Chapter 848: Pulling the Qin Family

In the afternoon, Ye Chen used the force of a crushing landslide to fire nearly half of Kobayashi Pharmaceutical's employees.

Originally, those people at Kobayashi Pharmaceutical wanted to resist Ye Chen by going on strike, but they didn't expect that Ye Chen wouldn't have any softheartedness toward them at all, firing them all, not leaving a single one.

This matter triggered a huge earthquake in the Japanese business world!

First of all, no one expected that the flourishing Kobayashi Pharmaceutical would change hands and now have 90% of its shares transferred to a Chinese person, becoming a Chinese company.

Secondly, no one expected that after Kobayashi Pharmaceutical became a Chinese company, it would fire half of its employees in one breath!

In Japan, apart from encountering bankruptcy, very few companies would suddenly fire so many people.

Especially a manufacturing enterprise like Kobayashi Pharmaceutical with nearly ten thousand employees.

Firing half of them at once meant firing four or five thousand people!

Moreover, apart from employees in production positions, the R&D, promotion, and sales positions were all cut clean. This method of operation made everyone feel unbelievable.

In their view, this way of laying off employees was equivalent to self-mutilation.

But Ye Chen didn't care.

What he needed wasn't Kobayashi Pharmaceutical's

As long as Kobayashi Pharmaceutical honestly produced Nine Mysteries Stomach Powder for him according to his requirements, that was the greatest value of Kobayashi Pharmaceutical at the current stage.

And those remaining at Kobayashi Pharmaceutical who had not yet been fired were all the heads of the production lines.

Immediately following this, Ye Chen held a meeting at Kobayashi Pharmaceutical and appointed Wei Liang as the General Manager of Kobayashi Pharmaceutical and Kobayashi Ichiro as the Deputy General Manager.

At the same time, Ye Chen also very clearly warned these remaining production line heads: "You people in charge of the production lines, listen well. If you honestly do your work for me, obediently listen to my orders, and do things according to my instructions, then your jobs can be kept, and at the same time, your income can also be guaranteed. What I can promise you is that if you honestly work for me, I will ensure your income is absolutely no lower than before."

As he spoke, Ye Chen changed his tone and shouted sternly: "However! If any of you among you dares to play little tricks with me or dares to go against me, then I'm sorry, I will immediately kick you out of Kobayashi Pharmaceutical!"

The people who remained heard this and immediately, like tamed wild dogs, honestly did not dare to say another word.

When the crowd was indignant, everyone wanted to resist because they felt that when everyone was tied together as a whole, Ye Chen would definitely not dare to do anything to them; after all, he certainly would not want Kobayashi Pharmaceutical to suddenly fall into paralysis.

But what everyone did not expect was that Ye Chen did not play by the rules at all. Before everyone could tie themselves together to go against him, he had already kicked half of the people away!

This immediately caused all the people who were kicked out, as well as their families, to fall into a serious economic crisis.

Therefore, this remaining group of people no longer dared to have any thoughts of insubordination. Being able to keep this job and ensuring that their treatment was no lower than before meant that their family lives would not be affected in any way, which made them breathe a complete sigh of relief.

At a time like this, how could they still have any thoughts of resistance?

Consequently, the group hurriedly and submissively expressed their surrender and decided to work wholeheartedly for Ye Chen's Kobayashi Pharmaceutical.

Ye Chen then nodded with satisfaction and said to Kobayashi Ichiro: "From today on, you must cooperate well with Wei Liang to readjust all production plans for Kobayashi Pharmaceutical. Stop all of Kobayashi Pharmaceutical's previous drug production and fully switch to producing Nine Mysteries Stomach Powder. Do you understand?"

Kobayashi Ichiro hurriedly expressed his loyalty: "Mr. Ye, please rest assured, I will definitely cooperate with General Manager Wei with all my strength!"

Wei Liang said to Ye Chen at this time: "General Manager Ye, Kobayashi Pharmaceutical's production capacity is still very strong. If we fully start switching to producing Nine Mysteries Stomach Powder, then the demand for raw materials for Nine Mysteries Stomach Powder will be enormous. We must prepare for this in advance; otherwise, once the production raw materials are insufficient, it will seriously restrict production capacity."

Ye Chen nodded and said: "I will solve the matter of raw materials."

When saying this, what Ye Chen thought of was the head of the Qin family far away in Jin Ling, Qin Gang.

The Qin family originally started their business through the medicinal herb trade.

Moreover, Qin Gang was a person Ye Chen trusted very much, so Ye Chen prepared to hand over all the raw medicinal herb business to him.

Subsequently, he immediately took out his mobile phone and made a call to Qin Gang.

When the call connected, Qin Gang was eating.

Seeing that it was a call from Ye Chen, he said very respectfully: "Master Ye, how do you have the time to call me?"

Ye Chen asked with a smile: "General Manager Qin, I have something I want to ask you."

Qin Gang said respectfully: "Master Ye, please feel free to ask."

Ye Chen said: "How much is your Qin family's annual supply of medicinal herbs now?"

Qin Gang thought for a moment and said: "Last year, our Qin family handled a total of over 200,000 tons of various medicinal herbs, supplying more than 30 pharmaceutical companies of all sizes across the country."

Ye Chen gave a hum and asked again: "Can you manage to supply one million tons a year?"

Qin Gang exclaimed: "One million tons?! Master Ye, one million tons is almost equal to the total annual output of plant-based medicinal herbs in the three northeastern provinces. Our country's total annual output is only about five million tons, and the largest medicinal herb company in the country can only handle 700,000 to 800,000 tons a year..."

Ye Chen asked him: "Then do you have the confidence to supply one million tons a year?"

Qin Gang said: "Master Ye, the medicinal herbs are all in the hands of herb farmers across the country. As long as we go to purchase them, one million tons is not a big problem. The key is that I don't have the channels to digest so many medicinal herbs! Actually, personally, I would love to sell more medicinal herbs every year, but the key is to find a buyer with sufficient strength."

Ye Chen smiled and said: "To tell you the truth, I have already taken over Kobayashi Pharmaceutical in Japan. In the near future, all of Kobayashi Pharmaceutical's production capacity will serve me, and I am also preparing to continue expanding the production lines. This year, consuming one million tons of medicinal herbs is not a big problem. I trust you. If you are interested in cooperating with me, then I will give you the entire supply order for these one million tons of medicinal herbs!"

Upon hearing this, Qin Gang was so excited that he stood up from his dining chair with a start, not even caring that his bowl and chopsticks fell to the floor. He said excitedly: "Master... Master Ye... are... are you saying this is true?!"

Ye Chen smiled indifferently: "When have I, Ye Chen, ever told you a lie?"

Qin Gang was instantly overjoyed, excited to the point of being beyond measure!

He was extremely agitated in his heart and thought to himself: "If Master Ye can really digest one million tons of medicinal herbs from the Qin family every year, that would be equivalent to directly increasing the Qin family's business volume by five times! In that case, wouldn't the Qin family's strength increase rapidly?! And wouldn't my dream of revitalizing the Qin family be easily realized?!"

At this very moment, he almost regarded Ye Chen as the rebirth of the entire Qin family. He said excitedly: "Master Ye! Since you think so highly of me and are willing to give me a hand, then I will definitely not hold you back! Please rest assured, no matter how many medicinal herbs you want, even if I have to risk my life, I will definitely get them for you! And I will definitely give you the best quality and the lowest price!"
