"To clear the instance," Wu Chang said calmly, then stepped through the light door with Eileen in his arms.

"Wait!"

Xiang Jianxing and the Negotiation Master sprinted toward the light door—but too late; the door vanished just as they reached it.

"I haven't even boarded yet! I haven't boarded yet!" they shouted at the spot where the light door had disappeared.

Buddy, even if you don't need us as combat power and can clear the instance alone—

At least let us out of this hellhole before you leave!

Wu Chang returned to the Golden Beach, took out a grill and four Golden Flying Fish from his inventory, and grilled the fish while admiring the moon.

Perhaps the aroma of the grilled fish was too strong—it made Eileen's eyelids twitch, and she slowly opened her eyes.

"Didn't you see what happened outside when your spirit was inside the pendant?"

Aileen shook her head. "I had no awareness during that time."

Wu Chang exhaled slowly, regaining his composure. "I slipped the necklace into your mouth while your body wasn't paying attention."

"While your body wasn't paying attention" meant he had struck you unconscious, rendering you unable to notice.

Aileen rubbed the side of her face where two large teeth had fallen out. "Then why is my face so sore?"

Wu Chang kept his expression unchanged. "Probably because it bruised your teeth. I saw how hard that necklace was—biting down must've hurt like hell."

"Really?"

Aileen shoved the two teeth back into her mouth and cast a holy light spell upon herself. After the glow faded, the two teeth had regrown.

Since they could regrow, the misunderstanding was resolved—nothing had happened.

Wu Chang willingly handed her a grilled fish, flattery in his voice. "Eat first. You've just reclaimed your body—you need nourishment. Golden Flying Fish are a specialty of Briver. You've probably forgotten the taste; you might as well try it again."

Aileen, having lost the Sin of Gluttony, had nothing left to make her crave fish, and could now eat Golden Flying Fish without restraint.
