Chapter 2: Two People, One Room

~6 min read 1,115 words

As soon as we arrived in Beijing, Wu Qian actually took me to stay at the Beijing Hotel. To be honest, this was something I had never imagined in my life. Yet, for the two of us, she only booked one room.

As soon as we entered the room, Wu Qian kicked off her shoes and walked around barefoot. Seeing that I was still standing, she said, "Why are you still standing? Sit down!"

I looked at Wu Qian's petite, fair feet and hesitated before saying, "Are we only booking one room?"

"Yeah, it's over a thousand a night; my heart aches. Besides, I need your protection here."

I teased: "A lone man and a lone woman, in a melon patch or under a plum tree—aren't you afraid?"

"What am I afraid of? You're my boyfriend." Wu Qian looked at me sideways.

I was speechless. I suddenly discovered that I was always at a loss for words in front of her.

"I'm going to wash up first. I've been on the train for over twenty hours; I'm sick of sitting. Once our business is successful, let's fly back, okay?" she said softly, comforting me.

When I heard that, I was so happy I nearly sang out loud. I'd grown up this big and had never actually been on a plane.

Wu Qian turned and went into the bathroom. Before long, the sound of rushing water came from inside. I collapsed onto the bed, my mind filled with her full, fair body. Imagining the body of such a flower-like woman was a torture to my spirit. I smoked heavily, trying to use the smoke to numb my desires.

A short while later, Wu Qian emerged from the bathroom, wrapped in a bath towel, looking radiant. Her curvaceous body stretched beneath the towel; her slender calves, the hazy outline of her chest, her perfect shoulders, and her painted toenails were like a blooming flower, charming and seductive.

I was instantly dazed and confused. I stood up and reached out to embrace her.

Wu Qian didn't struggle. She leaned against my chest, blinking her bright, sparkling eyes at me: "Aren't you going to wash up?"

I had no choice but to let her go and rush into the bathroom, turning on the cold water to douse myself.

Cold water to douse a raging fire! Who the hell came up with this stupid idea? Drenched by the ice-cold water, goosebumps immediately broke out all over my body.

I hurriedly turned on the hot water and nearly screamed again; the scalding water nearly peeled a layer of skin off me. Ice and fire in one go!

When I came out, Wu Qian had already curled up under the quilt. I walked over to her bed, sat down, and reached out to pull her into my arms. That warmth and softness made me feel like I was in a heavenly paradise.

Embracing a woman so intimately—other than holding my aunt when I was eight—was a first in this life. My heart was thumping, as if it were about to break through my chest.

After holding her quietly for a while, I could no longer control the heat inside me. I slowly reached my hand under the quilt, but it stopped beneath her neck, not daring to advance a single step further.

Wu Qian let out a soft moan and grabbed my hand.

"Don't move anymore." Her face was flushed, and she didn't dare look at me.

I remembered reading in a book that when a woman says "no," it is actually the manifestation of her desire for you to do it. I had to put the book's teachings into practice!

"If you move again, I'll get angry, okay?" Wu Qian's voice sounded a bit pitiful.

I pretended not to hear. If a man could listen to a woman's rejection at a time like this, he wouldn't be a real man. I felt the blood surging through my veins, as if every vessel in my body was looking for an outlet, wanting to break through its constraints and release everything completely.

"Chen Feng!" Wu Qian called my name pitifully, looking so helpless: "I'm still a virgin!"

My head roared. Lying to me? Wu Qian, you've been in society for eight years; how could you still be a virgin? I remember when we were in university, all the virgins had been wiped out before they even left campus!

Wu Qian hadn't gone to university, but she had been knocking around in society for eight years. Eight years of the War of Resistance, and the Chinese people had already driven the Japanese devils away!

I leaned down and kissed Wu Qian's lips; they were warm but felt a bit stiff. Actually, I had no experience either, but I had read many literary classics. The books said that kissing was the easiest way for men and women to express love. I had to test the authenticity of those literary descriptions once more.

Wu Qian began to accept my kiss. My tongue aimlessly reached into her mouth, teasing wantonly between her fragrant lips and teeth. The business between men and women is an innate instinct. My hand finally slid to her chest, touching the peaks I had been dreaming of.

"Only allowed to touch once," Wu Qian said helplessly, relaxing her body.

I didn't speak, lost in her gentle lips and teeth.

Just as I was about to delve deeper, she pushed me away hard and apologized: "Chen Feng, let's both hold back, okay?"

I could only let her go. The woman before me, like a begonia flower, was my girlfriend and would be my wife in the future. Fine wine is best drunk last; it makes one more intoxicated.

"I'll hold you while we sleep. I promise not to move." I swore solemnly.

"The devil believes you." Wu Qian giggled: "You should go sleep in your own bed. Sleep well; we have things to do tonight."

I had no choice but to return to the other bed, pull the quilt over my head, and lie down.

When Wu Qian woke me up, it was already nine o'clock at night. She was dressed neatly and wore light makeup, looking even more charming under the lights.

"Boss Qin has arrived. Wait in the room for my call." She looked a bit nervous.

"Let me go with you," I said, wanting to get out of bed.

"It's fine. No one can eat me, don't worry!" She pointed to the room's safe, told me the code, and said: "If I call you, just come."

I nodded vigorously, watching her resolutely open the door and leave. ===== CHAPTER 3 =====
