Chapter 4: Disagreement
We didn't stay in Beijing for long; Wu Qian woke me up as soon as the sky turned bright.
I hadn't slept well last night. The first half of the night, I was tormented by the twenty thousand yuan. With my eyes closed, I calculated how to spend this money, coming up with many plans, all of which I eventually rejected. Because I calculated that according to any of my plans, this money was far from enough.
The second half of the night, I was tormented by Wu Qian. We were staying in the same room, and the beauty before my eyes was delicious, but she kept refusing me. It was like a hungry ox being led by the nose; the green grass was right there, but I couldn't take a bite. That was truly more painful than death.
While Wu Qian was asleep, I tried to love her. Her slightly flushed face under the soft light was infinitely charming. I sat by her bedside, held her in my arms, kissed her forehead, and let my hands wander outside her clothes.
Wu Qian was groggy, opening one leg and pressing it onto my body. Her hands also wandered over me, but only on my upper body; as soon as they reached my belt, they stopped. How I wished she would continue deeper; even if she gave me just a little bit of a signal, I could have been reckless.
After my hand hesitated for a long time, it finally slipped through her clothes and stopped directly on her firm chest.
I crossed from one peak to the next. Under my caresses, Wu Qian made ambiguous and seductive sounds. I clearly felt the nipples on her chest slowly hardening, even feeling them grate against my palms. I wanted to continue, but in the end, I couldn't advance a single step further than her lower abdomen.
Such a beauty left me wanting to advance but unable to, wanting to stop but unable to.
My heart had been burned to a crisp by desire. I leaned into her ear and said: "Let me love you properly, okay?"
Wu Qian didn't answer me at all, just stubbornly held my hand against her chest...
When Wu Qian called me, she was already dressed neatly. She had applied light makeup, making her look even more delicate and charming.
I hugged her waist and went into the bathroom.
As soon as we left, we ran straight to the airport.
Wu Qian bought the tickets. I took them and saw that the destination was actually Guangzhou.
I was a bit strange and said: "What are we going to Guangzhou for?"
Wu Qian smiled, looking a bit shy: "You're so impatient. Let's go to Guangzhou to get some things, and then go back to get married!"
In an instant, my heart bloomed. Ignoring the many people in the airport, I pulled her over, kissed her forehead lightly, and used a bit of force with my fingers on her waist. I felt a wisp of jade-like warmth flowing quietly between my fingers.
When I woke up, the plane was already taxiing on the runway. Wu Qian was sleeping sweetly on my shoulder, not yet awake. Her face rippled with a purity unique to a young girl. I shook her gently and whispered in her ear: "We've arrived in Guangzhou."
Wu Qian opened her eyes and lazily stretched her body.
After getting off the plane, we checked directly into the Civil Aviation Hotel. We were still staying in one room. This time, Wu Qian took the initiative to ask to lie on the same bed as me, but she had one requirement: I could kiss her and touch her, but I couldn't cross the final forbidden zone. Her reason was simple: "Since we've already come to Guangzhou to get things for our wedding, why care about a few days' difference!"
My reason was that since we were already getting married, why care about the ecstasy of the wedding night? Why couldn't we enjoy the most exciting thing in the world a little earlier?
But I was the arm, and she was the thigh; my arm couldn't twist her thigh. I could only hold the warm jade in my arms without being able to have any intimacy. This was more painful than killing someone! And I wasn't a fool like Liu Xiahui; how could I hold a virgin and not be moved? I think that guy surnamed Liu must have had sexual dysfunction; otherwise, how could he not be moved when a woman ran to him on a rainy night?
I am a hot-blooded man who had never had physical contact with a woman before. Suddenly having a flower-like person in my arms while I could only stare blankly—I even suspected that I hadn't done any good deeds in my past life, which was why I had to endure such torment in this one.
After waking up from a nap, I checked the time; it was already past five in the afternoon. We ordered two cold drinks and sat in a corner of the hotel, watching the hustle and bustle of the secular world outside.
"Let's buy a house when we go back," Wu Qian said: "What's the point of getting married without a house?"
I nodded. We had the money to buy a house now.
In the early 90s, buying a house was still a newly emerging thing, usually something only rich people could play with. After the reforms, housing was the first thing to be reformed; turning unit housing into private property only required paying a pitifully small amount of money. But such treatment was only enjoyed by leaders and old employees. For someone like me who had just entered the unit, welfare housing would always be a dream.
"Let's buy a bigger house," I said: "I'll bring my parents over to live with us."
"What?" Wu Qian looked at me and said: "Your parents are going to live with us?"
"Isn't that good? Haha," I said with a smile: "Later they can help us take care of the kids and do housework. You do business, I go to work—how great!" I was immersed in beautiful fantasies.
