Chapter 197: You Won
「…………」
In the instant Yin Pengfei saw Yu Xueqing, his body froze stiff, his face blank with shock, and his mind instantly began flashing through a life replay.
He recalled riding his bicycle as a child, brakes failing on a downhill, and tumbling into an open septic tank.
He remembered in elementary school pulling on a girl's bra strap for fun, her crying and telling the teacher, and how his mother nearly broke his legs when she found out.
In middle school, he got into trouble for talking back to a teacher—whose family connections were enormous; she only took this job because it was an elite school, perfect for monetizing her resources. When he got home, unsurprisingly, his mother nearly broke his legs again.
If his mother found out
Yin Pengfei snapped back to reality, shot up his hand as if Yu Xueqing had turned into a flood or a ferocious beast, and made a stop gesture: "Stop! Stop! Stop! There must be some misunderstanding between us! Don't go—I can explain everything here!"
"Put your phone down first. Give me two minutes."
"Your girlfriend?"
After seeing Yu Xueqing, Yin Pengfei dared not continue hugging the qipao girl—he immediately pulled his arm back, putting half a meter between himself and her. The qipao girl stared, bewildered, from Yin Pengfei to Yu Xueqing:
"Even rich second-generation guys get scared of their girlfriends getting jealous?"
「…………」
Seeing Yin Pengfei's actions, Yu Xueqing's face twisted with discomfort. She subtly stepped back, pretending nothing had happened, as if to slip away and find Mo Mo.
Meanwhile, over forty thousand viewers in the livestream were stunned by the scene—the commenters, usually mindless copy-pasters, even paused briefly.
【Boyfriend cheating? This is so juicy—is this free content?】
【Holy shit!】
【I didn't have bad intentions—I just wanted to send my kid to kindergarten. You better mean an actual kindergarten, not a nursery!】
After a brief pause, the comments exploded like a sudden storm—the livestream blew up.
Nobody knew who Yin Pengfei was.
Viewers only saw a young man in a sharp suit, smiling confidently, apparently hooking up—until the host appeared, and he visibly panicked, even shouting at her to calm down.
But the host remained silent, slowly backing away.
Drama!
There's a whiff of big drama here!
"I won't listen, I won't listen, I can't hear it."
After regaining her composure, Yu Xueqing politely replied to Yin Pengfei, then turned with elegant precision and walked away.
What was there left to say?
Yin Pengfei had just said the girl only needed to go to the hospital for a checkup, and he'd pay her thirty thousand a week for her services.
Though Yu Xueqing was a bit scatterbrained, she hadn't skipped a single day of compulsory education—she knew perfectly well what dirty transaction was happening here. From Yin Pengfei's words, she even picked up an unspoken subtext: No condom!
Wow!
Even before marriage, you don't even use a condom? Thank goodness Mo Mo didn't believe your lies!
For introverted Yu Xueqing, every word Yin Pengfei spoke shattered her worldview.
"Don't run!"
Ignoring the qipao girl entirely, Yin Pengfei kicked off his leather shoes and sprinted after her, shouting:
"It was all a misunderstanding! That woman's a professional hospital escort! Two days ago, I slipped in a flower shop and landed on a rose bush—now I've got a hole in my ass! I really did hire a nurse!"
What was the qipao girl even doing there? Yin Pengfei didn't care—he only knew she was big and white.
But it was just a lie—why worry about details? Besides, he wasn't entirely lying.
His ass really did look like a pockmarked face. Last time that fox slammed a pot of cactus into him, he nearly died on the spot and spent two full days recovering.
"Qingqing! Let me explain!"
As he closed in on Yu Xueqing and saw she showed no sign of stopping, Yin Pengfei abandoned all gentlemanly pretense, lunged forward, and tried to tackle her to shout more lies.
"Ah! Don't come near—"
From the livestream's perspective, Yu Xueqing saw Yin Pengfei make a move like an American football player charging—and she instantly guessed his intent. Terrified of skin contact and potential disease, she clenched her tiny fist and struck with lightning speed, aiming to knock him away.
"Shhh—"
Yu Xueqing instinctively stepped forward, twisted her hips and waist, her arm muscles tensing instantly. Though no dragon roars or tiger roars echoed around her, her punch—like a cannonball—shot out with blinding speed, striking Yin Pengfei's chest with primal force.
Yu Xueqing's movement was impossibly fast—once she twisted her hips and waist, the punch was already out.
Against her speed, Yin Pengfei's towering body flew backward as if in slow motion.
A fist-shaped imprint seared his chest; his clothes rippled, his back arched, his face filled with disbelief as he rolled and slid three or four meters across the grass before stopping.
Yin Pengfei's face was a mask of shock and disbelief—he clearly had no idea what had just happened.
He felt like he'd been hit by a car.
But after a brief daze, searing pain erupted in his chest. He clutched his ribs, sweat drenching his forehead, mouth gaping open as he sucked in sharp breaths, too pained to make a sound.
Somewhat faintly, he felt a slight indentation in his chest.
"Mmmmm?"
An Sheng, who had been napping on Yu Xueqing's shoulder, slowly slid to the ground and stared at Yin Pengfei with a strange expression.
"Friend… dead yet?"
An Sheng raised a paw, shoved Yin Pengfei, forcing him flat onto the grass. He unbuttoned Yin Pengfei's shirt and poked the red mark on his chest.
"Looks like ribs aren't broken? No internal bleeding or other symptoms? You're way too fragile—a little girl punched you once, and you skid five meters?"
An Sheng squatted on the ground, opened the saddlebag he'd always carried across his chest, and, under Yin Pengfei's wide-eyed, clutching-garments stare, pulled out a black box with a metal tip.
Yin Pengfei, face twisted in pain, slowly looked up at the fox crouched before him and raised a questioning eyebrow.
"Papapa—"
Master Fox didn't speak. He simply smiled, reached out, and plugged the sparking taser into Yin Pengfei's shoulder.
"Fuck!"
In agony, Yin Pengfei shot upright, howling like a banshee as he clutched his arm. The pain in his chest—like being hit by a car—came slowly, but the electric shock in his arm felt like jamming a toothpick into his toe and then kicking a wall.
Clutching his arm, Yin Pengfei stumbled backward, staring at the little fox with deep wariness.
The bathroom fight could've been an accident.
After the farmers' market battle, Yin Pengfei had already sensed something off about that white fox.
But even knowing something was off, he had to push forward.
Without a recent photo of Mo Yiqing to post, his mother wouldn't transfer the money.
He'd thought the fox was just a spirit animal—but now, seeing it pull out a taser, Yin Pengfei understood one thing deeply.
The fox clearly hated him.
Though he didn't understand fox language, Yin Pengfei was skilled at reading expressions—he could clearly read the fox's message:
If you dare bother Qingqing again, I'll zap your dong right now.
"Yin Pengfei! Have you had enough?!"
Mo Yiqing, rushing over from the direct sales zone, hurried to Yu Xueqing's side and picked up her scattered belongings. After that punch, Yu Xueqing had no time to grab her backpack or livestream phone.
Her things lay scattered on the ground. Mo Yiqing had been watching the livestream from a tea stall in the direct sales zone, sensed something was wrong, and ran over immediately.
Mo Yiqing looked at the little fox. The fox shoved the taser back into its bag, then stared curiously at Mo Yiqing, followed closely by Su Qiyuan and Bai Tao.
"What happened? Why's everyone here?"
