Chapter 822: Key Point

Early morning.

A group of people drove more than a hundred kilometers and arrived at Yueyang Village.

Some police officers were responsible for finding all the surveillance videos they could find, and then sending them back to the Criminal Investigation Detachment by car. The rest of the people continued to look for surveillance, call people, and then take surveillance. Some followed Jiang Yuan to re-examine the crime scene.

Now it can basically be determined that this case is a normal criminal case containing luck, so Liu Jinghui did not give extra instructions to increase manpower, but waited in the office of the Map Investigation Detachment after eating.

Occasionally, Liu Jinghui would also be willing to go to the crime scene to take a look. This helps him build a criminal conception. But this time the crime scene was also carefully investigated. Jiang Yuan's second investigation really had no tricks, or rather, things Jiang Yuan might see, Liu Jinghui absolutely couldn't see, so he didn't join in the fun.

The night was deep.

There were more and more people in the office of the Map Investigation Detachment.

The criminal police of the Map Investigation Detachment were also called over temporarily. For criminal police of the Map Investigation Detachment at this level, this is also a relatively rare situation. Usually, overtime work only appears in major cases, and cases where leaders' friends lose their bags. In normal times, the higher the level of the unit, the more standardized the work and rest. At the detachment level, basically, they can all do normal work.

Unless, it is when a super expert like Jiang Yuan participates in the investigation of the case. When the first batch of surveillance videos was taken back, Yu Wenshu had already rushed over, and other police officers were even more so.

The so-called physical practice is not to look at how leaders say when holding meetings, but to look at how they do below. If the leader likes to chat with beautiful female subordinates, then the opportunities for beautiful male subordinates will be... sought from the intermediary identity... If the leader usually respects a certain technician very much, then subordinates will think more when they wear small shoes.

Yu Wenshu spent so much money on Jiang Yuan, and also seconded so many elite police officers to Jiang Yuan's cold case task force. This investment is painful for any detachment, which in itself can explain Yu Wenshu's choice.

2 AM. Jiang Yuan returned to Changyang City and went straight to the Map Investigation Detachment.

He took two naps in the car back and forth, and his spirit was still okay at this time. He entered the office, drank two sips of water, and said: "Li Yanmin's residence, it cannot be ruled out that it is the primary scene."

This sentence sounds no different from the previous judgment, but in fact, there is a difference. The police officers present all understand that "cannot be ruled out" is the black talk of technical police, slightly translated, it is possible, but I cannot find evidence.

It sounds a bit unreasonable, but in fact, evidence itself is a high requirement, which is a requirement made by the public to the police based on the need to protect themselves, and is not the only standard.

Breaking a case without evidence will certainly lead to the formation of unjust, false, and wrong cases. But police officers who are human beings cannot only make judgments based on evidence.

This is like a student who has listened to a semester of classes, even if he cannot find unquestionable evidence, he can still make an easy judgment: XX is a fool!

Or a workplace person, maybe only need one week, can point out without any evidence: except for XX and XXX, the rest are pure fools!

Liu Jinghui was excited when he heard that there was no evidence, and said: "Tell me in detail."

Yu Wenshu, Ma Jiyang, and others also sat up straight to listen.

Jiang Yuan pondered the language and said: "Judging from the scene investigation, the bedroom where the victim lived, it is likely that there was a carpet, laid by the bed. Because the marks on the ground are not too uniform. I guess that Li Yanmin fell on the carpet after receiving a blow, and the murderer rolled it up and took it away as a whole."

Jiang Yuan said here, and spread his hands again, and said: "But there is no way to determine this point. The time interval is too long, and the sunshine time in his room is quite sufficient."

"Is there any fiber evidence on the victim?" Liu Jinghui is also an expert.

"If it is a wool carpet, it cannot be preserved in the reed marsh." Jiang Yuan said: "For such a long time, it basically decomposed. Natural polymer fibers like wool are easy to decompose in a humid and hot environment, plus it rained intermittently for several days, and the residual wool is also easy to be washed away."

"Wool carpets are not cheap, and the result is that the more expensive the material, the more useless it is." Ma Jiyang couldn't help but sigh.

Mu Zhiyang answered on his behalf: "Maybe the person who bought the wool carpet didn't plan to die on the carpet."

