! What kind of fucking kidnappers dare to ask for 200 billion US dollars?!"

Fei Xuebin was also terrified to the extreme. What was the concept of 200 billion US dollars? According to the current stock price, it could buy two JD. com groups!

Fei Shanchuan on the side was also stunned and couldn't help but mutter, "This is fucking not sincere at all... If they had asked for less, say 1 billion or 2 billion US dollars, it would count as them having some brains. Asking for 200 billion right off the bat, this fucking makes it impossible to even know how to bargain..."

Fei Shanhai said coldly, "Tell them that as long as they release Haoyang, I am willing to pay them 20 billion US dollars in cryptocurrency!"

Fei Xuebin immediately called the other party back, but the result was no exception: this phone number was also turned off.

Fei Shanhai said coldly, "These bastards don't even give a chance to bargain! Do they really think that by kidnapping someone from the Fei family, they can blackmail 200 billion US dollars?!"

Fei Xuebin asked him, "Dad... what should we do now... the other party only gave us 48 hours..."
