Chapter 3428

When Gu Qiuyi was still immersed in the happiness of kissing Ye Chen, the news of Tawana's passionate kiss with the backup dancer had already topped entertainment hot searches worldwide.

For a moment, the whole world was in an uproar.

Everyone knew Tawana was fiery, but no one had seen her so unrestrained.

Moreover, she still had a boyfriend.

Many fans, after watching the live video, were puzzled by one question: Was Tawana just too into the role?

If she was too into the role, then her proactive kiss could still be understood, after all, the song itself is about lovers reuniting after a life-and-death separation.

If she wasn't too into the role, then this kind of stage performance is really too unrestrained, even Western fans find it hard to bear.

Tawana's agent couldn't wait for her to finish the performance to discuss it with her, so he immediately made preparations, communicated with all cooperating media, and immediately issued a press release, blaming Tawana's behavior on stage entirely on the song, saying she was indeed immersed in the story presented by this Chinese song and couldn't extricate herself, so she got so into the role.

To prevent foreign netizens from not understanding what this song is actually singing about, she specially found a writer proficient in Chinese to write a soft article for this song.

In the soft article, it sentence-by-sentence translates and analyzes the story background of the song "Assassin", and even goes so far as to popularize the historical story of "Jing Ke's Assassination Attempt on the Qin King" for foreign netizens.

The song "Assassin" itself is a secondary creation based on the story of Jing Ke's assassination attempt on the prince, originally Jing Ke's assassination attempt on Qin had nothing to do with women, so it couldn't be made into a love song, thus the lyricist fabricated a story of an assassin, adding a love story and a perfect ending to it.

The soft article also says that the story of Jing Ke's assassination attempt on the prince has been circulating in China for over two thousand years, conforming to the chivalrous spirit advocated by China, and its depth and height are absolutely incomparable to ordinary historical stories.

After foreign fans learned the specific background and original intention of this song, they then accepted the "too into the role" explanation, and seeing that the online public opinion had a sign of being reversed, the agent immediately seized the moment, outwardly claiming that Tawana's favorite Chinese song is this "Assassin", and her reason for wanting to sing this song together with Gu Qiuyi is also because she really likes this song.

After this series of hype and emergency efforts, the voices of surprise online have weakened considerably.

Moreover, this matter has begun to develop in a direction very beneficial to both Tawana and Gu Qiuyi, those foreign fans have also come to like this Chinese song, the play count of "Assassin" overseas has surged instantly, even directly rushing onto the music playback heat charts worldwide, and after those overseas fans developed a liking for the song, they also developed more liking for Gu Qiuyi.

As for Tawana, there's no need to say more, she is such a big star, yet on stage she can be so invested, simply a role model among singers, instantly making her fans like her even more.

But at this moment, far away in the United States, Trevor had just woken up and was preparing to attend team training, when he suddenly saw a push notification about Tawana's concert online, clicked to view it, and immediately guessed that the masked sword-dancing man must be Ye Chen.

Tawana's passionate kiss with him was certainly not just being too into the role, it was simply her heart full of affection for him!

This made Trevor feel very uncomfortable inside, actually when he first got together with Tawana, he had already endured great pressure.

First of all, Tawana's personal love history is really too chaotic, no matter who dates her, they will endure pressure from media and the public.

Secondly, his own money-making ability is indeed inferior to Tawana's, to some extent he will also be mocked as living off a woman.

But because Tawana has always been deeply infatuated with him, he has compensated for his great pressure through feelings.

But now the situation is different.

Tawana is clearly moved by Ye Chen, this matter coming out makes the conclusion even more certain.

Before leaving China, he had already seen through Tawana's thoughts, at that time he still thought, as long as Tawana could put her feelings for Ye Chen deep in her heart and continue to be down-to-earth with him, he could also accept it.

Just as Chinese people say, to live a decent life, how can there be no green on one's head?

But he never imagined that, just shortly after leaving China, Tawana would let herself go like this.

Looking at the video on his phone, he couldn't help but angrily roar: "Could it be that when she kissed Ye Chen on stage in front of tens of thousands of people, she didn't think about my feelings? Others don't know who he is, can I not know? Others don't know what mindset you have, can I not know?!"

Trevor, whose emotions were somewhat uncontrollable, had tears already unconsciously flowing down.

He even went to a very famous jewelry company, asking them to help him custom-make a proposal diamond ring, after all, back when he was on Tawana's private plane, Tawana had subtly agreed to his proposal intention.

But now this situation, Trevor feels somewhat torn inside.

And Tawana on stage is completely immersed in her first concert in Yanjing.

Because she kissed Ye Chen, she feels an unprecedented sense of ease in her heart, so the subsequent performances, she can be said to have exceeded expectations, each song sung better than the last, even better than the CD recorded in the recording studio!

Fans are extremely excited, feeling the concert tickets are simply worth buying, they actually got to see Tawana's most peak stage performance.

And Tawana is indeed giving her all, she wants to make this concert the most perfect one in her singing career, without exception.

In this way, this concert will keep spreading online, keep accumulating heat, and more people will see the scene of her kissing Ye Chen.

She feels that, for herself, this is a very cool and also very comforting thing.

When she finished singing the last song and bowed to the entire audience, she felt immensely moved in her heart, and tears once again welled up.

She held the microphone, choked with sobs, and said: "Thank you all, thank you all the staff, thank you Yanjing, this is the most perfect performance of my life, I think it will be very hard to surpass in the future, I hope you can like this performance, thank you again to those who support me, thank you everyone!"

Tens of thousands of spectators excitedly cheered and shouted, tearful Tawana waved to the audience while retreating to the lifting platform, then shouted again: "Thank you all! Wishing everyone good night! Goodbye!"

Afterwards, she deeply bowed, the lifting platform slowly descended, and countless colorful ribbons fell from the sky, the visual effect perfect to the extreme.

Many spectators were deeply moved, weeping as they saw Tawana disappear from the stage, the applause, cheers, and screams at the venue continued without cessation, showing no sign of weakening.

While Tawana had just stepped down from the lifting platform, the agent waiting there couldn't help but ask her: "Tawana, what were you thinking…… doing such a controversial act in front of tens of thousands of people, do you not know the whole world is discussing your behavior……"

Tawana smiled indifferently and said: "No matter how they discuss it, you don't need to explain for me."

The agent looked at her wistfully and said: "I have already explained for me……"
