Chapter 92: Unavoidable War
Confirming that Audasxin had left, Dumbledore landed slowly. His entire state was very bad, not only physically but also mentally. What kind of broken matter was this! He had only been gone for a few days, and the shadow of war had already unavoidably shrouded the entire wizarding world.
"Headmaster!" Professor McGonagall immediately greeted him. She had too many things she wanted to say.
"Wait a moment." Dumbledore looked at Fudge. "Minister, please issue a mobilization order, calling all adult combat wizards to Hogwarts in the name of the Ministry of Magic."
Fudge was unusually obedient, nodding at Dumbledore's order.
Lupin was a bit puzzled and nudged Johnson. "Didn't you say to resolve everything in a peaceful way?"
"That was just a statement; it's not very likely." Johnson's expression was full of regret. "This war has nothing to do with justice or right and wrong; it's just a war about living space. So, once it starts, it won't end hastily. Having a two-day gap is good for both sides."
Beside them, Dumbledore and Fudge talked for a while, determined some definitions of adult combat wizards, then turned to look at the others. "Snape, notify the students' parents to take the children back to their homes. Lupin, go and scout to see if the Werewolves have received an invitation from the other side. McGonagall, Flitwick, Johnson, come with me."
"Understood!" Snape and Lupin hurried away.
In the Headmaster's office, Dumbledore waved his hand to temporarily put away all the desserts, clearing out three seats for Johnson and the other two.
"McGonagall, tell me first, what exactly is the situation." Dumbledore sat in his seat, hands clasped, looking at Professor McGonagall and asking.
Professor McGonagall nodded and recounted what had happened in the last few days using the most concise language.
Upon hearing that the Aurors brought by Umbridge had publicly used an Unforgivable Curse, Dumbledore frowned slightly. He thought of someone.
"McGonagall, go to Madam Pomfrey's place. Within two days, Hagrid must wake up. We need to reduce the intensity of the unavoidable war," Dumbledore arranged. "After doing this, go with Snape to arrange for the students' parents, and secretly scout to see if Tom has made a comeback."
Professor McGonagall's face changed. The "Tom" Dumbledore referred to was the second-generation Dark Lord—Voldemort. "Isn't he already dead?"
Dumbledore just quietly looked at Professor McGonagall. At this time, one should completely abandon illusions.
Professor McGonagall sighed and nodded, indicating she understood.
"Just scout secretly. My changes are so big; he won't be standing still either," Dumbledore instructed.
After Professor McGonagall left, Dumbledore looked at the Charms master Flitwick. "Flitwick, I need you to send invitations to those friends of yours. This war is not just our business; it relates to the entire wizarding world."
"I understand." Flitwick had already started drafting in his heart: which dueling experts could be invited, and which people had a probability of coming over at this time.
"Also, I need you to organize the original templates of current common spells. It's best if you can trace them back to the Chaos Magic period. We now need more powerful power to protect what we want to protect," Dumbledore continued to instruct.
Without using Dark Magic, Dumbledore didn't know how to fight Audasxin. That layer of dragon scales on her body could immunize against all modern spells with weak penetrating power.
"No problem. I will find the relevant spells that can directly strip away stability and restrictive runes as quickly as possible," Flitwick replied.
Some modern spells, in order to be more stable and easier to control and learn, had various other runes added to their original versions. This was a change that conformed to the development of that era.
However, now the era had changed again.
After Flitwick also left the office, Dumbledore relaxed slightly and looked at Johnson. "Professor Johnson, can you introduce me to the term 'Genie follower'?"
When Johnson spoke out in public, he had already thought that Dumbledore would pursue the question, so he directly said everything he had prepared.
From the first contact with the Genie, the understanding of the Genie, to the later contact with Genie followers, then to how they were injured and opened the door to come to this world, and finally, how he discovered Dumbledore and inferred that all creatures in this world with high-level dragon blood were followers of the Genie.
After listening to this long string of words, Dumbledore felt his head grow big, and the veins on his temples jumped one by one. "This..."
Dumbledore didn't know what language to use to describe Ding Hao for a moment, after all, he had become a follower without knowing anything at all.
"This god is really quite different," Dumbledore said very tactfully.
"Yes." Johnson nodded along. "But He doesn't need anyone's faith, doesn't need any offerings. In a sense, He is the most merciful, the most generous..."
"It's just too generous..." Dumbledore sighed long and hard. God knows if Voldemort's side had also boarded this ship.
"This is also a point we are troubled by. We have a hypothesis that the enemy on our side who almost killed me might also be..." Johnson gave a bitter smile.
Dumbledore's emotions were also very complex. He rubbed his face. No matter what the Genie was thinking, that wasn't something they could consider.
"What materials does your Magician need?" Dumbledore asked Johnson.
Johnson took a piece of paper from his pocket and placed it in front of Dumbledore, which was full of various precious magical materials from the Harry Potter world.
Facing Dumbledore's puzzled expression, Johnson scratched his face. "I finished comparing the main materials a while ago. Some of the auxiliary materials overlap with the previous ones, so I wrote them down."
"No problem. The school's material library is now open to you. Take whatever you want directly," Dumbledore completely threw the so-called Board of Governors to the side. Let them go to hell.
"Thank you very much," Johnson replied. He indeed needed to gain some self-preservation ability by advancing, otherwise, he planned to hide back in the Cabin in two days. After all, he had already been noticed by Audasxin.
"Also, what is the process to join your Genie Mutual Aid Society? A resume?" Dumbledore continued to ask.
"There isn't a very clear process. It just needs the consent of all current members. I'll help you ask in a few days," Johnson said.
Johnson couldn't let Dumbledore join now.
Otherwise, wouldn't the entire Genie Mutual Aid Society be passively involved in this war? Johnson himself intended to stay and help, but he wouldn't represent other members to make decisions.
Johnson's words didn't exceed Dumbledore's expectations. If it were him facing this situation, he would make the same choice.
"I'll trouble you. But there is one more thing I need your help with." Dumbledore slowly told the story of Harry Potter. ===== CHAPTER 93 =====
