Chapter 2231

Ye Chen followed Liu Manqiong and took the elevator to the third floor of the villa.

Liu Manqiong brought Ye Chen to the position between two doors, pointed to the room on the right, and said to Ye Chen: "Mr. Ye, this is the guest room where you'll be resting. Inside is a suite with a usable area of about 80 square meters, with a living room, bedroom, and independent bathroom."

Saying this, she opened the door and led Ye Chen inside.

Entering the door, one sees the living room of this suite, which is about thirty square meters, very luxuriously decorated, and has all the furniture and appliances.

Liu Manqiong said to Ye Chen: "Mr. Ye, just treat this place as a hotel. If you have any needs, call the butler directly, and he will arrange for someone to serve you immediately. Besides, I live across from you. If you have anything, you can also come to find me."

Ye Chen thanked her: "Okay, Miss Manqiong, I know. Thank you."

Liu Manqiong nodded and said with a bit of shyness: "Mr. Ye, it's getting late. If there's nothing else, I won't disturb your rest."

Ye Chen smiled slightly: "Okay, Miss Manqiong, you should rest early too."

Liu Manqiong hurriedly said: "Oh, by the way, Mr. Ye, it's better not to call me Miss Manqiong. Just call me Manqiong directly."

"Okay." Ye Chen didn't stand on ceremony either, and said: "Then let's call each other by our names from now on, and stop calling each other Mr. and Miss."

Liu Manqiong's cheeks flushed slightly, and she whispered: "Mr. Ye can call me Manqiong directly, but according to our habits, we still like to address men as Mr."

Saying this, she asked Ye Chen again: "Mr. Ye, I wonder which communication software you usually use? Is it WeChat or WhatsApp?"

Ye Chen said: "I use WeChat, but it seems you use WhatsApp more here?"

"Yes." Liu Manqiong said: "Most people use WhatsApp, but some people use both. After all, everyone has many friends in the mainland."

Saying this, Liu Manqiong took out her phone, opened her WeChat, and said to Ye Chen: "Mr. Ye, if it's convenient, let's add each other as WeChat friends."

"Okay." Ye Chen also took out his phone and added Liu Manqiong as a WeChat friend.

Seeing Ye Chen accept her friend request, Liu Manqiong felt a burst of joy in her heart and said: "Mr. Ye, then I'll go back to my room first. If you have anything, you can also tell me on WeChat."

"No problem."

Liu Manqiong waved her hand with a smile: "Then good night, Mr. Ye."

After saying good night to each other, Liu Manqiong returned to her boudoir. The moment she closed the door, she leaned against it, covered her chest with both hands, and the two blushes on her face were much deeper than before.

After her mood calmed down a little, she immediately opened her phone and entered Ye Chen's Moments, wanting to see more information about him from his Moments.

But unfortunately, Ye Chen himself was not someone who liked to post on Moments.

His Moments were set to be visible for half a year, but he hadn't posted a single post in the last half year.

Liu Manqiong found that Ye Chen's Moments were empty, and couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed in her heart.

But Liu Manqiong thought again, not liking to post on Moments also fit the personality of someone like Ye Chen. He was very low-key himself, so naturally, he couldn't be the kind of person who often posted on Moments to show himself off.

That night, Liu Manqiong lay on the bed tossing and turning, almost unable to sleep.

This was the first time in her life she had been unable to sleep because of a man.

Early the next morning, Liu Manqiong climbed out of bed. She thought Ye Chen must still be resting in his room, but when she came downstairs, she found that Ye Chen had already eaten breakfast and was ready to go out.

She asked Ye Chen with some surprise: "Mr. Ye, what are you doing going out so early?"

Ye Chen laughed: "I want to go out for a walk, just wander around, and also happen to see how many mansions there are on Shixun Road."

Liu Manqiong asked in surprise: "Mr. Ye, you wouldn't be thinking of buying a house on Shixun Road, would you?"

Ye Chen laughed casually: "Yes, and no. Even if I buy, it's not me who's buying."

Liu Manqiong didn't quite understand what Ye Chen meant, but it sounded like Ye Chen was very interested in Shixun Road, so she was happy in her heart and hurriedly said: "If Mr. Ye is interested in the houses here, I can introduce them to you. The Huo Mansion next to us is for sale. It's the property of the Huo family in Hong Kong."

Ye Chen laughed: "Then I'll go out for a stroll and take a look."
