Chapter 521: Some Words

Some words I want to say.

First of all, there will be updates to the main story today, but a bit later. Xiaoju suggests reading it tomorrow, as staying up late is bad for health.

I originally planned to write this in the author's notes, but it's too long, so I'll just post a standalone chapter.

How should I put it? Writing this side story was a bit harder than I imagined.

On one hand, it's due to personal reasons from my irregular sleep schedule.

On the other hand, it's the difficulty of creation itself.

This plot is set too close to the timeline of Naruto's Dragon Vein mission. The things the protagonist gave to Naruto Uzumaki aren't enough to change things around him, meaning the plot is essentially the same as the original.

But as a fanfic author, directly serving up the original content for payment would be in poor taste, so I must write something different.

So Xiaoju even put some late-stage settings from the outline into Naruto's side story, like breathing techniques to guide natural energy and such.

The battles were also a painful focus. They had to be different yet reasonable, really tormenting Xiaoju.

Most importantly, Xiaoju couldn't write the original dialogue. Writing it would make it seem padded, but not writing it would make it feel disjointed, so I had to find ways to patch and simplify.

But thankfully, it's finally finished (no need to be tormented for a short time, hurray!).

Xiaoju's original idea was to write a side story once every one or two months, until the side story's Naruto world and Muyue's world intersect again.

As for how and why the intersection happens, everyone can guess. Anyway, the plot at that time will be very interesting, with something like Obito fighting Obito.

However, this time I'm really quite exhausted, and I don't know how you guys feel about the side story content.

So Xiaoju will decide whether to continue writing this storyline based on the reception of this side story.

If everyone thinks it's okay and wants to see the continuation, then I'll write it when I have time. If you think it's not good, then I won't write it in the future (of course, the intersection plot will still happen, because in a sense it's part of the main storyline).
