Chapter 669: Great General, you must save my Southern Song!

Southern Song, Lin'an.

Zhao Gou looked at the urgent war report from the front line with great terror.

Anger, indignation, anxiety, and fear—countless emotions lingered in Zhao Gou's heart.

"How could it be like this!!! How could it be like this!!!!"

Zhao Gou couldn't help but shout loudly.

"Why did Great Jin suddenly tear up the alliance???"

"Why are they so untrustworthy!"

Zhao Gou sat directly on the ground, as if he couldn't believe the current fact.

Now, the Great Jin army had launched a large army without any warning, capturing several cities of Southern Song one after another.

Now, only the Yue Family Army of Yao Yue Fei and the Xiangyang City where Guo Jing was located were bitterly defending against the Great Jin army, preventing Great Jin from continuing to penetrate deeper in the short term.

But if these two places were broken, the Great Jin army would directly drive straight in.

His Northern Song would have no natural barriers to block them anymore.

As soon as Zhao Gou thought that if Xiangyang City and the Yue Family Army were lost, the Great Jin army would get closer and closer to him, Zhao Gou felt great fear.

"What to do???? What should I do?!!!"

"Why has the situation changed into this now???"

"Clearly, Northern Song was about to be destroyed at the beginning!!!"

"I hate this!!!"

While Zhao Gou was going crazy, he suddenly thought of something, and stood up all at once.

"Right, Yao Yue Fei, I still have Yao Yue Fei!!!"

"Where is Yao Yue Fei??? Where is Yao Yue Fei now!!!"

Zhao Gou's eyes were filled with bloodshot veins, and then he grabbed the eunuch beside him and asked fiercely.

Where had this little eunuch ever seen such a situation? After being grabbed by Zhao Gou, his face instantly turned pale with fright.

Subsequently, he knelt down directly and kowtowed fiercely toward the ground.

"General Yue, General Yue is in the Heavenly Prison now, Your Majesty!"

"You just had him locked in the Heavenly Prison a while ago!"

This little eunuch said loudly, his voice already carrying a trace of crying.

After hearing this, Zhao Gou was stunned for a moment, and then he said loudly toward this little eunuch:

"Then why don't you hurry and release General Yue!!!"

"Hurry! Fast!!!"

Zhao Gou's eyes were already bloodshot at this moment, and because of anxiety and anger, the veins on his face were also bulging.

After hearing Zhao Gou's words, the little eunuch on the ground immediately ran toward the outside of the hall.

Facing the angry Zhao Gou now, he was afraid he would be killed by Zhao Gou in the next second.

With the departure of the little eunuch, not long after, Yao Yue Fei was brought from the Heavenly Prison to Zhao Gou.

Seeing Yao Yue Fei's hands and feet bound by shackles, and countless scars of varying depths on Yao Yue Fei's chest and back, a trace of shock appeared in Zhao Gou's eyes.

"Who allowed you to do this to General Yue???"

"Who let you use private torture on General Yue???"

"Damn it!!!"

Subsequently, Zhao Gou kicked the two jailers who had brought Yao Yue Fei up twice fiercely.

After venting his anger slightly, Zhao Gou roared loudly toward the two jailers lying on the ground:

"Why don't you hurry and remove the shackles from General Yue's hands and feet!!!"

Hearing Zhao Gou's words, the jailers couldn't help but tremble, and then they hurriedly removed the handcuffs and leg shackles binding Yao Yue Fei.

The moment the shackles were removed, Yao Yue Fei was like someone who had collapsed, almost falling to the ground.

Subsequently, Yao Yue Fei endured his exhausted body and asked Zhao Gou:

"Your Majesty, how is the situation now?"

"Is there something wrong with Great Jin?"

Yao Yue Fei knew that since Zhao Gou had released him, and Zhao Gou's expression was so serious now, there must be something wrong with Great Jin.

And the problem was not small. Yao Yue Fei only hoped that he hadn't come out too late and that things weren't as bad as he had imagined.

After Yao Yue Fei finished speaking, a trace of excitement appeared in Zhao Gou's eyes. Before he even said anything, Yao Yue Fei could guess that something was wrong with Great Jin; Zhao Gou felt that Yao Yue Fei must have a way to solve the problem.

Subsequently, Zhao Gou couldn't help but walk to Yao Yue Fei's side, took Yao Yue Fei's hands, and then said anxiously:

"Great General, Southern Song needs you now!!!"

"Great Jin did not abide by our previous alliance; they suddenly invaded our Southern Song!"

"Because we were attacking Northern Song before, our domestic defensive forces were already empty, and now Great Jin has suddenly invaded, catching us off guard."

"Now, besides the defensive line guarded by the Yue Family Army, only Xiangyang City is left bitterly supporting us."

"Great General, you must save my Southern Song!!!"

Because Zhao Gou was very excited at this moment, his speech had already become somewhat incoherent.

After thinking for a moment, Yao Yue Fei extracted all the useful information from the news given by Zhao Gou.

The current situation of Southern Song, for Yao Yue Fei, was not particularly bad; his Yue Family Army still retained its full strength.

But it absolutely couldn't be considered good; as long as Great Jin broke through the barrier of the Yue Family Army, they could directly reach Lin'an, and there wouldn't even be any guards along the way.

"Your Majesty, do you still want to continue attacking Northern Song in this situation?"

Yao Yue Fei looked at Zhao Gou with very spirited eyes; he hoped Zhao Gou could truly wake up.

Hearing Yao Yue Fei's words, Zhao Gou's eyes were filled with complexity.

He really couldn't bear to withdraw the Northern Song army in this situation.

After all, now was the best time to attack Northern Song, with several factions launching attacks on Northern Song together.

He didn't want to miss this opportunity to make Southern Song the only Great Song. ===== CHAPTER 670 =====
