Chapter 175: On This 520, Thank You All
On this 520, thank you all.
On this 520, thank you all.
Just on this 520, we broke through thirty thousand average subscriptions, forty-three days since going on sale.
The promised bonus chapter (thirty thousand subscriptions within two months) I mentioned earlier can finally be made up; the task was completed ahead of schedule, now waiting for Qidian's scheduling.
Everyone is truly fierce.
Of course, I am fierce too, hands on hips~ For over forty days of adding chapters, even the old man thought it had been three or four months; it was damn tiring.
The results are also gratifying.
Actually, when I said there was no need to wait dryly until the target was truly reached, since it could be made up later, it was precisely because of this confidence.
Write the story well, and it will eventually receive positive feedback.
This book's early stages are certainly not as straightforward and satisfying as "Book of Chaos"; it is normal for early reading retention to be lower, but it has laid many groundwork threads for the later plot, so in terms of story fullness, it will definitely surpass "Book of Chaos".
When writing "Book of Chaos", I regretted the single storyline and the weak mid-to-late story, so before starting this book, I intended to deliberately improve this aspect.
In the early stages of "Book of Chaos", aside from burying the blind man's long-term thread and the delayed lineage thread, there were almost no subsequent threads laid out; the whole journey was Old Zhao leveling up and killing people, obviously a fast pace. But unfortunately, Hong Ling and Yang Yang never had their own stories fleshed out, and the later parts became increasingly thin, which is a great pity. Whereas "Shanhe Sacrifice", only a few dozen chapters into the opening, has already laid out Old Lu's leg-treatment thread, the revenge thread, the leveling and pill-refining thread, A Nuo's lineage thread, Shen Tang's royal thread, Miss Qingli's master-disciple thread, Mu Yu's crematorium, the demon-war thread, the righteous-demon conflict thread, and so on; therefore, its pace obviously cannot be as brisk and concise as "Book of Chaos", but once these laid-out threads explode one after another, the later text will definitely have more momentum.
Roughly from chapter 83, when Zhou and Tang kissed and Mu Yu became a clown, the results rose in a straight line; this was the result of the initial Mu Yu thread laying the groundwork for this small explosion.
Some people dislike that the fish is unlikable; of course, her positioning in the early stages was a contrasting character who ruined a good hand due to tsundere and yandere traits; her existence's meaning was to appear all the more like a clown; why should she be likable? If she were likable, how could we persecute her...
Actually, persecuting her until she becomes likable is just like with Kun Kun, haha.
Some are curious why she is labeled the female lead with so few plot points... emmmm, appearing in only a few chapters yet existing in every chapter is a fierce person; if not the protagonist, then who is? Who is Lu Xingzhou? I don't know him.
Additionally, regarding the daily pace, "Book of Chaos" always had a problem: the pace was too tight, basically not staying in one place for even a few days, rushing from place to place, which also led to relatively fewer daily interactions with the female leads. So this book added a large amount of daily life, especially sweet interactions; whether everyone likes it or not, I can't say; some might think it's filler, while others especially like it.
Anyway, I have many ideas, striving to improve the shortcomings of the previous book; as for subsequent results, limited by ability, it might succeed, it might fail... I can only say I will maintain my state and train of thought to write well, hoping this book's story can become more and more exciting.
Finally, thank you all for your continued support and trust, thank you.
