Chapter 259: The Second Transmigrator

"Xuan Lao, the only thing to do right now is to discuss this with the Three Great Empires. If we rashly sign this contract, I fear it will drag Shrek's reputation through the mud!"

"Let us discuss this matter later. This time, because our Star Luo Empire's initial attitude was too rigid during the negotiations, the compensation demanded by the Sun Moon Empire has nearly doubled. If we refuse again, I fear the title of 'sinner' will fall upon us at Shrek. Let us consult with them beforehand; otherwise, when that time comes, we will at least have some room to maneuver." Xuan Lao looked at the group and spoke slowly.

Fan Yu thought for a moment and said, "Xuan Lao, I have a proposal. How about..."

"Don't overthink it. Unless you believe you can also manage to scheme against the Three Great Empires and trap all their elites in Mingdu, do not think of other methods. That fellow's methods have completely surpassed all the means we currently possess." Xuan Lao interrupted Fan Yu without mercy.

Saving people is impossible. That brat caught all the big fish of the Three Great Empires in one net; how could he be so careless?

If that were truly the case, the Three Great Empires would not have been completely wiped out.

Aside from a Title Douluo, who could possibly retreat from the hands of the Sun Moon Empire's two great Soul Engineer Legions?

"Xuan Lao, I hope that Su Yu will go to the next negotiation, but at the same time, I also hope that the Star Luo Empire will formally apologize to the Su Family and lift their control over the Su Family. Otherwise, as things stand, it is highly likely that Su Yu's future path will not lie with the Three Great Empires, but with the Sun Moon Empire." Bei Bei scanned the group and spoke.

"You mean to say that Su Yu is also half a person of the Sun Moon Empire, right?" Xian Lin'er looked at Bei Bei and replied.

"Su Yu's father was once a student at the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Engineering Academy and later studied at Shrek for a period of time. Su Yu's mother is a pure Sun Moon Empire native and was even a student of Hall Master Jing Hongchen back then. Previously, the Sun Moon Empire side tried to recruit Su Yu many times, but Su Yu neither explicitly refused nor gave a clear answer. However, during the last graduation assessment incident, Su Yu explicitly rejected the Star Luo Empire's envoy and made his stance clear to Xuan Lao: if his graduation assessment—joining the Sun Moon Empire military for training—could not be changed, he would voluntarily withdraw from Shrek."

Although the various elders of the Sea God Pavilion had heard of these reports, when combined with the current situation, a sense of foreboding suddenly rose in their hearts.

Everything was developing in a direction they themselves feared. If it weren't for the fact that Wang Dong'er was still in the Three Great Empires, Su Yu would likely have already joined the Sun Moon Empire and gone to war against the Three Great Empires alongside Luo Yu!

Luo Yu's schemes and intelligence, combined with Su Yu's analytical ability and immense potential—once these two cooperated, it would be a devastating catastrophe for the Three Great Empires!

Terrifying, simply too terrifying!

"Su Yu's whereabouts are still unknown. I think if the Star Luo Empire does not make a statement soon, then what I mentioned is only a matter of time. Even if Wang Dong'er is still in the Three Great Empires, it cannot change the outcome. Moreover, with the Clear Sky Sect remaining in seclusion, as long as they do not intervene in the affairs of the Three Great Empires, I believe the first to fall in the future will be the Star Luo Empire!"

Bei Bei's words caused chaos in the Sea God Pavilion. They had never imagined that a student who came out of the Shrek Inner Court could possibly defect to the Sun Moon Empire!

…………

This meeting lasted for a long time. When it ended, it was already late at night.

As night fell, members of the Star Luo Empire's royal family were immediately invited into Shrek Academy, and envoys from the other two empires were also dispatched into Shrek.

This was a secret meeting known only to the members of the Sea God Pavilion. The content of the meeting involved many aspects, and it would be difficult for the three parties to reach a consensus in the short term, unless one person returned.

…………

"Where is this?" A Shrek student slowly woke up from the dormitory, looking around in a daze.

Damn it, how did I transmigrate to the Douluo Continent?

What the hell? How could such an absurd thing happen!!!

Luo Jing, a person from Blue Star, died suddenly at home from overworking while playing games late at night. After waking up, he had transmigrated into the body of a Shrek student.

