Chapter 1158: Aberration

"Director Liu, time is urgent. I have drawn two large teams here, and there are more than 20 police officers and auxiliary police from several police stations in the urban area. You can use them first. By the afternoon, I should be able to draw a few more teams." Wang Sheng, the detachment leader of the Meiyang Municipal Criminal Police Detachment, explained to Liu Jinghui in a low voice.

Liu Jinghui hurriedly said: "Enough, it has far exceeded my requirements."

Liu Jinghui is sensible and knows that Wang Sheng's saying that he can draw a few more teams is purely polite. Of course, if he had a thick skin and insisted on people, Wang Sheng would definitely find a way for Jiang Yuan's sake. But Liu Jinghui prides himself on being a knight, so he definitely can't pit the dragon like this.

The two large teams of the Meiyang Municipal Criminal Police Detachment, if full, could have more than 50 people, but this is obviously impossible. The Criminal Police Detachment itself cannot enjoy such treatment.

Therefore, Liu Jinghui estimated that it would be good to get more than 20 people.

People always have some cases to handle. It is impossible to put down all the work in their hands and accompany Jiang Yuan's cold case task force to catch fugitives.

The current police force is always short of people, whether it is criminal police or police officers in police stations. There is no such thing as finishing one case and then doing another. Everyone is operating multiple cases at the same time, moving forward together, or what is called "multi-threaded case handling."

Therefore, the "special" word of the task force is very powerful because it means that multiple police officers are dedicated to investigating a case. However, this is like special funds for special use, which is so in principle.

The manpower of the Meiyang Municipal Criminal Police Detachment must also be insufficient. Jiang Yuan and the others arrived suddenly, and the Meiyang Municipal Criminal Police Detachment did not receive the news in advance. The local criminals in Meiyang City naturally would not be so sensible. Those who should commit crimes will still commit crimes.

Jiang Yuan also expressed his gratitude on the side, and added: "Ren Kuangshan has worked and lived in Meiyang City for a long time, and there are many relationship networks that can be used. If there are more people, we can investigate faster. We won't be polite."

The reason why Jiang Yuan brought the cold case task force to Meiyang City is not only because Ren Kuangshan is familiar with Meiyang City, but also because according to the motorcycle driving 300 to 400 kilometers a day, Meiyang City, located 1200 kilometers northeast of Changyang City, is a very reasonable supply point for Ren Kuangshan.

Driving a motorcycle for three days is very tiring. Even if it is ADV, driving on the highway is still okay. If you go on non-paved roads, or even have to walk dirt mountain roads or off-road, plus wild tent camping, plus eating problems, plus wild pooping and nervous emotions, etc., according to Liu Jinghui's analysis, Ren Kuangshan reached his limit after insisting for three or four days.

Assuming Ren Kuangshan understands a little anti-reconnaissance—currently, he is highly likely to understand a little—then after 72 hours of escape, Ren Kuangshan should also be a little relaxed.

By this time, even if he doesn't actively choose a place to rest or repair, his body will send many signals, letting him passively choose to repair.

For example, catching a cold and getting sick, for example, diarrhea or constipation, for example, back pain, considering that Ren Kuangshan also has cancer, and is a middle-aged person who has been sitting for a long time, it is very difficult to insist on camping in the wild for a long time.

Calculated this way, today and tomorrow, Ren Kuangshan is likely to come to Meiyang City.

Of course, if he has amazing perseverance, or explosive physical fitness, and insists on not coming to Meiyang City for another two days, it is also possible.

Tracking and escaping is like looking for a needle in a haystack. What Liu Jinghui pursues is not 100% accuracy.

But in any case, it is very necessary to check Ren Kuangshan's old relationships in Meiyang City, as well as the routes in and out of the city, etc.

And Liu Jinghui wants to lead the team to check, naturally, he also needs local police officers to accompany him. That kind of police from other places secretly conducting arrest activities in the local area, without notifying in advance or informing afterwards, violates the tacit understanding between criminal police and is easily misunderstood as kidnapping, which is no different from deep-sea fishing.

However, the support intensity of Wang Sheng's level is only because of Jiang Yuan. Criminal police in the same task force, including Ge Zhibing and others who are investigating in the southwest direction, can get support from three or five local police officers, which is considered lucky.

Wang Sheng is happy as long as Jiang Yuan is happy. Hearing Jiang Yuan say the word "thanks," he said happily: "If you have any needs, just tell us. The secretary also said yesterday that as long as it is a person in Meiyang City, you can mobilize them at will."

"Enough." Jiang Yuan said, then got up and said: "Liu is in charge of the investigation work here, and I made an appointment with Jin, the leader of the image investigation detachment, and I am going over."

