Chapter 2142: You are too stingy!

Seeing Uncle Zhong wink at him, although Ye Chen didn't know the specific situation, he understood what he meant and knew that the woman who had her phone snatched must be a fraud.

However, Ye Chen didn't leave immediately but walked into Uncle Zhong's roast goose restaurant swaggeringly behind the woman.

After entering, Ye Chen deliberately found a corner with his back to the door and sat down, then greeted Uncle Zhong, "Trouble, one roast goose rice."

Chen Zhaozhong originally didn't want Ye Chen to come in now, but seeing that he was sitting in a relatively hidden position, he didn't say much and agreed, "Alright, please wait a moment. I have to help this young lady call the police first."

After saying that, Chen Zhaozhong took out his mobile phone, entered the numbers 911, and then looked at the girl and asked, "Young lady, will you tell the police yourself, or should I help you?"

The girl looked at Chen Zhaozhong gratefully and said, "Just lend me your phone; I'll tell the police myself."

"Okay." Chen Zhaozhong handed his phone directly to her. After the other party took it, she dialed the 911 police call.

On the phone, the girl told the dispatcher that her phone had been snatched, then informed them of the address. After the other party finished registering, she hung up the phone and handed the phone back to Chen Zhaozhong, thanking him, "Thank you, Boss. I've already called the police; the police will be here in a while."

"You're welcome." Chen Zhaozhong smiled slightly, put away his phone, and said, "Do you want to eat something? This meal is on me."

The girl hurriedly said, "No need, no need. I just finished eating. Thank you, Boss."

"You're welcome." Chen Zhaozhong nodded and said to the waiter, "Pour a glass of water for this lady."

The waiter didn't say a word, immediately poured a glass of lemon water, and handed it to the girl.

The girl said gratefully, "Boss, thank you so much."

Chen Zhaozhong smiled slightly, "It doesn't matter. We are all Chinese; we should help each other."

As he spoke, Chen Zhaozhong said, "You sit for a while; I'll go prepare food for the guest."

The girl said repeatedly, "You go ahead; don't worry about me!"

About ten minutes later, a police car stopped at the door, and two New York police officers walked into the store and asked, "Who called 911 just now?"

The girl hurriedly raised her hand and said, "It was me."

One of the police officers looked at the girl and asked, "The headquarters told us that your phone was snatched. What exactly happened?"

The girl introduced, "About 10 minutes ago, I was talking to a friend at the door of this restaurant, and suddenly a man came and snatched my phone directly."

The police officer nodded and asked, "Was the other party alone?"

The girl said, "There was only one person when he snatched my phone, but he quickly got into a car and left."

The police officer asked again, "Did you see clearly what the person who snatched your phone looked like? About what race, how tall? Was he fat or thin?"

The girl thought about it and said, "His speed was too fast, and I didn't react in time, so I didn't see his face clearly. However, I can be sure that the person was Asian, of medium height, thin, and his movements were very agile."

The police officer said helplessly, "An Asian of medium height and thin build is everywhere in Chinatown. If there are no detailed appearance features, it is relatively difficult to catch the person."

As he spoke, the other party explained, "Actually, you also know that snatching mobile phones, laptops, and ladies' handbags on the street happens at least a thousand times a day on the streets of New York, and it is very difficult to catch the vast majority of the perpetrators."

Another police officer looked around the store and pointed to one of the surveillance cameras facing the door, saying, "Since the incident happened at the door of the store, this surveillance camera must be able to capture it, right? If we can get the image data of the criminal suspect, catching the person will be relatively easy."

After saying that, he looked at Chen Zhaozhong and said seriously, "Boss, we need to take the hard drive from your hard drive recorder back to retrieve the surveillance footage and assist in the investigation of the case." ===== CHAPTER 2143 =====
