Of course, it wasn’t even two seconds before the two of them separated under Duan Xi’s oppressive gaze.

Ruan Jiaojiao pulled Yu Rou along to do introductions: "Tiantian, this is Yu Rou. She’s a friend I met in Beidu, and she’s come back with me this time to have a look around."

"Hello." Feng Tian smiled at Yu Rou, and Yu Rou returned the greeting with a smile.

As the three girls were exchanging friendly words, Lu Zishu stood off to the side, crossing his arms and sneering, "Feng Tian, who’s this? Your boyfriend? Not going to introduce him?"

Feng Tian didn’t understand what Lu Zishu meant by this, glancing at him with some confusion. Then she saw Li Chun walk up to Ruan Jiaojiao, extending his hand, "Hello, I’m Li Chun."

There were three guys on Ruan Jiaojiao’s side, along with Yu Rou, but Li Chun directly extended his hand to her, making his intentions all too obvious. Feng Tian’s face, which was full of joy at their reunion just moments ago, suddenly turned a bit pale, as she watched Li Chun excitedly introduce himself to Ruan Jiaojiao.

Ruan Jiaojiao frowned, glancing at Li Chun standing before her with barely concealed eyes. She was quite displeased inside, but out of consideration for Feng Tian, she didn’t make it too obvious. She just nodded at him without extending her hand and even took a step back, holding onto Duan Xi’s large hand.

Duan Xi, holding his little sweetheart with one hand, reached out with the other, "Duan Xi."

Li Chun looked at Duan Xi, then at Ruan Jiaojiao, who proactively held Duan Xi’s hand. He paused for a few seconds, then returned to normal, with a hint of a smile on his lips, "Hello."

Reaching out and shaking hands with Duan Xi, almost the moment their hands met, Li Chun’s smile couldn’t be maintained, showing a slight look of pain, though he forced himself to maintain composure in front of the girls.

Even after they let go, Li Chun’s hand went numb for quite a while, feeling lifeless.

The atmosphere among the four men was clearly off, but Ruan Jiaojiao pretended not to notice, obediently snuggling next to Duan Xi.

Yu Rou, on the other hand, covered her mouth as she giggled secretly. Ruan Jiaojiao was pretty, and whenever they went out to play, she was always the most eye-catching. But even if Duan Xi wasn’t there, Lu Zishu, Ruan Lei, or the others would be, so even if many people were interested in her, they’d at most steal a few glances without daring to take any further action, let alone approach her. This Li Chun was the first to try, and that too right in front of Duan Xi. Yu Rou truly admired him for that.

Feng Tian’s mood wasn’t as wonderful. She knew she couldn’t blame Ruan Jiaojiao, yet she couldn’t help her face from turning more and more unpleasant.

She attended a teacher’s college, and Li Chun was her senior, having just graduated from his fourth year majoring in music.
