Chapter 1201: Disagreement, announcing withdrawal!

As for what happened backstage, only a few staff members backstage knew.

However, the staff working front-of-house were unaware of the series of events that took place backstage.

Fatty had been chattering in Qin Mu's ear the whole time, guessing how this matter should be handled.

After all, Fatty and the others already knew that several trainees had been called away by the director, but no one knew exactly what had happened backstage.

Fatty was extremely curious, so he kept staying by Qin Mu's side, speculating with him.

Qin Mu, however, had his mind entirely on the stage; how the director dealt with it was no longer important. What was important was that Qin Mu knew the C-class trainees this time had failed miserably, even lifting a rock only to drop it on their own feet.

And without regard for their own reputation, they had run onto the stage and made such a shameful spectacle of themselves.

Thinking about it now, it really was an interesting affair.

"Brother Qin, I heard the director has already called the C-class trainees to the 07 backstage area. Moreover, I heard from the staff backstage that the director was furious over there, but he didn't tell me exactly what was said. You tell me, what do you think the director has decided regarding the punishment for the C-class trainees this time? I feel the punishment this time should be very severe, because our production team has been in the spotlight ever since the show started. Now, to have such a thing happen so inexplicably is truly shocking and very disappointing. Although we managed to save some ratings in terms of filming, with the matter blown up this big, I'm afraid the director absolutely won't let them off easily."

Fatty leaned in toward Qin Mu, very curious, and said to him.

At this moment, the trainees on stage were still performing.

Qin Mu's gaze remained fixed on the stage, adjusting the lighting and camera angles at any moment.

When he heard Fatty say this, he merely twitched the corner of his mouth and gave a cold smile, which vanished quickly; such an indifferent expression seemed as if it had never appeared on his face at all.

Fatty, not having his eyes fixed entirely on Qin Mu's face, did not see Qin Mu's anomaly.

"There are only two possible outcomes for the handling of this matter. One is that the production team compromises on the mistakes made by each trainee, and when the time comes, the production team takes all the blame for the mistakes made by every trainee upon themselves—apologizing where necessary, clarifying on Weibo where necessary. But thinking about it now, I feel this possibility is absolutely unnecessary. After all, if the production team takes all the blame for this matter, it will have a huge impact on the future development of the show. And a person as shrewd as the director, I'm afraid he absolutely wouldn't do that. So, we can just rule out this possibility."

Qin Mu analyzed for Fatty very calmly.

When Fatty heard Qin Mu say this, he naturally felt it made sense and nodded immediately.

After all, he also felt that the people on the director's team were all sharp as tacks, and they would absolutely not take all the blame for this matter upon themselves.

Besides, having caused such a huge mess, how could they possibly take all the blame upon themselves, and even go so far as to sacrifice their own interests to bear the relevant responsibilities for these trainees? That was absolutely impossible.

Immediately, Fatty looked at Qin Mu curiously; after all, he was still waiting for the second possibility from Qin Mu's mouth.

"The second possibility is to dismiss all these trainees. Although the stage looks calm and peaceful right now, what just happened is deeply imprinted in the minds of every audience member and our staff. And as you just said, everything that happened on stage was broadcast and reposted online, so the internet has a memory. If no one deliberately suppresses it, these videos will remain on the internet forever. And if they remain on the internet, it will be a lifelong stain for every trainee. Therefore, the director will absolutely not allow this stain to accompany the entire show until it ends. When the time comes, he will definitely make them announce their withdrawal from the competition themselves."

As soon as Qin Mu's second possibility came out, it made Fatty, who was beside him, gasp in surprise.

After all, no matter how Fatty thought about it, he hadn't expected that if this matter really happened, the director team's handling result would actually be like this.

Although the matter had not yet been finalized, when Fatty saw Qin Mu speaking so confidently, he naturally had some acknowledgment in his heart.

After all, this incident happened suddenly, and the impact was very bad. If the production team rashly took the whole thing upon themselves, they would face very big trouble.

Therefore, the best way to handle the whole thing now is to push all the responsibility onto the C-class trainees from just now and let them bear it themselves.

"Brother Qin, although that's what you say, why do you think those C-class trainees would take the initiative to withdraw from the competition? And I feel those trainees look high and mighty; they would definitely not ruin their own future for this matter, would they? Even if the director team gave them some benefits, they wouldn't announce their withdrawal from the competition for this, right?"

Fatty said to Qin Mu, somewhat uncomprehending.

When Qin Mu heard Fatty say this, he shook his head noncommittally.

"You've been in the production team for so many years, haven't you heard of the relevant contracts? Before every trainee comes here, they first sign a contract, and some of the clauses in this contract are to constrain these trainees to obey the production team's arrangements during the training period. And the C-class trainees this time committed such a mistake. It is precisely because they did not obey the production team's arrangements that they incurred the director's disgust. Therefore, the mistakes they made will not only not cause the director's side to be affected in any way, but will instead make them willingly announce their withdrawal from the competition."

Qin Mu said to Fatty very seriously.

When Fatty heard Qin Mu say this, he suddenly realized.

At the same time, every group of trainees on stage had finished their performances, and what remained was to wait for the host's announcement.

"Next, first let me announce some bad news to everyone: the C-class trainees have just decided to officially withdraw from the competition."
