Chapter 1944: A Bird Startled by the Bow

"Retreat toward the southeast!"

The Spain commander shouted urgently.

But due to the chaos on the battlefield now, his orders could no longer be conveyed to all the Spain soldiers.

Only the Spain soldiers guarding his side received the order, and they also discovered the position to the southeast, where the Longyan Unit forces were weak.

Breaking out in that direction was the easiest.

The Cavalry unit guarding beside the Spain commander charged in unison toward the southeast.

The Spain Cavalry unit was still equipped with cold weapons, mostly Long Spear, but such cavalry could already exert great combat power when charging inside the jungle.

And as the Spain Cavalry unit charged, the Spain soldiers who noticed them breaking out also charged out following them.

Very quickly, a gap was torn open in the southeast, and the majority of the Spain forces fled toward the southeast.

Inside Yun City, Qin Zhangfeng sat in the command room built on the city wall.

"Reporting to the General, the Spain forces are fleeing toward the southeast!"

Qin Zhangfeng opened his eyes, his expression calm; he stood up and came to the outside of the command room, looking at the river channel outside Yun City that had been excavated for the construction of the Panama Canal.

And on both banks of this river channel were dense jungles.

At this moment, the Spain forces were traveling through these jungles.

After the fleeing Spain forces did not know how long they had been chased by the Longyan Unit, they finally stopped at a certain place in the jungle.

He was panting from exhaustion, and looking at the Longyan Unit that had long been shaken off in the distance, he laughed wildly!

"Hahaha, the Longyan Unit is nothing more than this; if they had set an ambush for us in this place, our Spain forces would definitely have been completely wiped out!"

His adjutant said: "General, be careful with your words; there are not many of our forces who escaped."

"If we encounter an ambush by the Longyan Unit here again, it will be dire!"

The Spain commander gave a cold laugh and said: "What is there to fear? We control the supplies for the entire army; our troops will rally to us wherever we are!"

Just at this moment, an unusual movement came from the jungle.

The Spain soldiers, who had just experienced a pursuit battle, were mentally tense and immediately picked up the weapons in their hands.

The Spain commander vaulted onto his horse, extremely nervous.

Just at this moment, a squad of the Longyan Unit emerged from the jungle.

Frightened, the Spain soldiers got up and ran.

The Spain commander, who had just been boasting, even more so whipped his horse.
