Chapter 747: Harvest Season

Through the interrogation of Chu Yanqin, Qi Changye dug up six more bodies.

Consequently, the number of bodies involved in this case reached as many as 12, causing quite a sensation even within the Beijing Bureau.

When many people held meetings, they would talk about this "006 Case"—one grade lower than 007, and involving 6 bodies. Now, because 6 more bodies were discovered, some people also called it "two 006s." Two 006s naturally couldn't compare to 007; this was necessary modesty.

Qi Changye's chest gradually straightened, especially as the case was gradually dug deeper, completing the connection and decoupling from the "Half-Ton Case," and praise came one after another.

In this day and age, spy cases that can be actively solved are rare. This case was actively restarted by Qi Changye, and it was under conditions that were not quite ready—with the vehicle delivered to Ningtai County as proof—Qi Changye's initiative was indisputable, and most importantly, of course, the case was perfectly solved.

The perpetrator Chu Yanqin was also an intelligence officer who had received formal training. This kind belonged to the scarce type of prisoner, receiving attention from all sides and... interrogation.

At this step, Qi Changye could be considered to have completely handed the person over.

At the same time, he also handed over his own vehicle.

A brand-new Passat that had only been driven for 7 years and 200,000 kilometers.

"Ai, be careful with the transport, can't it be used in Beijing?" Qi Changye looked reluctant.

"It was you who said your license plates are special and we can't use them..." Huang Qiangmin looked at the Passat locked on the flatbed truck and said with a smile: "If I don't transport it back, how can I use it."

"You can apply for license plates again in Beijing..."

"Too lazy to apply, and no need." Huang Qiangmin said lightly: "Our car usage in Beijing is guaranteed by the Zhengguang Bureau, and raising a car here is expensive, it's too wasteful."

"Ai... the old partner has run quite a few roads with me. When I picked up this car back then, it was used by two deputy directors for less than three years, it was like new!" Qi Changye shook his head and sighed as he spoke.

Huang Qiangmin curled his lips: "I'm afraid your budget this year is not small, buying a brand new one is like playing."

Qi Changye smiled and hurriedly cried poor: "Don't know when there will be any, and a lot of the budget is earmarked for specific purposes..."

Huang Qiangmin waved his hand and turned to ask: "Have all the perpetrators been sent for prosecution?"

"En. Quite a few have signed guilty pleas, Chu Yanqin and her husband might still struggle a bit, the prosecution has requested the death penalty." Qi Changye felt very relaxed when talking about this.

The 12 victims were basically participants in several smuggling channels, including Qi Changye's special informant, who was also disguised as a smuggler, and was discovered to have problems, so he was cut to death in the woods without hesitation.

In the process, victims 1 and 2 were killed by 3, 4, 5, 6, and other participants. Victim 3 was also like this, and victim 4 was also like this.

And the participants in the murders were subsequently the targets Chu Yanqin prioritized for elimination. Among the executors, her husband's figure was often present.

The two of them, one responsible for planning and one responsible for action, cooperated seamlessly. Through this method, Chu Yanqin well concealed her identity and maintained a hidden state for a considerable period of time.

Huang Qiangmin nodded upon hearing this and didn't ask for specific details again. If he asked for more details, Qi Changye probably wouldn't say.

"Alright, then I'm going back." Huang Qiangmin collected the car documents and prepared to leave after saying this.

"Director Huang, Director Huang." Qi Changye hurriedly grasped Huang Qiangmin's hand: "Then the next case..."

"We'll see when the time comes." Huang Qiangmin didn't give a definite answer, turned around, got into a Beijing-plated A6, and left handsomely.

Jiang Yuan also packed the last batch of skeletons into the box.

Compared to normal bodies, skeletonized bodies are easier to store. However, this batch of skeletons had completed identification and would soon be cremated and returned to the families.

Jiang Yuan personally wrote the serial number and pasted it on the box.

After the last serial number was written, a blue ball also flowed out.

Wan Xi's Legacy: Origami (LV2) — Practicing origami was the most painful and happiest process Wan Xi had ever experienced, a bit like the process of raising a child. She herself didn't like origami very much, but hearing experts say that origami can best develop a child's intelligence and can also cultivate a child's concentration, etc., Wan Xi learned it reluctantly. He really wanted to return to his child's side and fold a small boat for her.

Jiang Yuan sighed lightly.

Wan Xi was the real name of Qi Changye's special informant. But this skeleton had been buried for several years, which meant Wan Xi's child had already grown to an age where they didn't like origami.

"Ask Captain Qi, how is the child of this deceased special informant, Wan Xi? If I sponsor him, how should I operate?" Jiang Yuan put away the blue ball and asked Wu Wu Fa Yi Gong beside him.

Wu Wu Fa Yi Gong was the main forensic doctor often used by Qi Changye's brigade. He was in his thirties, and his skills were also quite good. His forensic pathology could be around LV2.5, already a leader among his peers.

Jiang Yuan asking through him was also to have an extra witness.

Wu Wu Fa Yi Gong himself had no opinion. He dialed Qi Changye's phone, spoke a lot first, and then repeated Jiang Yuan's words.

"Adopted by relatives, someone is taking care of him, and there is a scholarship, but life is quite average." Wu Wu Fa Yi Gong listened to Qi Changye's words and relayed them to Jiang Yuan.

Jiang Yuan nodded: "Like this, our Jiang Village sponsors a certain number of students every year, regardless of age. It's no problem for me to add one person. Can you let Captain Qi handle the connection?"

"Good." Wu Wu Fa Yi Gong said hurriedly.

After a while, both sides finally settled the matter.

Ending the call with Qi Changye, Jiang Yuan also breathed a sigh of relief. In this way, this case could be considered officially over.

Swish...

The system screen appeared before Jiang Yuan again.

Task Completed: Wild Goose Leaves a Trace

Task Content: Crimes will not disappear easily, and bodies cannot be buried easily. Find the buried bodies, seek justice for them, and bring peace of mind to the families.

Task Progress: (12/X)

Task Reward: Forensic Sketching (LV6)

Image Investigation - Trajectory Analysis (LV6)

Seeing these two skills as rewards, Jiang Yuan couldn't help but be stunned.

This was a task Xu Taining took when doing screening. Jiang Yuan found two bodies buried underground at that time and obtained the skill of Forensic Sketching (LV2). Unexpectedly, this task was still accumulating.

After the Forensic Sketching skill level reached LV6, it directly gave the next skill, Image Investigation - Trajectory Analysis, which also reached LV6 in one go.

Any skill that can reach LV6 is a semi-divine skill.

Jiang Yuan didn't feel tired at this time. He rubbed his face and asked the shepherd beside him: Where are my biologists? ===== CHAPTER 748 =====
