Chapter 122: You
An Sheng squatted in the parking lot, teaching the dogs the art of cute antics to beg for food and drink, and the discipline method of targeting the crotch of bad people for a hard kick.
With the advancement of time, dogs shouldn’t just strive to eat enough—they should aim to eat well too.
For humans, being a lapdog is a hopeless pursuit, but for dogs, it’s perfectly suited.
“Woof woof woof.”
At 2:20 a.m., Bai, who had been studying business strategy, looked at the fox and, with an embarrassed expression, let out two dog barks.
Brother, I really ate well tonight, and I’ve learned a lot from you.
But it’s time we head home. I can get back in minutes, but the others aren’t as fast—I need to leave early for them.
“Alright.”
An Sheng paused, ended today’s lesson, patted Bai on the shoulder, and told him to review and reflect on tonight’s teachings after getting home.
For spiritual beasts living in the city, one of the most important things—besides malicious cuteness—is learning how to use a smartphone.
“Woof—”
Bai, reluctant and slightly regretful, waved goodbye to An Sheng and led his pack away.
Fox Brother is still the best at being a dog—no wonder he charmed my little master so easily, leaving her dizzy and disoriented. He’s got real wisdom.
The only thing Bai regretted was that tonight’s grand dog parade failed to draw out the giant porcupine that ruled the district—to crush its skull.
“Ying ying ying.”
An Sheng watched the dog pack disappear, pressed twice on the smartwatch around his neck, then turned his gaze slightly toward the hospital building, lost in thought.
“I’m dying to know—why didn’t I go check that thing out? If it had +4 vow power, I should’ve at least taken a look.”
The fox sighed heavily, as if regretting missing the spectacle.
+3 vow power is already armored vehicle level.
+4 vow power? It’d fly straight to the heavens.
While An Sheng was still brooding, Lin Ying’s business car pulled into the parking lot.
As the car moved, Lin Ying, seated in the back, buckled her seatbelt, opened the door, reached out, snatched up the white little creature hiding in the shadows, and sped off.
The fox typed on his phone, full of regret, complaining about missing the chance to watch the show.
Foxes are creatures of intense curiosity—Lin Ying understood this completely.
But no matter how hard she thought, she could never have guessed.
The “spectacle” in Fox Elder’s mind would be a massive one for her two days from now.
………………
An Sheng took a shower at Lin Ying’s place, trotted home with a happy expression, washed his paws, then returned to his and Yu Xueqing’s bedroom to sleep.
“Huh? What’s Mo Yifujie doing?”
As An Sheng climbed onto the bed, he felt the left side shaking—he turned his head and saw Mo Yiqing, completely wrapped in a sheet, letting out a strange, muffled sound:
“Let’s be clear—that bed is mine. You can temporarily sleep on it, but no glueing.”
The fox lifted his hind leg and nudged the sheet-wrapped Mo Yiqing, signaling her to be mindful—there’s someone else in the room, don’t go too far.
“Huh?”
Mo Yiqing felt a kick, stopped typing on WeChat, pulled back the sheet, and glared at the fox who’d just kicked her.
Mo Yiqing removed her Bluetooth earphones and, under the moonlight, looked at the fox with a strange expression:
“You came back just in time. Tomorrow, you might get a gift.”
Mo Yiqing glanced at the fox, then at her WeChat chat interface.
Yin Pengfei: 【Qingqing, I’ve arrived in Xia Dong!】
Yin Pengfei: 【What do you think of this gift?】
A short video was sent—Yin Pengfei stood beside a nighttime road, filming a truck.
On both sides of the cargo truck were banners covered in text: 【Mo Yiqing! I love everything about you—even if you kick me, stomp on me with high heels, or whip me, my love won’t change one bit.】
Besides the banners, the truck had a loudspeaker blaring:
“Qingqing! I love you! I, Yin Pengfei, will do anything for you—even lick your shoe soles!”
Mo Yiqing: 【Smile.jpg】
Mo Yiqing: 【I’m not joking. If I see that truck tomorrow, you’ll die.】
Yin Pengfei: 【Alright then! I thought you’d like this kind of romantic gesture, but besides the surprise proposal, I secretly got you another gift.】
As he typed, he sent a photo—several paper boxes labeled in English.
Yin Pengfei: 【I just saw your WeChat Moments post with the fox video. These are the eight-in-one dog vaccine and rabies shot I originally bought for my pet. I guessed you might like keeping pets, so I’m repurposing them—these are imported premium vaccines, hard to find domestically.】
Yin Pengfei had seen Mo Yiqing’s WeChat Moments post featuring her cuddling the fox, and deduced she might own a canine pet—he’d prepared a full set of eight-in-one vaccine and a rabies shot for the pet.
Before even arriving, Yin Pengfei had already prepared nine shots of vaccine for Fox Elder—to jab into his ass.
“??? ”
An Sheng had heard “gift” and was eagerly peering at Mo Yiqing’s phone, wondering what else this rich girl had bought him besides a fridge and a robot vacuum.
But one glance revealed that this genuine dog, Yin Pengfei, wanted to give him a butt shot.
“You’re the dog! Why the hell are you trying to court Mo Yiqing by jabbing needles in my ass?”
“Compared to me needing vaccines, I think these vaccines suit you better—day and night!”
An Sheng froze, then flew into a rage—but since Yu Xueqing was sleeping beside him, he hissed quietly:
“You know what vaccines are?”
Mo Yiqing, startled by the fox’s fury, suddenly realized something: “Oh right—you probably know about vaccines. Yu Xueqing might not have taken you for shots yet, but you were probably vaccinated back at the breeding farm.”
“Help me tomorrow—when you see him, bite him straight in the mouth. I can’t stand the sight of him.”
Mo Yiqing lay back down, pulled the pillow close, and tried to yank the sheet over her head.
But she paused, then pointed upward at the top of the wardrobe: “By the way—want to come in? I’ve noticed a double-tail girl up there.”
“I told Yu Xueqing, but she insists she’s drunk and denies it’s real.”
“Since you’re helping me tomorrow, I’ll spare you tonight—I’ll be your human cushion.”
An Sheng followed her gaze, squinting at the top edge of the wardrobe.
Two black antennae swayed gently in the air-conditioner’s breeze—like twin pigtails.
“Yu Xueqing—return those five bottles of insecticide you bought for a hundred bucks. I think your cockroaches have been breathing them in like oxygen.”
An Sheng’s eye twitched—he finally understood why Mo Yiqing kept herself wrapped up.
She didn’t sleep like that out of habit—she just didn’t want those filthy things touching her, so she hid under the sheet.
Can’t fight them, can’t avoid them—what else can you do but pretend they’re not there?
The fox sighed, ran to Yu Xueqing’s side, opened his mouth, and pulled the sheet up to cover every vital part of her body, then dove into Mo Yiqing’s arms like slipping into a bunker.
“Goodnight! May my dreams be cockroach-free—and hope the beach hotel has none tomorrow!”
The fox mumbled, planning to sleep well, then head to the beach—and later, jab those nine vaccines from Yin Pengfei straight into his ass.
Compared to my own needs,
An Sheng felt Yin Pengfei needed them more.
