Chapter 11: with translation of chapter title
Moisture was blown away by the wind, and the damp hair gradually became smooth.
"My hair is light purple, eh."
Ye Xi'an held her waist-length hair in her hand; although she hadn't groomed it for a long time, the hair quality remained smooth and shiny, slightly wavy, shimmering with a dreamy light purple.
Bao Jing let out a light laugh, drawing a strange look from Ye Xi'an: "What are you laughing at?"
"I thought only I knew your hair was purple on the first day; I didn't expect you to have just found out either. How long have you gone without washing your hair?"
Ye Xi'an thought for a moment: "It seems I haven't washed it since I can remember."
Bao Jing, upon hearing that, was amazed and couldn't help but give a thumbs-up: "You're the one!"
Ye Xi'an knew he was teasing her, so she could only comfort herself that he was teasing the Original Owner, and she herself wasn't that unclean.
The two of them cleaned themselves up and finally started making money.
Upon encountering wild beasts, they killed them; upon encountering rare fruits, they picked them; upon encountering vegetables and mushrooms, they let none go.
Such sweeping behavior, in less than two hours, the gathered goods piled up into a small hill two meters high.
Bao Jing looked at the harvest, and even his usually stern mouth corner couldn't help but curl up.
He had already seen a good life beckoning to him.
"See how much your space can hold."
Ye Xi'an put her hands on her hips, waved at the supplies on the ground, and collected everything.
"Just this? Even if you brought another hundred like this, I could still fit them."
Bao Jing then realized something was off: "Did your ability level up?"
Logically speaking, with Ye Xi'an's low level, being able to hold half would already be the maximum.
Ye Xi'an didn't know Bao Jing's suspicion; she simply told him her discovery: "When I used my ability, I noticed my space was unusually small, feeling off, so I examined it closely—guess what happened?"
Bao Jing raised his eyebrows: "What can a space do?"
"How so?"
"As it turns out, I discovered my space isn't a space at all, but a passageway!"
"The end of the passageway connects to another world."
"However, that world seems devoid of life; I wandered around for a while and didn't even see a blade of grass, but it's fine—I can store things there."
Ye Xi'an's delicate eyebrows furrowed slightly: "You say it's strange, isn't it?"
And Bao Jing, upon hearing Ye Xi'an's words, was stunned; he organized his information and probed: "So you can now store things infinitely?"
"Logically speaking, that's the case."
Bao Jing excitedly grabbed Ye Xi'an's shoulders, not knowing what to say.
If they could truly store things infinitely, then each time they took a mission they could bring back unlimited supplies to exchange for Contribution Points, and they wouldn't have to worry about food or clothing.
Renting an entire building would be a piece of cake!
"Quick, let's keep looking to see if we can really store infinitely!"
Ye Xi'an let out a painful wail; she had been walking all afternoon, aside from nibbling some fruit, she hadn't eaten anything else, and now she felt terribly hungry and tired.
"Let's rest a bit; I'm hungry."
Having said that, Ye Xi'an sat down directly on the ground and refused to move no matter what.
Although Bao Jing was excited, he also knew that females are delicate.
"Stay here and don't wander off; I'll go see if I can catch some game."
Ye Xi'an let her legs dangle, not lifting her head: "Okay."
Bao Jing took two steps, turned back to look at Ye Xi'an, still feeling uneasy, so he turned back again and scooped her up from the ground in one motion, holding her in his arms.
