Chapter 65: Who Reviews?

~8 min read 1,445 words

Monday, because the exam day had arrived, Gang Zitie didn't go to the Ninja School too early.

He had been reviewing for two weeks, so there was no need to fight for an extra ten or twenty minutes in the morning.

On the way, Gang Zitie met Shinagetsu Izumo, who was also heading to school.

"Izumo, good morning." Gang Zitie greeted with a brilliant smile.

"Good morning, Zitie." Shinagetsu Izumo saw his good buddy and responded with a smile.

"How was your weekend? Did you spend both days reviewing?" Gang Zitie asked amiably.

"Reviewing? Reviewing my ass!" Shinagetsu Izumo laughed heartily.

Shinagetsu Izumo asked, "Are you reviewing?"

"I'm not reviewing." Gang Zitie shook his head and said, "What decent person reviews before an exam?"

"Can a last-minute review yield true ability?" Shinagetsu Izumo nodded in agreement.

They exchanged a glance and then both burst into laughter.

"Sugoroku is so much fun. After the exam, Zitie, you have to try it." Shinagetsu Izumo said like a hardcore game enthusiast.

In his mind, however, he was thinking: This is definitely solid. Gang Zitie probably really didn't review; his only rival left is Shisui.

"I'll give it a try when I have time. The novels I've been reading recently are really good too. Izumo, you should check them out when you have time." Gang Zitie smiled and recommended some novels to Shinagetsu Izumo, as if he had actually read them.

"Should be stable. Izumo really didn't review and kept playing games. My only opponent in this exam is Shisui." Gang Zitie thought to himself.

"Haha, I'll definitely read them when I have time." Shinagetsu Izumo replied cheerfully, in a very good mood.

"What are you two chatting about so happily?" Hongdou appeared from behind and patted both their shoulders.

"Just talking about how we spent the weekend." Gang Zitie explained with a smile.

"Spent? Did you two not review at all?" Hongdou asked.

"Of course. Did you, Hongdou, spend the whole two days reviewing?" Shinagetsu Izumo asked with a surprised look.

"Not exactly. I just reviewed for one day yesterday." Hongdou said thoughtfully.

In fact, she had only read for half an hour on Sunday evening, but Shinagetsu Izumo's question made her claim two days of review. Hongdou felt saying half an hour would be embarrassing, so she lied outright and said one day.

"Oh, one day of review? That's pretty good." Gang Zitie said with a smile.

Just one day couldn't pose any threat to him, who had been reviewing for half a month. In fact, Gang Zitie felt Hongdou had reviewed too little; she should have reviewed the last two days.

"If you get good results and get rewarded by your family, don't forget your buddies." Shinagetsu Izumo joked with a laugh.

"Hehe, for the sake of your games and novels, I guess that's fine." Hongdou was in a good mood.

Then, chatting and laughing, the three of them walked together to the Ninja School and entered the classroom, waiting for the exam to begin.

Soon, Muyue and Ueda Aya walked into Class 1-1. This time, Muyue had drawn his own class to proctor.

"Teacher Muyue!"

The students in the class greeted Muyue one after another, and Muyue smiled back.

"Teacher Muyue, are you the one proctoring this time?" Gang Zitie asked.

Muyue nodded to confirm.

"Teacher Muyue, if there's a question we don't know, can we ask you?" Hongdou asked knowingly.

Tap!

Muyue pressed two fingers together and tapped Hongdou's little head, saying, "You can ask, but the answer will be this."

"Ouch." Hongdou covered the spot where she was tapped and immediately behaved.

"Everyone, check to make sure you have your exam tools. The exam will begin in ten minutes." Muyue reminded.

Some cautious students, upon hearing Muyue's reminder, began to check.

"Teacher Muyue, you are so popular among the students." Ueda Aya remarked.

She had just noticed that almost all the students greeted Muyue.

This is a rare situation, after all, in a class of forty, there are always some introverted or quiet students.

Moreover, some might think that since so many people are greeting, their own greeting won't get noticed, so they don't speak either.