"Old Jin has something." Wang Sheng hummed twice. He is from the Criminal Police Detachment, and image investigation belongs to two police types. Everyone cooperates when there is a major case, and everyone does their own thing on weekdays.

Jiang Yuan and Liu Jinghui looked at each other and set off separately.

Tracking and escaping for three days without results, many people's mentality is about to explode. Jiang Yuan and the others didn't dare to delay, and they were all rushing to do things.

Jiang Yuan came to the Image Investigation Detachment to watch monitoring videos.

On the second day of the case, the task force confirmed Ren Kuangshan's identity. Therefore, on the day of the case, Jiang Yuan could not conduct monitoring comparison. At that time, everyone was looking for cars and motorcycles.

After obtaining Ren Kuangshan's relevant materials, especially the videos under other monitoring recently, Jiang Yuan had images available for comparison.

From yesterday to today, Jiang Yuan has been reviewing Ren Kuangshan's materials, and then watching the monitoring videos sent by all parties.

In this, he not only has to look at his own direction, but other task forces, if they have video materials that they attach more importance to, will also send them to Jiang Yuan to watch, and Jiang Yuan naturally needs to watch them.

So far, this "Academician Murder Case" has a total of two major goals. The first is to investigate and arrest the mastermind behind the scenes, and the second is to track down the direct murderer Ren Kuangshan who is fleeing.

Even if Jiang Yuan and Liu Jinghui think that the criminal is highly likely to escape to the Northeast, there are too many variables in solving the case. Maybe the criminal's brain is pumped, and the police in other directions will find something.

Jiang Yuan mainly covets the equipment of image investigation. He brought a notebook when he went out. It is too inefficient to use it to watch video monitoring alone.

Jiang Yuan took Huang Qiangmin, took the Passat with the Beijing A head, and soon entered the courtyard of the image investigation.

Jin Sijun, the leader of the second detachment of the Meiyang Municipal Image Investigation Detachment, immediately called his detachment leader, and the latter called a group of people to come down to greet him.

Jiang Yuan quickly threw out Huang Qiangmin and said: "I will watch the monitoring directly. Please send a strong technician to help me use the equipment."

"No problem!" Jin Sijun also abandoned his own detachment leader, took Jiang Yuan to the elevator, and said: "Our equipment is relatively old, Team Leader Jiang, don't dislike it..."

"Where is that..." Jiang Yuan accompanied him with politeness for two minutes.

After entering the command room of the image investigation, Jiang Yuan immediately got a wall of screens.

"Team Leader Jiang, where to look?" Wang Chuanxing is responsible for conveying in the middle.

Jiang Yuan had already thought about it on the way, so he said: "Gas station! Continue to look at the gas station. He always has to refuel, right? How many gas stations haven't been looked at?"

"That's too many." Wang Chuanxing shook his head slightly.

"Then you find a few people to classify them roughly, see which gas stations Ren Kuangshan is more likely to appear in, and then divide them according to the standards we discussed before, such as distance, time, location selection, whether motorcycles can be refueled, etc. You divide them according to these standards first, and I will look at them one by one." Jiang Yuan looked at both sides again, and Jin Sijun actually prepared more than 20 people, which should be all the members of his detachment.

There is no need to be polite at this time, Jiang Yuan immediately arranged the work for them.

Watching video monitoring is not enough for any number of people, because you can watch it very carefully, or you can watch a super long range, it just depends on how the host arranges it.

It is like the task force far away in Changyang City, which has already begun to organize local image investigation to find the relevant videos after Ren Kuangshan knew he had cancer, and is trying to find out who is in contact with him.

Jiang Yuan can't manage things so far away, just focused on tracking Ren Kuangshan.

Theoretically, if Ren Kuangshan can be caught alive, his contact with the superior, etc., will at least have a more specific range.

This kind of thing, pure remote mode is very difficult, and both sides need to establish too much trust.

Wang Chuanxing responded, and began to point people to arrange tasks.

Soon, the second detachment of the Meiyang Municipal Image Investigation Detachment moved.

Jiang Yuan constantly issued tasks, Wang Chuanxing decomposed tasks, and the police officers of the second detachment of the image investigation constantly completed tasks.

From time to time, other police officers of the image investigation would come to see Jiang Yuan, or stroll and look around.

The police officers of other detachments of the image investigation detachment still have their own work and tasks, but their curiosity about Jiang Yuan is too heavy. Considering the problem of confidentiality, no one dares to look at Jiang Yuan's screen, and it is not easy to say hello to Jiang Yuan, but just looking at it can satisfy many people.

Jiang Yuan also strolled slowly for two hours in one breath, then got up, drank some tea, thought about it, and moved his muscles and bones by the way.