"Born into a noble family of the Star Luo Empire, a first-born son, currently at Level 60 soul power, preparing to obtain a sixth soul ring. Not long ago, the second All-Continent Advanced Soul Master Elite Tournament just ended. Currently, all the elites of the Three Great Empires have fallen in Mingdu, captured alive by a guy named Luo Yu who led the Mingdu Soul Engineer Legion. Only all the members of Shrek, under the leadership of Su Yu, successfully retreated..."

"I'm screwed!"

Luo Jing, whose soul had been swapped, slapped his head hard and sighed in confusion as he looked at the dormitory before him.

Transmigrating to the Douluo Continent is one thing, but transmigrating to the wrong point in time, and into the body of a background character, is another.

That makes the problem huge!

He hadn't escaped the books of "San" at that age; in fact, he was quite young then and not very picky about books, so he had basically finished the entire Douluo series.

Familiar with the plot of Dou II, Luo Jing naturally knew that the current plot seemed to have deviated.

"Let me sort this out first. In the main plot of Dou II, there shouldn't be a person named Su Yu, and there shouldn't be a person named Luo Yu either. Based on the information I have now, these two guys are both not quite right. From the moment he enrolled, Huo Yu Hao had a very good relationship with Su Yu, and Su Yu even participated in the first tournament."

"In the end of the first tournament, Su Yu and Wang Dong'er used a Martial Soul Fusion Skill, which means Su Yu might be a transmigrator. But the problem with the current situation is, if he is a transmigrator, why does Huo Yu Hao still have Twin Martial Souls? Logically, he should have intercepted Huo Yu Hao's opportunities early on; why would he leave such a massive cheat unused?"

"This doesn't make sense, right?"

In Luo Jing's analysis, if Su Yu were truly a transmigrator, he couldn't possibly have let go of the Ice Empress, the Tian Meng Iceworm, and Electrolux. But these things were all bound together. On this point, he remained skeptical about whether Su Yu was a transmigrator.

"But this Luo Yu appeared very suddenly. A genius Soul Engineer who suddenly appeared in the Sun Moon Empire and eventually won the championship of the second tournament. Even his teammates were not the original ones, and he was even able to see through the Three Great Empires' plans, capture all their people alive, and then negotiate terms with them. He could even force the Title Douluo of the Three Great Empires to retreat from Mingdu?"

"Isn't this too fake?"

Just as Luo Jing was still analyzing, his vision gradually plunged into darkness, and even his own consciousness began to blur.

Bang!

A soft sound echoed from his Spirit Sea, and Luo Jing suddenly felt his spirit sinking into a bottomless vortex.

A glimmer of golden light flashed and vanished in Su Yu's eyes.

Whoosh...

The sound of a violent, ear-piercing gale startled Luo Jing awake. Looking at the familiar place before him, Luo Jing couldn't help but exclaim, "Th-this, why does this place look so much like Blue Star?"

Blue Star...

Looking at the scene before him, if he hadn't just received the original owner's memories, Luo Jing really wouldn't have doubted that he was dreaming.

"Awake?" A voice followed. Ever since this voice sounded, everything he had seen before vanished with a boom.

In this blank world, a huge cloud emerged. The cloud parted slightly, revealing a familiar figure.

Subsequently, an invisible suction force emerged, drawing Su Yu's consciousness back into the cloud.

In an instant, Luo Jing's consciousness fell into a time regression.

It is unknown how much time passed before Luo Jing woke up again. This was a space shimmering with various colors. Before his eyes, that phantom condensed into a human shape. The face of this human shape gradually became clear, finally turning into the face he had back on Blue Star.

"Who are you? Why do you look exactly like me from Blue Star?" Luo Jing was stunned. Today, the bizarre events were becoming more frequent one after another.

The other Luo Jing nodded and said, "Congratulations, you guessed wrong."

"Wait, let me calm down first. I admit I'm a transmigrator, but don't you think things right now are a bit too fake?" Luo Jing tried his best to stabilize his complex emotions; he was afraid that the string tightened in his brain would suddenly snap with a 'pop'.

"Congratulations. As the second transmigrator of this Douluo Continent II: Peerless Tang Sect, you will receive all the gifts that the first transmigrator did not get. Would you like to accept them?" the Blue Star version of Luo Jing asked mechanically.

