Chapter 83: The Walking Feng Shui Machine

Don't say anything, just thinking about it is quite thrilling.

If this really takes shape, even the Band of Brothers could come and have a wrist-wrestling match.

Why must the first Band of Brothers for young people be the Band of Brothers?

Pity it can only be a daydream; this reality is not even as good as him and Sun Yanzi forming a Phoenix Legend and debuting a second time on the spot.

At least he and Sun Yanzi are both under Warner, making it easier to operate.

"Oh right, about the casting for your album's MV."

Having discussed this, Zhou Jianhui slapped his forehead, stood up, picked up a document folder from the desk behind the sofa, and handed it to Zhou Yi: "Many people want to be the female lead for the first single 'Jiangnan'. See which one suits you?"

"So many?"

Zhou Yi took it, weighed the heft and thickness in his hand, and said with surprise.

This is almost as much as a stack of ten thousand RMB.

"Your MVs are hotcakes right now, especially for those actresses and models who have debuted but aren't famous yet."

Zhou Jianhui sat down with a smile, raised his cup, and took a sip of tea: "That mainland actress from the Central Academy of Drama, Chen Hao, was noticed by the director of the drama 'Pink Ladies' and invited to act because she starred in your 'Flower Field Mistake' MV. This story has already spread throughout the domestic entertainment circle.

"Where there is one, there is two. The entertainment circle is a place that believes very much in Feng Shui. Since your MVs have produced examples like Zhou Jielun and Zhang Shaohan, and now Chen Hao, naturally in many people's eyes it will become a piece of fat meat dripping with fragrance."

Raising an eyebrow, Zhou Yi, who gave no opinion, immediately untied the string of the document folder, poured out a large pile of resumes inside, and of course, the half-body and full-body photos pasted along with the resumes were indispensable.

There were candidates from the Treasure Island, Xiangjiang, and the mainland.

Judging by the clothing in the photos, the Treasure Island and Xiangjiang candidates clearly understood men's hearts better; some Zhou Yi even often saw on TV commercials.

"Given that you can have such high popularity and cause such a huge stir even when not in the Treasure Island, many models and actresses from the Treasure Island want to take a gamble."

Seeing that Zhou Yi was still clearly appreciating these perfect resumes with a critical eye, Zhou Jianhui coughed and reminded him: "I suggest you pay more attention to the style when choosing the female lead. Li Saisong and the others have seen the lyrics and score of 'Jiangnan'. They said it is a song with a very gentle impression of the Jiangnan water towns, so don't pick a female lead who is too glamorous."

"Got it, don't worry, I get it."

While saying "I get it," he also quickly put aside the resumes he liked. Zhou Yi's action then paused on the next resume—

A name of a female actress very familiar in his memory immediately came into his view: Liu Tao.

"This is a young mainland actress. Her main film and television work currently is a local drama that is very popular in Guangdong Province, called 'The Outsider Daughter-in-Law and the Local Son'."

"She is also your fellow townsman; both are from Jiang Xi Province."

Seeing Zhou Yi's gaze linger on this resume for a long time, Zhou Jianhui glanced at it and said: "Her agent and company kept a very low posture when contacting us. There shouldn't be too many troubles with filming the MV. They also emphasized her Jiang Xi identity, which fits the theme of 'Jiangnan' quite well."

It's passable.

If he hadn't seen this resume, Zhou Yi would have almost forgotten this fellow townsman who would become extremely popular in the inner world in the future.

Putting aside other things, this person's ancient costume temperament indeed has a bit of the gentle and soft flavor of a Jiangnan woman. Her eyebrows and eyes are not aggressive and are more approachable.

"Let her try."

Although the MV doesn't require much acting skill, this person is at least a talent-type actress who didn't graduate from a drama school. Her ancient costume temperament fits the image of a Jiangnan woman, and plus she is a fellow townsman, so there's no reason not to use her.

Later, when Liu Tao becomes famous, Zhou Yi's MV metaphysics will add another point.

Seeing Zhou Yi quickly confirm his fellow townsman, Zhou Jianhui then spoke about the casting for the album's second single "Love Me or Her": "Zhou Xun just signed with Warner this year. The company plans to let her be one of the female leads in your song 'Love Me or Her', specifically the role of the girlfriend, which is considered a sign of valuing her. Afterwards, the company will also tailor-make an album for her.

"Also, you previously told Qian Jiang that you would give Fan Bingbin a female lead slot in your new album. Among 'Big City Small Love', 'Back-to-Back Embrace', 'Mermaid', and 'Love Me or Her', she chose 'Love Me or Her'."

Hearing this, Zhou Yi immediately smiled: "So decisive?"

He had specifically noted during the songwriting that this song's MV would have a kissing scene.

With Zhou Xun, who just signed with Warner, having already taken the girlfriend role, the only thing Fan Bingbin could get was the "mistress" who has a kissing scene with the MV's male lead.

"Chen Shufen has managed so many singers; she still has a certain ability to distinguish the quality of songs."

Zhou Jianhui, who had also been young, didn't mind this: "On the Emperor side, they also want two MV female lead slots because two girls want to form a group to debut, and Emperor is building their fame.

"They previously gave up Xie Tingfeng to boost your status; this counts as an exchange of interests. They didn't make any demands, just that it has to be a song. Which two songs do you plan to give them?"

"'Back-to-Back Embrace' and 'Big City Small Love'."

Zhou Yi, who was still flipping through the resumes in his hand, casually threw out two songs, and then saw two familiar names—Lin Zhiling and Wang Xinling.

Both are models.

"Lin Zhiling's acting style is relatively mature. She has experience shooting TV commercials, and her style leans towards maturity."

Seeing Zhou Yi's gaze linger on these two resumes, Zhou Jianhui analyzed the advantages of these two: "Wang Xinling is more adaptable. Her model style follows a sweet trend, and she has also participated in shooting Cai Jianya's MV."

"... Swap them. Give Emperor 'Back-to-Back Embrace' and 'Mermaid'. Give 'Big City Small Love' to Wang Xinling."

Zhou Yi, who directly threw away Lin Zhiling's resume, preliminarily settled the female leads for several songs' MVs.

It's better to find the Dark Lin Zhiling than Lin Zhiling herself. At least the Dark Lin Zhiling knows which bowl of rice she eats and where to place her butt.

"Alright. Once it's settled, I'll have Qian Jiang notify their respective agents to come for auditions. If it doesn't work out then, we'll change them."

Holding this list of MV female leads, Zhou Jianhui walked out of the lounge and hurriedly left. He still had to see if he could squeeze another deal out of Emperor.

Zhou Yi sat on the sofa, looking at the female leads he had selected, with a mischievous smile appearing on his face.

Liu Tao, Wang Xinling, plus Cai Zhuoyan and Zhong Xintong sent over by Emperor.

Regardless of what happens in the future, just having these four placed here is a visible all-star lineup.

What entertainment circle Feng Shui? In the future, he will be the walking Feng Shui machine within the entertainment circle.

Coincidentally, his name is also Zhou Yi.

This is the gold content of the two characters Zhou Yi!
