Chapter 139: Shisui's Birthday

"It's Friday!" Obito enthusiastically answered the question.

"Tomorrow is Thursday, and Teacher Muyue probably isn't asking what day of the week it is." Rin Nohara corrected.

She thought Muyue wasn't the type to forget what day it was and have to ask students; besides, asking the day of the week wouldn't require calling three people.

"I've been using Shadow Clones to go to school lately, so I haven't been paying attention to the date. So today is still Wednesday." Obito chuckled and scratched his head in explanation.

"Is it the day for a barbecue restaurant discount? Or a teacher's anniversary?" Obito continued guessing.

"Probably not, we haven't even learned the Breathing Method yet, and Shisui doesn't seem to be here." Obito noticed a problem.

"Tomorrow is Shisui's birthday." Muyue stopped being mysterious and said directly.

"I intentionally didn't call Shisui here. We'll give him a surprise tomorrow." Muyue explained with a smile.

Being straightforward was fine, but Muyue felt that a sudden surprise would yield more; extreme emotions might trigger an unprecedented critical hit, unlocking a skill of Mastery level or above.

"So it's Shisui's birthday." Obito looked as if he understood.

"It's tomorrow? Why didn't he tell us earlier?" Obito scratched his head in confusion.

He felt that starting preparations tonight might already be too late.

"Maybe he didn't want to bother others." Rin Nohara said after thinking.

She had joined later and hadn't known Shisui as long as Might Guy and Obito, but it had been about two months.

Shisui gave her the impression of someone who silently did everything himself and didn't like to trouble others.

Both he and Shisui were from the Uchiha clan and lived in the Uchiha compound; their homes were actually not far apart.

"Then it's settled. Tomorrow, everyone act normal during training, then take time to decorate the room, and finally give Shisui a surprise when he returns home at night." Muyue said after thinking.

The disciples all nodded.

After the discussion, everyone went home.

The next day, Shisui got up as usual, finished washing up, and first used a Shadow Clone to go to school.

Then Shisui went to Obito's house to call him for training.

"Goodbye, Grandma." Obito said goodbye to his grandmother while quickly heading to the entrance to change shoes and leave.

"Take good care of Shisui, he's younger than you." Grandma reminded.

After Shisui came to find Obito a few times, Obito's grandmother also got to know Shisui.

"Obito, which place do you want to eat at? We'll go there." Shisui replied.
