Chapter 732

【Fate】 merges with 【???】

Originally, Cheng Shi had no good feelings for 【Time】.

First, 【Time】 is opposed to 【Fate】, and 【Existence】 is also the enemy of 【Nothingness】. He wouldn't have a good face for enemies. Second, the shadow of 【Time】 suddenly appearing in front of Avlos's door last time was still shrouded in Cheng Shi's heart. He knew very little about 【Time】 and was instinctively afraid of dealing with the unknown.

But now, his mentality has changed.

The moment he knew the God of Fun wanted him to merge with 【Time】, his rejection of 【Time】 suddenly turned into curiosity. He really wanted to know what role 【Time】 played in the God of Fun's plan, and whether He would agree to this merger with 【Nothingness】?

【Deception】 once said that any approach with His will is no longer an approach, but an approximation, so the road under Cheng Shi's feet was always walked by himself. Although this road was filled with so-called 【Fate】 guidance, he could at least say to a certain Him when meeting: This meeting has no shadow of the God of Fun.

But this time it's different. The God of Fun directly arranged a performance for him. The performance location was not only on the stage built by the "enemy," but the advertisement for the performance also had 【Fate】's name on it.

Cheng Shi is now like a helpless actor, holding a script with a title but no content. He wants to perform this script as well as possible, but doesn't know how to perform it.

The most critical problem is he doesn't know if 【Time】 participated in this script!

Benefactor, oh Benefactor, did you discuss it with 【Time】, or is it just a probe?

If it's the former, I'll just lie flat, but if it's the latter, can the 【Nothingness】 that is in fierce conflict protect me from His hands at the moment?

Cheng Shi was lost.

But this couldn't stump a Clown who is good at responding. After a short period of confusion, he frowned and made a decision.

Since the script wasn't written, then... I'll just improvise!

He moved, first questioning Brother Mouth frantically in his heart. After getting no response, his heart settled slightly, and he took out the Tongue of Lying and threw it toward the outer edge of the platform.

He was afraid that 【Time】 also had illusions similar to 【Memory】, and afraid that the place where 【Time】 was located was full of 【Existence】's phantoms, so he started using Tongue Brother to explore the way. Tongue Brother was very angry about this, because this overtime work didn't get any reward.

Seeing that there were no traps around, Cheng Shi's courage grew slightly.

He... took out a pickaxe.

That's right, a pickaxe!

Don't ask why there is a pickaxe in the Clown's portable space, asking means it's for mining.

But since there is clearly no mine here, what is Cheng Shi taking this thing out for?

Naturally, it's to get some... leave a way out, and by the way, get some spoils back.

As a believer of 【Fate】, as a player who is always steady, regardless of whether he will merge with 【Time】 later, Cheng Shi must think of a way out.

The merger of 【Nothingness】 and 【Existence】 is not a small matter. The fierce collision in the void just now is enough to show that his other benefactor does not agree with this matter. Although Cheng Shi doesn't know what method the God of Fun used to push this matter, once this matter lands, the God of Fun can hide in the void and not show up, but he... is afraid he can't avoid the anger of the other benefactor.

By then, how should he explain to 【Fate】 while wearing 【Time】's power?

I think your sibling god's suggestion is good, so I agreed?

That's afraid of not knowing how he died.

So Cheng Shi's actions at the moment were all to leave a way out for himself. He raised the pickaxe and chiseled fiercely toward the ground under his feet, wanting to knock a piece off this folded time and take it back for research.

By then, if 【Fate】 came in anger, he could quibble that he never agreed to the merger, that he was forced, and that he had used practical actions to prove his determination to resist 【Time】!

Look, Benefactor, this is the time I shattered from 【Time】. I couldn't do more, but I needed to express my attitude!

But this behavior still has risks, that is, even if 【Fate】 doesn't pursue it because of tolerance, 【Time】... how should he deal with it?

It's best if the other party doesn't appear, but what if He appears?

For this, Cheng Shi also thought of an excuse.

I, a Walker of 【Nothingness】, even merged with 【Existence】, is there anything wrong with bringing some specialties back from my "new home"?

No, absolutely not!

Regardless of whether these excuses are useful, Cheng Shi's greed convinced himself, so he knocked even harder.

However, how could a mortal's pickaxe shatter a god's creation? As Cheng Shi knocked faster and harder, the folded time ground didn't break, but his pickaxe wore out first.

This kind of wear was not the dullness of the tip, but was corroded by the vast time.

Whether it was the pickaxe or the wooden handle, everything became fragile and easy to break. Cheng Shi chiseled the ground with his last bit of strength, and the ground didn't move, but the pickaxe collapsed with a bang, turning into flying light spots, throwing into mid-air, and then like other streams of light in this space, fell instantly, all falling toward...

Cheng Shi!

"!!!"

Cheng Shi realized something was wrong and wanted to hide, but how can life hide from time?

Thus countless streams of light turned and entangled around him, turning into rings of annual rings reflected in his pupils that shrank in fear.

That time that circled into rings was like a carving knife from the ancient times, copying the texture of time onto Cheng Shi's eyes stroke by stroke, painting the fleeting moment of the present into an unchanging eternity.

And just at this time, another pair of eyes filled with spirals and starlight opened above Cheng Shi's head. He looked at Cheng Shi, his gaze was so complex, that complexity carried pain and firmness that mortals couldn't experience, and blinked at his believer silently.

And it was this blink that caused a mysterious 【Fate】 power to rise from those starry eyes, turning into starlight and filling the sky, lighting up this space again.

At the same time, Cheng Shi's hand was raised uncontrollably. Under his increasingly suspicious gaze, he pointed straight at the shadow in front of him, completing the switch of faith against his will for the first time.

At this moment, 【Deception】 power dissipated, and 【Fate】 power was full.

The 【Fate】 power on Cheng Shi's body began to echo with the starlight all over the sky, rising, and then entangled with the 【Time】 divine power just engraved into patterns, turning into countless interconnected virtual and real rings, instantly shining brilliantly in this starry sky, and then all poured back into Cheng Shi's eyes.

Cheng Shi only felt his vision go dark, and the whole person was thrown into the high sky by a giant force. He endured the severe dizziness and opened his eyes, but saw two black holes that were enough to imprison all time in the universe appearing in front of him...

Those black-hole-like eyes let out a sigh, and reconnected the "believer" who had seen Him back to the twisted watch face.

This thrilling experience of going up and down made Cheng Shi's heart beat like a drum, his whole body lost strength, but upon touching the stable ground, he still came back to his senses, raised his head to look high up for the first time, but at this time, whether it was those starry eyes or those black-hole pupils, They all disappeared.

The entire starry sky was left with only him, and the time still trapped here and countless clicking cosmic clocks.

Click... click... click...

Time never stopped passing, and the suspicion in Cheng Shi's heart grew larger and larger.

He felt that the familiar eyes that descended here just now didn't look like his benefactor 【Fate】, but everything in front of him had to make him believe that it was 【Fate】, and it was 【Fate】 who came specially to agree to the merger of 【Time】 faith!

Because...

【Cheng Shi, male, 22 years old】

【Life Path: Nothingness】

【Life Path Talent: Reflection of Nothingness (SSS):...】

【Current Faith: Fate (Merged) Time】
