Chapter 72

~10 min read 1,854 words

Hello everyone, this is Huang Gua~

Still the old rules, let's state the main points first:

I will release ten chapters at once tomorrow at twelve noon sharp.

Other additional updates will start from the next day; if the first order exceeds three thousand, add one chapter. Then for every five hundred more, add one chapter.

Alliance Leader... although it's unlikely... but Huang Gua will still say it... Alliance Leader adds two chapters...

Finally, after this burst period, in about a week, Huang Gua will save up some drafts and add one chapter every day for a period of time. As for how long this period can last... it depends on whether Huang Gua's boss acts like a human... the shortest will not be less than a week~

During the year-end holidays, Huang Gua will also add updates for everyone!

Please support the first order! Please, this is really important to Huang Gua!

Even if you leave later, for the sake of the joy Huang Gua brought you, please support Huang Gua with a few cents!

Please! ·°(﹏)°·

Alright, next is the nonsense segment~ Readers who are not interested can scroll away and wait for the update at twelve noon tomorrow~

Let's start with a question: Huang Gua is not a small account.

Huang Gua has never published any text under any pen name on any platform to earn any royalties (passionate writing of one or two ten thousand words, the kind that only has a beginning, doesn't count).

Everyone sees that this account is a new account, just because Huang Gua wants to distinguish the account for reading books from the account for writing books.

Huang Gua mentioned this in a single chapter before, many later book friends might not know.

Huang Gua does like to write, but the readers are basically just Huang Gua himself. This hobby was gradually put down after starting work.

If I have to say it, ten years ago, Huang Gua chose liberal arts, and that's how it is.

Writing this book, at the beginning, it was just that work had come to an end, and it was going well, so I was excited and wrote a beginning and posted it.

Then I received a signing notice, added the editor's friend, and then gradually received recommendations, and more and more people were watching.

Step by step, I walked to where I am now without knowing what was going on.

In this process, many people have provided Huang Gua with great help.

Let me thank you here first:

First is a senior, everyone might have read his book. His ID is Qin Zhi Hua Qing, his representative work is "Heart Demon," and he is currently serializing "Nether Painting Skin Scroll." His writing is super good, one of my favorite authors on Qidian.

Actually, it was a chance opportunity. A few years ago, when Huang Gua was chasing "Heart Demon," I added the senior's QQ. Then one day when the plot was stuck and I didn't know how to write it, I rashly asked him for advice.

Then he read my novel overnight, and from twelve o'clock, he talked to Huang Gua about the outline, plot arrangement, character design, and how to write a good book, until four in the morning.

After Huang Gua went to sleep, when I woke up the next day, I could still see the messages he sent me after five o'clock in the morning.

The outline of this book was also gradually formed in this process.

Really very grateful.

And there is my editor, Bacon.

Huang Gua wrote a book for the first time, some recommendation terms, what first round, second round, Sanjiang small speaker, I really didn't understand. So at first, I still treated this book as a simple hobby and didn't take the editor's words to heart.

Later, after senior Qin Zhi Hua Qing explained the meaning and rarity of these terms to me, I knew that the editor was optimistic about this book.

Realizing that I could no longer treat this book with a childish attitude, I wrote an outline and design overnight and discussed it with the editor. That day, the editor also gave Huang Gua a lot of suggestions, and one message sent was not even fully displayed on the entire page on QQ.

As an aside, Bacon is really super kind and gave Huang Gua a lot of encouragement!

Thank you both for your help, Huang Gua is really lucky.

There are also some guesses about the plot and settings raised by readers. After reading them, Huang Gua felt "Yes! That's great!" Some of them, Huang Gua also kept and added to the plot of this book (the legendary copying book reviews).

Here Huang Gua also says thank you to everyone~ Without everyone's support, Huang Gua would not have reached the step of being on the shelves, thank you very much.

Finally, let's talk about this book.

First of all, as an aside, maybe everyone doesn't believe it, but Huang Gua—actually can't be considered a martial arts enthusiast.

Huang Gua probably only watched a few classic martial arts dramas when I was a child, such as "The Return of the Condor Heroes," "The Proud Twins," and "The World's First." As for martial arts novels, Huang Gua really hasn't read many.

Web novels... Huang Gua actually doesn't read many either.

Huang Gua's personality is the kind that is both stubborn and conservative.

For example, novels, compared to reading a new one, Huang Gua is more willing to read the previous books again (if there is a chance later, Huang Gua can share Huang Gua's book list with everyone).

So for the current trend of web novels, Huang Gua doesn't know much, and the performance of this book is actually quite unexpected to Huang Gua.

Back to the point.

The opportunity to decide to write a martial arts novel was actually when Huang Gua was ten years old, a super, super niche martial arts novel found in Grandpa's box.

When Huang Gua was a child, I lived in a courtyard house. The south was the bedroom of Huang Gua's family, the west was the washroom, the east was the kitchen, the south was the living room and warehouse. Huang Gua had a small room there, and Huang Gua's grandmother brewed wine and prayed in it.

In the middle was a small courtyard. Huang Gua's grandmother planted a very tall cherry tree in it, and the cherries were very sour. There were also fig trees, Chinese roses, toon trees, and a small shelf. Huang Gua's grandmother would plant grapes and cucumbers on it, and you could sit under it to cool off in the summer.

Huang Gua remembers it was summer at that time, Huang Gua was sitting in the small courtyard, next to the fig tree that had borne fruit. The cherry tree in the courtyard blocked the sun.

Huang Gua's grandmother took two small puddings from the refrigerator, she had one, I had one, and the two of them sat in the courtyard. The pet chicken Huang Gua bought for fifty cents walked "patta patta" on the bluestone slab.

In the room behind, the sound of Grandpa watching TV was faint. The sound of bicycles "ding-a-ling ding-a-ling" came from the street outside.

After Huang Gua finished eating the ice cream, I picked a few figs to eat. Everyone might not know that the newly picked figs have white mucus on the stalk. Huang Gua didn't wipe his hands and went to flip through the book, and as a result, several pages of the book were stuck together.

Huang Gua's grandmother helped Huang Gua tear the book apart, and then went to pour Huang Gua a bowl of her secret "kombucha."

Huang Gua was in the small courtyard, blowing the wind, drinking "kombucha," and finished reading this book.

After Huang Gua's grandparents passed away, the "kombucha" was lost, and that novel could not be found.

Saying so much, Huang Gua doesn't know why this memory would make Huang Gua have the idea of "writing a martial arts novel."

Maybe it's to continue that summer, that martial arts novel whose name I can't remember.

As a result, this book started writing in winter, which is also a bit funny to think about.

I wrote a lot without knowing it, and I have many thoughts in my heart, but when I put it on paper, I still feel shallow.

Let's just leave it at that for now.

Thank you for your support, Huang Gua will try his best to write this book well~

Thank you very much~ This is the new author Huang Gua~
