Chapter 199

It was actually Liu Weiqiang!

Qin Mu looked at the middle-aged man in front of him in surprise.

This was a big director!

He had filmed dozens of movies, most of which were very classic.

Such as 'As Tears Go By', 'Young and Dangerous', 'The Storm Riders', 'Wesley's Mysterious File', etc. These well-known movies all came from his hands!

Especially that 'Infernal Affairs', which directly sparked a nationwide movie-watching craze and took the box office championship of that year in both Hong Kong and the mainland.

Besides that, 'Infernal Affairs' also won many international awards, letting foreigners see the power of our Chinese 'cop-and-robber films'.

Not only that, Liu Weiqiang's strength was absolutely recognized by countless people, and he had won awards like 'Best Director' and 'Best Film' until his hands were soft.

It could be said that Director Liu Weiqiang's status was about the same as Director Zhang Yimou's, just that the categories of films they shot were different.

"I've long admired your name!"

Qin Mu said seriously.

To be honest, he had watched half of the movies Liu Weiqiang had filmed when he was a child.

It could be said that this senior had enriched his childhood.

"Brother Qin, I'm the one who has long admired your name!"

"Running Man, your vlogs, and Qinqin's cover photos, I've seen them all."

"They are truly filmed well!"

Liu Weiqiang laughed and praised.

He started out as a photographer, so he was considered one of the best among directors when it came to knowing photography.

When Li Qin introduced 'Brother Qin' to him before, he went to check him out.

He didn't know until he looked, and he was shocked when he did!

Camera movement, screen control, angle selection, portrait depiction, etc.

It could absolutely be called first-class!

Most importantly, Qin Mu was still so young!

His future was unimaginable.

"Liu Laoshi, you flatter me."

Qin Mu said modestly.

As a senior in the industry, calling him Teacher was not an exaggeration.

"Alright..."

"Uncle Liu, tell me."

"Why did you ask me to bring Brother Qin here?"

Li Qin asked curiously.

She didn't know why Uncle Liu insisted on having her and Brother Qin come over at this time.

They had just finished dinner, and it was a good time for a 'date'!

*Cough, cough. *

Anyway, if Uncle Liu couldn't give a reason, he would be 'dealt with'!

"Hahaha."

"Then I won't beat around the bush."

Liu Weiqiang looked at Li Qin with a 'the elder is very satisfied' gaze, laughed, and said to Qin Mu: "Brother Qin, I invited you here this time because I actually want to invite you to do a shooting job."

A job?

Looking for me?

Hearing this, Qin Mu was stunned and said: "Liu Laoshi, please speak freely."

"It's like this."

Liu Weiqiang sat on the chair, picked up his teacup, took a sip, and said: "I'm currently filming a movie called 'The Captain', and Qinqin knows, she also has a role in it."

Beside him, Li Qin nodded.

'The Captain' started filming two months ago.

She had a good role in it; although it couldn't be called the female lead, it wasn't a minor supporting role either, after all, it was an ensemble cast.

Everyone's screen time was relatively equal.

Just a few days before the last recording of Running Man, her scenes were finished.

"Uncle Liu."

"Are you planning to ask Brother Qin to film a movie, but haven't you already filmed most of it!"

Li Qin pouted.

"The movie is almost finished."

"But I want to ask Brother Qin to help me film a promotional video."

"'The Captain' promotional video."

Liu Weiqiang smiled.

"Is Liu Laoshi planning to film a separate movie promotional video?"

Qin Mu pondered.

Generally speaking, there are two choices for movie promotional videos.

One is to cut out wonderful clips from the movie and splice them into a promotional video; the second is to film a separate one, making the promotional video more complete so that people won't be confused.

Of course, most directors now choose the first one because it's simple and direct, and doesn't cost more money.

However, there are still many big directors who use the second method.

Because they want to take the movie to various film festivals to compete and win awards, and at this time, the role of the promotional video is very important!

Besides that, some big-budget movies will specifically make a promotional video unrelated to the movie's plot to prevent spoilers.

For example, various superhero movies under Marvel Studios.

Every time before release, they will throw out a few promotional videos to hype up the popularity while keeping fans guessing about the movie's plot.

"Mm."

"It just depends on whether Brother Qin is interested."

Liu Weiqiang nodded.

'The Captain' was a work he had spent many years preparing; spending money to make an independent promotional video was not only to warm up the market but also to take it to major international film festivals to compete.

He attached great importance to this. **CHAPTER 201**
