Chapter 85: Launch Note

Tomorrow at noon, this book is going on the premium shelf. Following Qidian's tradition, I need to write a launch note before going on the shelf. First off, I want to thank all you good bros. Let me start with what you guys care about most: the book goes on the premium shelf tomorrow at noon, I've already taken leave, and I'm starting the explosive updates. Whatever I write gets posted — a guaranteed four chapters.

Since I still have a day job and I'm not full-time, I can only do my best on updates: a guaranteed two chapters on workdays, with a small chance of three if the writing flows; a guaranteed two chapters on weekends, aiming for three, with a small chance of an explosive update if the writing flows.

Let me make a small excuse for myself: my chapters are fairly long, and two of them often add up to over five thousand characters, so two chapters basically count as 2.5 chapters, right? Rounded off, that's three chapters — not too unreasonable, right? (dog-head emoji to save my life).

Now that updates are covered, let's talk about the book title.

I've seen a lot of good bros roasting the book title and synopsis. I'm trying to figure something out, but there's no solution for now. I'm terrible at naming — even this current title that everyone's roasting was already the most "human-sounding" one my editor picked from the five backup titles I submitted.

If one day my inspiration stat suddenly spikes and I get an idea for a new title, I'll swap it then.
