Chapter 360, Are the fans toxic? (Fourth update)

Just as they eagerly looked towards the company lobby, a series of car horn sounds erupted behind them.

The crowd turned their heads to see a limited edition black Maybach come to a stable stop in front of them.

Recognizing it as Li Mohan’s car, the reporters swarmed over.

The flashbulbs burst continuously, and the sound of "click, click" rose and fell in succession.

Wei Bei got out of the car first, and, facing the throngs of reporters, he said somberly, "Please step back, or leave now."

Upon hearing this, the reporters unanimously stepped back.

It wasn’t worth jeopardizing everything over something small.

Wei Bei glanced at them, reached out, and opened the car door, with the reporters watching his every move.

A pair of long legs clad in suit trousers stepped out first, and the next second, the man’s handsome and frosty face was exposed to the reporters’ cameras.

As the car door closed, a few of the reporters close by faintly saw another person inside the car.

Could it be someone from the Ye Family?

The reporters speculated in their hearts, but dared not speak recklessly.

"Mr. Li, I heard you are the CEO of the MK Group, is that true?"

"Mr. Li, do you have any explanations for the rumors swirling around these past days?"

"Mr. Li, can you talk about your elder brother’s plane accident?"

"Mr. Li, you’ve been frequently seen shopping with Miss Ye recently, is something good about to happen?"

The question that stood out immediately drew everyone’s attention; the scene suddenly became quiet.

The male reporter who asked looked around timidly, puzzled—had he asked something wrong?

"Indeed, something good is on the horizon," Li Mohan suddenly spoke up, his low voice measured and unhurried.

The reporter who asked the question didn’t expect Li Mohan to suddenly respond; he felt a bit overwhelmed by the favor.

Out of all the questions, Li Mohan chose that one to answer first, which showed how important Ye Jiuliang was to him.

"The MK Group’s subsidiary will officially enter the capital starting today, and the acquisition of the Li Group has already become a done deal," Li Mohan said with a cold voice.

"Those unfounded rumors have circulated for long enough, and it’s time they came to an end. I hope not to hear such trivial questions again."

Before he finished speaking, Wei Bei stepped forward, positioning himself in front of Li Mohan.

"Mr. Li has other matters to attend to and must leave. If there are any more questions, feel free to ask, and I will try to answer them on his behalf."

Li Mohan walked around to the other side of the car, opened the door, and sat down in the driver’s seat.

The reporters watched the car start up and leave, then swarmed around Wei Bei.

"Big Boss, do you have any free time lately?" The voice opened with the same sycophantic tone.

Ji Mingqian was lying on the couch with his legs crossed, "Speak if you have business."

"Big Boss, the movie promotion is about to start, do you want to take part?" Chen Xin asked.

The usual refusal came, "No."

Chen Xin howled, "Big Boss, you’re not giving any face again. The magazine for which you recently shot endorsements has come out and sold out in seconds."

"There’s also something quite amusing; you and Mr. Jiang have been shipped together by the fans."

"What?" Ji Mingqian frowned. Were those fans mad?

"Big Boss, haven’t you been keeping up with the news? The shipping between you two has skyrocketed. Someone even dug up a video of you two dining secretly in the past, that video editing skill is pretty much turning it into a romantic blockbuster for you two," Chen Xin said, unable to suppress laughter that resembled a pig’s squeal.
