A smile tugged at the corners of Ye Jiuliang’s mouth; he probably hadn’t realized that when he got nervous, he would stare at someone with wide eyes, desperate for them to believe him.

He didn’t want to talk more, and she didn’t probe, "Don’t mess around next time. If you want to learn how to ride a motorcycle, I can teach you, or have Aqian teach you. You got off easy with these injuries; next time you might not be so lucky."

Hearing Ji Mingqian’s name, Jiang Yisheng’s eyes quivered slightly, and he hastily said in an ostensibly casual tone, "One fall is life-threatening enough, better forget about it."