"After all, I am their homeroom teacher." Mu Yue replied.

After ten minutes, Mu Yue announced the start of the theory exam, and then distributed the test papers together with Ueda Aya.

The students of Class 1-1 also showed Mu Yue respect; no one spoke during the entire exam, all quietly working on the questions.

Mu Yue and Ueda Aya took turns patrolling.

While patrolling, Ueda Aya curiously glanced at the students who were doing the questions. This kind of quiet atmosphere was quite rare.

Probably because it's a ninja school, the students are more lively.

After looking, Ueda Aya was somewhat surprised. She casually looked at a few people and felt that at a glance, the answers were all correct.

"Teacher Mu Yue, your class's average score in this exam is probably going to lead the grade again." Ueda Aya whispered to Mu Yue what she had just seen.

"It's hard to say before the results come out. Maybe the other classes' results are also good." Mu Yue responded in a low voice.

Although the good results were a fact, Mu Yue felt it was better to keep a low profile.

When the exam ended and the papers were collected, the atmosphere in Class 1-1 changed.

"It's finally over." Gangstetsu revealed a relieved smile.

Having to study seriously every day and also find ways to keep Kamizuki Izumo from studying was quite tiring for him.

"Yeah, after the practical exam, it's the long holiday." Kamizuki Izumo also said with a relaxed smile.

With the theory exam over, he no longer had to act every day to find ways to stop Gangstetsu from reviewing.

"Shitetsu, Izumo, how do you think you did?" Anko came over and asked.

"So-so. This exam felt quite difficult." Gangstetsu sighed and said.

"Yeah, there were many questions I had no clue about; I just wrote randomly. I don't know how many points I'll get." Kamizuki Izumo wore a worried expression.

"Huh? Difficult? I thought it was pretty easy. Could yesterday's review have helped?" Anko scratched her head, feeling like she had seen this scene somewhere before.

"Shisui, how do you think you did?" Anko asked Shisui, who was about to leave.

"So-so." Shisui paused his steps and replied.

He felt it was about the same as the last exam, nothing much to say.

"Why am I the only one who thinks it was easy? Could I have done really well?" Anko felt that the reward dumplings were getting closer and closer.

"Tomorrow is the practical exam. Everyone, make sure to perform well. Let that female proctor see our ninjutsu level." Anko remembered their plan from long ago to get their taijutsu teacher dismissed.

"Definitely. This time we will definitely make the school replace the teacher with a reliable taijutsu instructor." Gangstetsu nodded.

"Actually, I think it would be great if Teacher Mu Yue taught us, but that would be too tiring for her, having to teach so many classes." Kamizuki Izumo said regretfully.

The other students also chimed in, saying they would definitely give 120% effort and perform well tomorrow.

Brothers, don't hold back on reading from Sunday to Tuesday. Life or death depends on these few days.

"Child, do you know what this is?"

Thanos raised his golden gauntlet, the six Infinity Stones glittering with radiant light: "With a snap of my fingers, you will turn to dust in the wind."

"Dad doesn't believe it."

Fang Mo, wearing the full Infinity set, slowly shook his head, his cosmic longsword pointing directly at Thanos's shiny purple head: "Today, even if it's not the Infinity Stones, even the Heart of the Universe can't save your dog's life!"

"Do you know what this is? This is a Truth-Seeking Ball!"

Uchiha Madara stood in midair, laughing wildly: "It is the strongest spear and the strongest shield; there is nothing it cannot destroy!"

"You really haven't seen anything hard..." Fang Mo grinned and pulled out a piece of bedrock: "Dare to compare with it!?"

"Is this... the Philosopher's Stone?"

Edward stared blankly at the red crystal before him: "Can it ignore the law of equivalent exchange?"

"Uh, in a sense, it's only the basis of equivalent exchange."

Fang Mo touched the portable conversion table in his hand: "But if you want, I could consider giving you a set."

When the Fourth Calamity meets the Mysterious Island mod, this Block People finally begins to wreak havoc on the myriad worlds.
