Chapter 51
The Genie Starting from Marvel
In a wizarding black market, Frank and Lupin were wandering around aimlessly.
"So you don't have a single penny?" After walking around for a long time, Frank couldn't help but ask.
Lupin was very embarrassed. "Well, you know, I'm a werewolf, no job will hire me, and every month, I need to hide myself, so..."
"... Do you accept gold here?" Frank asked, scratching his hair.
"Of course, gold is a very important raw material and is very valuable." Lupin nodded and replied. If gold wasn't valuable, there wouldn't be rumors about the Philosopher's Stone being able to turn things into gold.
"Fine, you help me contact a Potion Master first, I'll go get some money." Frank decided to use his small treasury.
"That... actually... it's best not to break the law..." Lupin persuaded in a low voice. In his cognition, getting some money was generally equivalent to direct robbery.
"What are you thinking?"
Frank looked at Lupin strangely. "I'm just planning to go back and get some money."
"That's good, that's good." Lupin felt even more embarrassed.
Frank shook his head, found a remote place, opened the door of the cabin with a key, transferred through the door, and returned to the Marvel world from this world.
After buying a piece of pure gold in a gold shop, Frank quickly returned to this world. On Nick Fury's side, he had just discovered Frank's mobile phone signal, and it disappeared again all of a sudden.
Holding the gold, Frank found Lupin at the entrance of a shop. Several wizards were standing in front of the shop they were looking at, and they looked like the kind of characters not to be messed with. "What's the situation?"
"It's Aurors, law enforcement officers from the Ministry of Magic," Lupin explained.
"Oh, did your friend commit tax evasion?" Hearing law enforcement officers, Frank's first reaction was this. After all, it's a black market, isn't tax evasion a very common thing?
"It shouldn't be. If it were just not paying taxes, at most Hit Wizards would come; it wouldn't reach the point of so many Aurors coming." Lupin shook his head and said. He had a bad premonition.
Just as the two of them were chatting, an Auror turned his gaze towards this side, mainly focusing on Lupin. After all, Lupin was wearing a hood and covering half of his face; he didn't look like a good person at first glance.
"You! Take off your hat!" the Auror ordered, pointing at Lupin.
The Auror's voice attracted the attention of many people nearby. Many wizards had taken out their wands. Once something happened, Lupin would definitely be the fuse.
Lupin sighed and took off his hat. "Long time no see."
The moment that Auror saw Lupin, the expression on his face became very strange. Fear, disgust, guilt, praise, and other contradictory expressions all came out at once.
That face changed like a palette.
"Why are you here?" The Auror lowered his vigilance, came to Lupin, and asked in a low voice.
"I want to buy some potions," Lupin explained.
"What potions?" The Auror lowered his voice. "It's not some banned drug, is it?"
"No, I just want to buy Joy Potion," Lupin continued.
"Joy Potion, have you fallen to the point of using it to find happiness now?" There was a hint of 'hating that he didn't live up to expectations' in the Auror's tone.
Lupin smiled and didn't explain. "Can you help me buy it? I don't have Galleons, but I have gold."
While Lupin was speaking, Frank took out a small gold brick at the right time.
The Auror glanced at Frank. With Lupin vouching for him, he didn't intend to pursue Frank's identity. "Alright, it's just a bottle of Joy Potion, you don't need this. I'll help you buy it."
As he spoke, the Auror walked into the shop behind, then came out with a small bottle, stuffed the bottle into Lupin's hand, and patted him on the shoulder.
"Leave quickly once you get it. Don't come to this kind of black market often recently; it's very unsafe." The Auror advised.
"What exactly happened?" Lupin asked, frowning.
The Auror opened his mouth, then swallowed his words back. "Nothing, it's just that he's selling banned drugs, and we're here to investigate."
Lupin tilted his head slightly. I've read books and fought wars; don't try to fool me with such a retarded reason.
Under Lupin's stare, the Auror scratched his head. "Well, actually, it's just that a dark wizard violated the International Statute of Secrecy and appeared in a Muggle hospital. After we brought him back, we found that parts of his limbs and brain were missing. It's estimated that something went wrong with his Apparition."
"Sigh, spell safety is still very important. Don't be negligent. Well, I have things to do, so I won't chat with you anymore."
After the Auror walked away like he was avoiding a plague god, Frank nudged Lupin. "Was he lying?"
"Yes." Lupin's expression became increasingly serious, and he felt increasingly uneasy in his heart. "If he can't even tell me, the real thing must be no small matter."
"Are you two very close?" Frank continued to ask.
"Former comrades-in-arms, he is also one of the few people who know my werewolf identity." Lupin said, handing the Joy Potion to Frank. "You take it and use it first. I'll find other channels to inquire about it. I won't leave the hotel we're staying at for the next few days."
"Hey, hey, wait, doesn't this thing have an instruction manual?" Frank hurriedly stopped Lupin and asked.
"Instruction manual? No. We've never had such a thing. Every potion is used differently depending on the person; how could there be a unified instruction manual?" Lupin explained.
"Then you at least give me a safe dosage. Even if it doesn't work, it shouldn't make things worse." Frank felt a headache. What kind of wizarding world is this? It's too imprecise.
"Well... for an adult, one bottle cap should be fine. This dosage definitely won't exceed the limit."
It was just that Lupin studied very hard in school; otherwise, if someone else had come, they really might not have dared to say that.
"Fine..." Frank had no other choice. There was no instruction manual here, and no one had ever studied the safe dosage, so what could he do?
After Lupin walked away, Frank found a place again and returned to the Cabin.
In the center of the cabin, Johnson was still lying there, and the golden chains around him were the same as before, with no changes.
After hesitating for a while, Frank sighed, poured half a bottle cap of Joy Potion, carefully poured it into Johnson's throat, and then waited nervously on the side.
Ten minutes later, the Joy Potion seemed to have taken effect; Johnson's face, which had been crumpled into a ball, relaxed quite a bit.
Frank was overjoyed and prepared to add more dosage, but stopped when he was about to act. He really didn't know how to use this kind of medicine that didn't even have an instruction manual.
No! I still have to find someone to refer to and study it!
Frank added half a bottle cap of Joy Potion, and after using up the safe dosage, he tucked the potion away and headed to the Marvel world, Stark Industries.
