Chapter 85: Publication Statement

Tomorrow at noon, this book will be officially published. Following the tradition of Qidian, I must write a publication statement before it goes live. First and foremost, I want to thank all my good brothers. Nowadays, Infinite Flow stories usually feature short instances and a fast pace; the instances in this book have already become quite long, but you brothers have kept reading, helping a newbie fulfill a dream and even making it onto the Sanjiang list—it’s just too awesome.

Let’s talk about what everyone cares about most: it goes live tomorrow at noon. I’ve already taken leave, and I’m starting a burst of updates. I’ll post everything I write, with a minimum of four chapters.

Since I still have a day job and am not writing full-time, I can only say I will do my best regarding updates. On weekdays, there will be a minimum of two chapters, with a small chance of three if the writing goes smoothly; on weekends, there will be a minimum of two chapters, with an effort for three, and a small chance of a burst if the writing goes smoothly.

Allow me a small excuse: my chapters are relatively long. Two chapters often add up to over five thousand words, so counting two chapters as 2.5 isn't too much of a stretch, right? Rounding up, that’s basically three chapters, no real problem there, right? (Dog head to save my life).

After talking about updates, let’s talk about the book title.

I’ve seen many good brothers complaining about the title and the synopsis, and I’m trying to think of a way, but for now, I can’t. I’m terrible at naming things. The current title, which has been criticized so much, was already the most "human-sounding" one the editor chose from the five backup titles I submitted.

If my inspiration hits a high point one day and I suddenly get an idea for a new title, I’ll change it then.

To the brothers who have been "stockpiling" the book, I beg you to give a first subscription before you continue stockpiling; a newbie really needs this.
