Idle Words and Trivial Talk

Recently, many readers have been urging me to speed up the plot, accusing me of padding word count, but the issue is that even while writing, I still feel it’s not detailed enough… this is already a condensed version.

Often, readers criticize authors, yet the authors themselves also wish to improve in the direction readers hope for—but skill and writing ability don’t develop overnight; it’s not that I don’t want to hurry, but this is already the fastest I’ve been able to go while still trying.

I actually understand this feeling—for example, watching a TV drama with many side plots: in “The Last of Us,” several episodes felt slow to me, but upon closer inspection, they truly contained rich content, enriching the story and characters as a whole, even making me reflect more than the main plot did.

I’m not claiming my verbose passages have the same effect, but I’m at least trying, to some degree, to portray the characters and the entire event.

My ability is limited, my talent average—I truly apologize to everyone. If you find the plot bland and unsatisfying, feel free to skip or find some mysterious website; I simply wish to calmly finish writing my zombie universe.
