Chapter 24: Leave it

Yi Yang said as he was about to hug Ye Xi'an, but Ye Xi'an slapped his hand away: "Sleep on your own, don't hug me."

Although she could accept sleeping on the same bed, after all they were now a proper married couple, but the two of them were still not familiar, so cuddling and hugging still wasn't really okay.

Bao Jing's anxious expression vanished completely the moment he saw Ye Xi'an safe and sound; he stared coldly: "Why didn't you just suffocate? Why take out so much at once?"

Even if Ye Xi'an had a good temper, she didn't want to be scolded over and over; she was just an innocent social anxiety sufferer, why should she be sent here for no reason to be yelled at: "Hey! What are you shouting for? If you have something to say, say it nicely, instead of grabbing people's throats and yelling at them, do you think you're a domineering CEO?"

"I'm telling you, if you dare yell at me again, I'll, I'll..." Ye Xi'an thought for a long time but couldn't come up with any threatening threat.

The rabbit hadn't sensed the danger yet, and let out an "ah" cry.

That cry seemed to snap the last straw for Ji Jiangci, and he charged forward like a train.

Ye Xi'an immediately stepped back: "Ji Jiangci, calm down! If you want meat, wait until we earn money and I'll buy you some, yeah?"

Ye Xi'an lowered her head, blankly staring at the dark brown whorl in her arms violently twitching.

Ji Jiangci buried his face in the rabbit's belly and took a hard sniff, letting out a contented sigh.

Yes, Ji Jiangci is a hardcore fur enthusiast; he can't resist any cute creature.

He lifted his head satisfactorily from Ye Xi'an's embrace, that expression—as if he'd just done something—left Ye Xi'an dumbfounded.

"Leave it; I'll eat less from now on and feed it."
