Chapter 953: Setting a Trap for Ma Lan

Early the next morning.

Xiao Churan and Xiao Changkun left home early to busy themselves with their own affairs.

Xiao Churan's studio was on holiday according to the national statutory holidays, starting from New Year's Eve and resting until the sixth day of the first lunar month, a total of seven days.

As for Xiao Changkun's Calligraphy and Painting Association, it was an interest group itself, so there was no such thing as a holiday. Whether to go or not depended entirely on everyone's mood.

And Xiao Changkun didn't get along with Ma Lan at home, so he wished he could stay at the Calligraphy and Painting Association even on the first day of the New Year.

Ma Lan didn't have any social engagements and was preparing ingredients for the New Year's Eve dinner at home alone.

As for Ye Chen, after getting up early, he checked the operation report of Jiuxuan Pharmaceutical sent by Wei Liang through his phone.

Currently, several production lines of Kobayashi Pharmaceutical in Japan had started to smoothly switch to producing Jiuxuan Stomach Powder, and they already had a large amount of inventory in a short period of time.

Ye Chen planned to start selling Jiuxuan Stomach Powder across Japan on the first day of the Lunar New Year. By then, major Japanese TV stations would also broadcast advertisements for Jiuxuan Stomach Powder endorsed by Gu Qiuyi.

As one of the most well-known female stars in Asia, Gu Qiuyi's influence in Japan should not be underestimated.

Coupled with the fact that the efficacy of Jiuxuan Stomach Powder was far superior to similar competing products, Ye Chen believed that Jiuxuan Stomach Powder would definitely become a hit in Japan.

Ma Lan, who was preparing ingredients downstairs, heard the doorbell ring.

She walked out of the courtyard and saw a courier standing outside the door, so she opened the courtyard gate directly.

The courier asked her: "Is this Ms. Ma Lan's house?"

Ma Lan nodded: "I am, what's the matter?"

The courier handed a small package to her and said: "Hello Ms. Ma, this is your local courier, please sign for it."

"Sent to me?!"

At this time, Ma Lan was a bit surprised. She didn't shop online much, and she hadn't bought anything online recently, so how could she have a local courier?

So, after signing for the courier, she suspiciously unpacked it.

After unpacking, Ma Lan discovered that the courier contained a set of high-end body care essential oil trial samples, as well as a beautifully crafted card and a printed letter.

She opened the letter and read the words on it aloud: "Dear valued guest, congratulations on winning a full-body SPA care package at the Lizi High-end Beauty and Wellness Club, valued at 8,888 yuan. With this package card, you can enjoy a free full-set SPA service at the store at any time, no appointment necessary!"

After reading this, Ma Lan said happily: "Oh my, a free full-body SPA care?! There's such a good thing?!"

Thinking of lying on the beauty bed and enjoying the meticulous massage of the technician, Ma Lan felt an unbearable itch all over her body!

She couldn't help but think: "I've been nursing my leg at home for a while, and I haven't enjoyed high-end SPA for a long time. I didn't expect such a free high-end SPA to suddenly fall in front of me. This might be someone who sent it to me by mistake. If I don't hurry up and experience it, what if they take it back? Wouldn't I be at a loss?!"

Thinking of this, Ma Lan immediately tucked the package card into her pocket, ran into the house excitedly, went straight to her room on the third floor, changed into a set of clothes for going out, and planned to go out immediately to get this SPA done.

Thinking that Ye Chen hadn't come downstairs yet, she came to the door of Ye Chen and Xiao Churan's room on the second floor, knocked gently, and asked with a smile: "Good son-in-law, are you up yet?"

Ye Chen got up and opened the door, asking: "Mom, do you have something to do?"

Ma Lan smiled embarrassedly: "Well, Mom has something to do and is going out for a while. Breakfast is ready, it's in the kitchen, and it's still hot. You hurry down and eat it while it's hot!"