"Team Leader Jiang!"

"Team Leader Jiang, do you want to see this of ours."

"Director Jiang, show you something fun."

The police officers in the command room greeted Jiang Yuan one after another.

Being a policeman, regardless of whether they are i-people or not, they can all be E when needed.

At the same time, being a policeman, who doesn't have a few difficult cold cases in their hands? So, seeing Jiang Yuan coming, they all looked like they saw ginseng fruit. They were also afraid that Jiang Yuan would avoid suspicion, so they all had to invite him actively. Limited by policies and regulations, the means of invitation were limited to between the King of Daughter Country and the White Bone Spirit.

"Turn back, turn back..." Jiang Yuan greeted with a smile, not even glancing at their screens.

Image investigation is too slow. He has no time to manage other people's cases now.

Strolling and thinking for more than ten minutes, Jiang Yuan returned to the original position, beckoned to call Wang Chuanxing, and said: "What we just watched, are all monitoring videos of gas stations starting from yesterday?"

"Yes."

"Didn't see Ren Kuangshan and his motorcycle."

Wang Chuanxing felt it was reasonable, smiled and said: "It's been three days, it's very difficult to judge his specific refueling time."

"From the monitoring video of the first day, there should be some traces." Jiang Yuan was talking about monitoring card points on the road. With the current density of monitoring in China, it is impossible to completely get rid of vehicle card points and want to drive away from the city and province, and riding a motorcycle is also very difficult.

In fact, with the deepening of the investigation in the past two days, Ren Kuangshan's videos on the first and second days have been found many times, but it has been a long time, and it is of little use.

Wang Chuanxing understood Jiang Yuan's meaning a little, and asked: "Do you suspect that the criminal didn't ride a motorcycle?"

"Didn't find his traces at all, it's still a bit unexpected." Jiang Yuan paused: "Of course, he may have chosen strange times and routes. As long as he is found once, the remaining traces will be easy to determine, en... you ask the task force, today and yesterday, are there any reports of discovery?"

"Yes." Wang Chuanxing immediately responded, and then asked: "Then are we still watching monitoring?"

Jiang Yuan thought about it, and said: "Where did Ren Kuangshan refuel on the first day, is it not determined yet?"

"No." Wang Chuanxing shook his head: "The task force over there, someone explained that maybe he brought gasoline in advance, or buried gasoline somewhere early, and then went to refuel by himself."

"It's also a possibility." Jiang Yuan didn't deny it, just said: "Whether he rode or not, if he wants to leave the range of Changyang City, the time to find him most easily is still the first day. By the second day, the range is too large."

Jiang Yuan paused and said: "The investigation on the day was too hasty, still have to look back."

The stage with the richest information and the most value is also the first day. The so-called golden 24 hours does not only refer to the investigation within these 24 hours, but also shows the value of evidence at this time.

There are too many gas stations around a city, plus various vehicle card points, or other monitoring videos. It is impossible to finish watching the monitoring of the day on the day of the incident. Time does not allow it.

Even if it is a gas station in a direction, it is impossible for Jiang Yuan to finish watching the whole day's monitoring. A common sense that does not need to be explained, if a single person watches monitoring videos without fast-forwarding, one person can only watch one monitoring a day.

And if you want to add screens or speed up, there will inevitably be a possibility of neglect.

Therefore, most image investigation-related cases hope that the time and place are as accurate as possible. Accurate time and place, solving an image investigation-related case may only take ten minutes, and difficult image investigation cases often consume 2000 hours of man-hours.

Jiang Yuan directly opened temporary +1, and then started trajectory analysis on the computer map.

The investigation of these three days is not without results. Later, Ren Kuangshan's monitoring video was found on some road card points, but no Ren Kuangshan was found at nearby gas stations, which is a bit surprising.

Some people therefore guessed that Ren Kuangshan prepared gasoline in advance, which is not unreasonable.

However, from the perspective of the criminal, the flexibility of doing so is too poor, which is equivalent to having to arrive at a determined location and dig. Gasoline also has a certain volatility, and it won't work if it is too early, and there are restrictions on buying...

Jiang Yuan thought while watching the video.

At this time, in a wide-angle video, Jiang Yuan saw a figure passing by the edge quickly.

"Here, playback." Jiang Yuan immediately stopped it.

The image investigation police officer next to him hurriedly turned the button counterclockwise, and saw the person in the screen also retreat.

The person in the screen couldn't see his face, or even his head, just passed the edge of the wide-angle lens, and the figure was a bit distorted.

Jiang Yuan said without hesitation: "That's him, find all other videos of this gas station!"

He watches videos by gait, and doesn't need to see his face at all.
