"Miss Ye," Tie Shan came forward with a welcoming smile.

"Please, the second private room upstairs."

Ye Jiuliang nodded, holding her bag, she leisurely followed Tie Shan upstairs.

No sooner had she stepped into the private room, a refreshing tea fragrance assaulted her senses.

Crossing the threshold, Ye Jiuliang’s cool voice carried a touch of amusement, "This tea isn’t bad."

"You know your stuff, little girl," Li Grandfather huffed when he saw her enter.

"Slow as molasses, did you ride a tortoise here?"

Ye Jiuliang took a seat opposite him, a faint smile gracing her lips, "You guessed right again, I did indeed ride a tortoise."

"Enough chit-chat," Li Grandfather grunted coldly, "Drink your tea."

Ye Jiuliang glanced at the steaming cup before her and thanked him with a smiley face.

She placed her bag on the table, reached out for the teacup, and took a delicate sip near her lips.

"What’s this?" Li Grandfather’s gaze landed on her bag, seeking conversation.

"Wine," Ye Jiuliang set down her teacup after finishing her tea, and took a white porcelain bottle out from the bag.

"It’s a wine brewed from herbs and berries, harmless to drink in abundance." Saying so, she placed the white porcelain bottle in front of him.

Li Grandfather regarded her skeptically for a moment before taking the porcelain bottle and inspecting it.

After a while, he removed the cork and sniffed at the neck of the bottle.