Ye Chen nodded and said: "Okay Mom, if you have something to do, go ahead."

Ma Lan hurriedly smiled: "Alright, alright! Then Mom is going out first. If you have anything, call Mom!"

"Okay."

Ye Chen didn't think much about it. After all, Ma Lan was also an adult, and going out was normal.

Xiao Changgan had been staring closely at the entrance of Ye Chen's house from the terrace of his room.

Seeing Ma Lan go out in a hurry, a cold smile crossed his lips.

Afterwards, he walked downstairs quickly and said to Xiao Hailong: "Hailong, Ma Lan is out! How are your friends prepared?"

Xiao Hailong laughed: "Dad, don't worry about my work, I've prepared everything, I guarantee Ma Lan won't return!"

Xiao Changgan hurriedly said: "Come, come, come, review the whole plan with me again, I want to see if there are any loopholes!"

Xiao Weiwei and Old Mrs. Xiao also gathered around, waiting for Xiao Hailong's next words with anticipation.

Xiao Hailong said proudly: "First of all, the beauty card that was sent to Ma Lan by local courier just now, isn't that beauty club called Lizhi Beauty and Health Club? The owner of this beauty club is a friend of mine. He is having a hard time operating now and has always wanted to transfer the beauty club, but isn't the economic situation not good recently? So it hasn't been transferred out."

Xiao Changgan waved his hand: "Get to the point!"

Xiao Hailong hurriedly said: "Don't be anxious, Dad! I have to tell you the whole plan clearly!"

Xiao Changgan nodded: "Fine, fine, fine, you say."

Xiao Hailong then continued: "This friend of mine can't hold on anymore, so he wants to take advantage of the fact that members have a lot of things at home during the New Year and can't take care of coming for beauty treatments, and take the opportunity to roll up the money and run away. I told him that as long as he cooperates well with me to perform this play, I'll give him 200,000. He's going to run away anyway, so naturally, he's willing to earn more money before running away."

Xiao Weiwei on the side hurriedly asked: "Brother, you tricked Ma Lan into doing beauty treatments, are you planning to tie her up at the beauty salon?"

"Right!" Xiao Hailong nodded and said: "That beauty salon has a back door. When Ma Lan goes in to do SPA, I will arrange for the technician to put sleeping pills in her water. When she falls asleep, we will drive to the back door of the beauty salon and take Ma Lan away directly from the back door. It will definitely be done without anyone knowing!"

Qian Hongyan asked after hearing this: "Hailong, after you finish torturing Ma Lan, how do you plan to deal with her?"

Xiao Hailong said: "I haven't thought about this yet, what do you think?"

Qian Hongyan immediately gritted her teeth and said: "Find a black coal mine and send her there to dig coal too!"

Xiao Hailong said awkwardly: "I don't know anyone who runs a black coal mine!"

Xiao Weiwei blurted out: "Then send her to Africa to plant sugarcane! I heard there are quite a few illegal immigrants there who can only bury their heads in the sugarcane fields to cut sugarcane for their whole lives, and they can't leave the African continent for their whole lives!"

Xiao Hailong coughed and said awkwardly: "Weiwei, you're talking about illegal smuggling, I don't have that connection!"

Qian Hongyan was anxious and blurted out: "Hailong, are you just planning to find someone to sleep with Ma Lan, then take some photos, and then let her go?! This is too cheap for her, right?!"

Although Xiao Changgan was very disgusted with Qian Hongyan, he couldn't help but nod in agreement when he heard this: "Yeah! Just finding someone to sleep with Ma Lan might actually let Ma Lan take advantage of it!"

Old Mrs. Xiao pondered for a moment and said: "We are messing with Ma Lan, which is also to vent our anger for Mr. Wu. Why don't you call Mr. Wu, Changgan, and see if he has any friends who run black coal mines? By then, we can arrange for Ma Lan to go dig coal too!" ===== CHAPTER 954 =====