Ma Jiyang gave a thumbs up: "What you said is quite reasonable."

"Another key point." Jiang Yuan emphasized, and said: "Although there was a carpet in Li Yanmin's bedroom, whether there was a carpet before he died, no one knows. Li Yanmin himself had very little contact with relatives, and the few female friends he talked about almost didn't develop into girlfriends."

"Then how does he solve his physiological problems." Liu Jinghui immediately noticed this key problem.

Jiang Yuan was stunned for a moment, recalled the scene slightly, and said: "I didn't see anything for self-use, but there were two boxes of condoms. Solve it yourself?"

"Maybe there is some secret old lover?" Liu Jinghui didn't know what he thought of, smiled, and then became serious, and said: "Adultery is close to killing, gambling is close to stealing. He can't be killed for no reason. If it is adultery, it is easy to explain."

"The meaning of adultery is that the woman is a married woman. Is it so exciting? Don't look for a girlfriend yourself, look for someone else's?" Wang Chuanxing thought it was exciting.

"Maybe it's true love?" Mu Zhiyang countered him.

"True love should be divorced. What era is this? Divorce is nothing great."

Liu Jinghui "hummed" and said: "Maybe it's the wife of a brother or uncle? Is Emperor Xuanzong of Tang so easy to be?"

"Can it still be like this?" Wang Chuanxing wanted to say he didn't understand, but the example of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang came out, and there was nothing he didn't understand, just full of incomprehensible sudden realization.

"Therefore, don't think that there are only trivial things in the village. That is because you don't understand the things in the village deeply enough. If you understand it deeply enough, you will know that there are life-and-death hatreds in the village because of trivial things, as well as humiliating fathers and seizing land, poisoning brothers and plotting against sisters-in-law, bullying mothers and teasing sisters." Liu Jinghui also opened up the horizons for young police officers, saying it was just a taste.

After relaxing, Liu Jinghui said: "Of course, this case, from acquaintance committing the crime to stranger committing the crime, now it seems that it is likely to return to acquaintance committing the crime. At present, we can only look at the surveillance video first, and wait until tomorrow morning to visit the villagers to ask, to see if there is such a situation."

"Then start watching the surveillance." Jiang Yuan held a pot of ginseng tea and sat behind the display wall, letting the police officers of the Map Investigation Detachment operate.

Jiang's father occasionally studies health preservation problems. When he called Jiang Yuan at dinner, he knew he was working overtime today, so he immediately called the tea shop familiar to Changyang City and had ginseng tea boiled and sent over.

Jiang Yuan naturally wouldn't refuse, so he drank ginseng tea while waiting to watch the surveillance video.

The surveillance videos collected in the village are even more uneven in quality, not to mention how clear they are, and many surveillance cameras are not installed in appropriate positions at all, and some cannot even capture the license plate.

The Map Investigation Detachment also has corresponding software to read these videos, especially the vehicle-related video surveillance recordings, which already have relatively mature solutions. Common ones include identifying stolen vehicles, vehicles without license plates, or vehicles with license plates covered.

In addition, vehicle trajectories are also one of the criteria for judgment. For example, some vehicles suddenly slow down, or detour in a certain place, or pass through a certain intersection multiple times, etc. These are relatively difficult to find when watching manually, but if read by software, a list of suspicious vehicles can be listed in a short time.

Jiang Yuan also prioritizes watching these suspicious vehicles. After watching, he filters out a few suspicious vehicles, records them on the side, and then carefully watches the vehicles in the afternoon.

He now has a clearer estimate of the time of death, but he didn't say it, because the death situation of this body is too complex, and the accuracy of the estimate is at most 70%, but this does not prevent Jiang Yuan from first investing more attention in this time period.

Suck...

Slip...

Jiang Yuan drank ginseng tea and recorded the license plate numbers of suspicious vehicles from time to time. There are many reasons for suspicion, including but not limited to the direction of the vehicle, the type of vehicle, the number of people in the vehicle, etc.

And the license plates he recorded reached as many as a hundred. When it was dawn, the police would follow this list and visit these car owners again.

If there is no result in this visit, maybe Xu Taining will have to be called to fight. ===== CHAPTER 823 =====