Wait, the second transmigrator—that means one of those two guys must be a transmigrator?

"Accept, of course I accept!" Luo Jing chose to accept without hesitation.

The first transmigrator clearly didn't have his kind of fortune. Although he transmigrated a bit late, his hope of rising was definitely greater than that guy's.

"Newbie gift package has been issued. First gift: self-selected Second Martial Soul. Second gift: 50,000-year Soul Ring. Third gift: Peerless Tang Sect's Strongest Battle Power System!"

The three gifts instantly appeared before Luo Jing. Luo Jing chose to use them without hesitation. For his Second Martial Soul, he decisively chose the Blue Silver Emperor; as the martial soul of the Great Buddha Tang, it would definitely not be weak.

After binding to the Peerless Tang Sect strongest martial soul system, he immediately asked the system: "After binding to the system, do I have any special permissions?"

"You may ask two questions," the system replied coldly.

"Can I ask any question?" Luo Jing asked.

"Of course."

Luo Jing thought for a moment and asked: "The first question, between Su Yu and Luo Yu, which one is the transmigrator?"

The reason Luo Jing asked this was because the system had told him he was the second transmigrator, so only one of Su Yu or Luo Yu could be a transmigrator.

"Su Yu," the system replied, still coldly.

"The second question, how can I leave the Douluo Continent, return to Blue Star, or head to the myriad worlds?" Luo Jing thought for a moment and continued to ask.

"Occupy the God Realm, kill the first transmigrator!"

Kill Su Yu?

That's not very good, we are both fellow countrymen from Blue Star, this isn't very good!

That is my beloved clansman, a fellow brother from within the four seas!

You'll have to pay more!

"This system reminds the host one last time: once the host knows the identity of the first transmigrator, the first transmigrator will also learn of the arrival of the second transmigrator. If you cannot kill the first transmigrator, once the first transmigrator occupies the God Realm, the host's mission will fail and you will be immediately erased!"

As soon as the voice fell, Luo Jing immediately returned to reality. Looking at the familiar space around him and his own second martial soul, the Blue Silver Emperor, he knew he was not dreaming!

"One hundred victories in one hundred battles, accumulate one hundred victories in the Soul Fighting Arena within ten days. Mission complete: soul power increases by one level, all soul ring ages increase by ten years. Mission failed: soul power decreases by one level, all soul ring ages decrease by twenty years."

Holy crap, I...!

Luo Jing couldn't help but exclaim "holy crap." He truly hadn't expected the first mission to come so quickly. However, the rewards were also very rich, worth trying for!

Without further ado, he must seize the time to improve his strength now.

…………

"Kid, we meet again."

While Su Yu was still meditating, Su Yu appeared once again in that familiar space. Looking at the Blue Star version of himself before him, he had an ominous premonition, and facts proved that his premonition was correct.

"Why, what kind of trick are you trying to pull again?" Ever since knowing that the guy in front of him seemed to be a higher-level existence, Su Yu had no hope of resisting.

"Although I didn't expect us to meet so soon, your game has been going a bit too smoothly. If it really stays that way, I fear that in a short time, you will soon end your journey on the Douluo Continent. So, I have increased the difficulty of your game. When you truly defeat Tang San, I will answer all your questions." The Blue Star version of Su Yu spoke in a calm tone, as if he were talking about something he didn't care about at all.

"So, what do you want to tell me?"

Su Yu had already prepared for the worst. He didn't know what he would encounter in the future, but ever since hearing that the person in front of him was that "He" in his mind, Su Yu let it go.

"The second transmigrator of Blue Star has arrived. He knows of your existence, and he even knows who you are." He spoke very slowly, but the content made Su Yu break out in a cold sweat.

"How is there a second transmigrator?" Su Yu widened her eyes; she knew what having a second transmigrator would mean.

"That is all I can tell you. Enjoy your journey well; I hope we can meet again at the end of this journey."

The image dissipated, and Su Yu's consciousness returned to reality.

The second transmigrator had arrived, and his existence had been discovered by him. Without a doubt, he had become the prey.

And the hunter might exist right around him!

Then, who exactly is he?

Would his clones be exposed, and would his past also be leaked?

Thinking about it carefully, it was unlikely that all of this would happen, and even if that person knew all of this, so what?

Because he couldn't produce any evidence!
