Chapter 55: All Roads Lead to Mount Hua

Evening.

The red clouds in the west were shining with red light; the evergreen trees on the side of the road were shaking their green branches; the green radish by the wall was shaking its green leaves.

In the garage.

Under several vehicles that had been disemboweled, human bodies in one-piece suits were crawling.

Du Lei took Jiang Yuan directly to the traffic team.

The Changyang City traffic team was also not worried about funds. A few years ago, they bought 4 standard versions of traffic accident scene investigation equipment and 2 enhanced versions of traffic accident scene investigation equipment in one breath.

Compared with the scattered pieces bought by the crime scene investigation squadron of the criminal police detachment, the equipment in the traffic team's equipment bag was much more complete. Just for extracting physical evidence, there were portable multi-band light sources, biological discovery instruments, ultraviolet digital cameras, portable microscopes, chassis investigation instruments, vehicle EDR data readers, etc.

Comprehensive and professional instruments and equipment are the basis for comprehensive and professional investigation. However, these instruments and equipment also have comprehensive and professional requirements for investigation personnel.

Du Lei took Jiang Yuan over, also wanting him to see and know when to retreat.

Then, he took Jiang Yuan for a walk in the traffic team's garage and said: "How is it? If you really want to dismantle the car, you have to use professional equipment and instruments. Honestly, I am not very familiar with some things here. I have to learn and use them on the spot. In the traffic team, those who can play with the full set are all old masters, unless the detachment captain comes out to invite people, it is possible to invite them."

Jiang Yuan heard Du Lei's meaning, scanned the surroundings again, felt confident in his heart, and said: "I have nothing to do anyway, so I will just stay here and dismantle the car."

"Do you know how to use all these equipment?" Du Lei asked.

"Most of them. Like this portable multi-band light source instrument, finding body fluids, hair, fibers, and glass fragments, dust fingerprints, footprints, etc., is similar to what we use for crime scene investigation. Xenon lamp, 13 bands..." Jiang Yuan said while demonstrating.

The people of the traffic team had been greeted early, and they watched Jiang Yuan's operation skillfully, so they didn't say a word.

Jiang Yuan demonstrated two more pieces of equipment easily, then stopped, and turned to say: "I still have to borrow a trace evidence exploration box. It must have surgical instruments, there must be an X-ray detector, and a trace vacuum cleaner is best..."

Du Lei watched and listened, and gradually, he became calm again, threw his waist, and said: "You don't have anything in your county, and you know everything?"

Jiang Yuan smiled and said: "I learned a little before."

"Alright. I'll let the captain find you a set," Du Lei sighed, then laughed: "If you really find clues through this car, that would be amazing."

Du Lei took out his phone, called back, and asked someone to drag Tan Yong's Pajero directly to the traffic team, and at the same time, asked someone to find the trace evidence exploration box...

"Tracing back to the situation 3 years ago, now we can only find clues through this car, right," Jiang Yuan said naturally.

"Now, we can only find clues through investigation and reasoning."

Liu Jinghui faced the crowd and ordered.

More than 100 criminal police officers and auxiliary police officers, including Wei Zhenguo and Mu Zhiyang, responded loudly and went to investigate more than 100 enterprises, units, and engineering projects related to the Road and Bridge Group.

According to Liu Jinghui's theory, to form an effective corpse abandonment plan, or to have a stable corpse abandonment channel, first of all, there must be a stable channel. Therefore, engineering projects with a short time limit are not the focus of this investigation.

However, what is the real focus, Liu Jinghui actually couldn't say clearly.

He sat in the office, thinking carefully about the materials gathered from all sides, especially the investigation records.

After reading for a while, Liu Jinghui got up again, took a pen, and drew circles on the map on the wall.

There was no one in the office. Liu Jinghui was thinking while muttering to himself:

"Stable corpse abandonment channel, traffic cannot be too bad... not right, after all, the number of times is not too many, En, too bumpy is definitely not okay, no matter how the corpse is packed, there cannot be a risk of leaking out. In this way, too remote mountain roads cannot be walked..."

"Units with unstable business, stopping production at every turn... maybe they are easy to use, but if there are cameras all year round, he probably has to consider it..."

"Can go on the highway, it's best not to pass toll stations, or inspection stations, otherwise, there will always be times when you are caught, but it is not so absolute. If I abandon the corpse, where do I bury it? En... either water or a pit, there must be ready-made things, digging temporarily is too tiring, digging a three-meter pit, I wish the corpse would get up and dig by itself..."

"By the way, he has to go repeatedly, it is likely that he will go during non-working hours, it should be driving his own car..."

Liu Jinghui drew and drew on the map, and got energy again, and went to find it in a pile of records.

Outside his office, criminal police officers came and went, and the number of people was getting smaller and smaller.

By dawn, the office outside was empty, but Liu Jinghui was still energetic.

Especially when he felt that he was getting closer and closer to the truth, his spirit became more excited.

Although tired, he was still excited.

Although excited, he was still tired.

The next day, the criminal police officers were still collecting evidence and interrogating Tan Yong.

Liu Jinghui was still desperately mobilizing his brain, thinking and analyzing possible corpse abandonment locations.

And the places that were thought to be possible to abandon corpses earliest were measured by the criminal police officers with their feet again.

Although there was no result for the time being, Liu Jinghui believed that he was getting closer to the truth step by step.

The busy investigation work lasted for about a week.

Liu Jinghui's meticulous shirt also began to become sloppy.

Fatigue appeared on everyone's face.

Liu Jinghui, who was the main axis, was pickled by coffee and tea, his cheeks were withered, his eyes were swollen, but he finally persisted.

As a criminal police officer, it is common for everyone to stay up for a week to solve a homicide case. Not to mention that they are targeting accumulated cases this time, and it may be a serial homicide case—although the domestic police system will not list serial homicide cases separately like foreign countries and make various character settings for serial killers, if it really appears, it is reasonable to attach high importance to it.

You can see from the number of people in the special task force of the 326 kidnapping and homicide case that with the progress of the case, the superiors are constantly adjusting and adding weight.

Monday.

Another all-member meeting, the conference room has been changed to a large conference room.

Liu Jinghui walked into the conference room with a stack of materials in his hand, full of ambition, and saw seven or eight people in the front row huddled together, discussing something fiercely.

Liu Jinghui was not in a hurry to open the meeting, first made an approachable appearance, smiled and said: "What are you chatting about, chatting so happily? Is there any progress in the case?"

"Jiang Yuan used trace evidence to find a corpse hiding place, it's quite reasonable!" Detachment Captain Yu Wenshu held a report, looking unable to restrain himself.

Liu Jinghui smiled, then smiled again, and kept smiling, walked over: "Let me see." ===== CHAPTER 56 =====
