Chapter 488

After a night of fun.

Qin Mu returned to the hotel, and not long after, he received a bank transfer notification.

A foreign exchange transfer of 5.8 million yuan.

This was transferred by Director Wan's company.

A total of one million US dollars, and after deducting taxes, this much remained.

Originally it was 800,000 US dollars.

However, because the effect was so good and the efficiency was high, an extra 200,000 US dollars was given.

5.8 million.

It could be considered the largest single income Qin Mu had received so far.

Not bad!

After chatting on the phone with Li Qin for a while, he fell into a deep sleep.

Early the next morning.

Qin Mu got up to pack his things, preparing to set off abroad.

At this time, Song Meina ran over hurriedly.

"Little Brother Qin, I just received an email from the crew of The Captain."

"Asking... asking if we are free today, and if we want to go to the Cannes Film Festival?"

Although she was panting, her face was full of excitement.

The Cannes Film Festival!

That's something that can be mentioned in the same breath as the Oscars!

As one of the largest and most important film festivals in the world, its grandeur is absolutely unimaginable!

And now, the director actually invited the boss to attend.

As a small assistant, she could also bask in the glory and experience such a grand gathering.

However, whether to go or not was up to the boss!

"Cannes?"

Qin Mu was stunned.

It seems it opens today, right?

It looks like The Captain must have entered the competition and passed through layers of selection.

In that case, the promotional video he filmed would be screened at the film festival.

This promotional reach is really quite large!

Thinking of this, Qin Mu raised the corners of his mouth and asked with a smile: "Are there any work arrangements for tomorrow or the day after?"

"No!"

"The nearest one is Star Detective, which starts in four days!"

Song Meina said hurriedly.

"Okay."

After Qin Mu pondered for a while, he said: "Then let's go!"

Such an important film festival, and his work will be screened.

Going to take a look would be quite fulfilling!

"Oh yeah!"

Song Meina jumped up happily, the smile on her pretty face was quite cute.

Milan is not far from Cannes, France.

It took a three-hour flight to arrive.

Just after getting off the plane, they were picked up by the crew of The Captain and taken to the hotel.

"Little Brother Qin, you're here!"

At the entrance, Andrew Lau welcomed him happily.

A few days ago, he heard that Qin Mu had gone to Milan, and as soon as his work ended, he hurriedly sent an email to invite him.

As for why he invited him.

Very simple!

Because being able to pass through layers of selection, the movie finally made it to the finals.

It has a lot to do with the promotional video Little Brother Qin filmed!

You have to know, when every judge scores a movie, they will watch the promotional video before watching the main film!

And the promotional video was filmed too well, with too much momentum, and the atmosphere and anticipation were created perfectly.

So much so that when the judges watched it, they were immediately drawn into the content atmosphere, and while empathizing, they gave high scores directly!

Therefore, it can definitely be said that Little Brother Qin provided immense help!

Behind Andrew Lau.

There were also Zhang Hanyu, Yuan Quan, and Du Jiang.

As the leads, they naturally had to attend on behalf of the actors.

As for the others, some were filming, and some had to rush to other engagements, so they couldn't come.

Very unfortunate!

"Director Lau."

"Brother Zhang, Brother Du, Sister Yuan."

Qin Mu greeted them with a smile.

Having eaten together before, they were relatively familiar with each other.

"Little Brother Qin, I heard you went to Milan; it must have been a lot of fun!"

Du Jiang said with envy.

Milan Fashion Week is no less of an existence in the fashion world than Cannes.

To attend, you have to be invited.

And he had always wanted to go see it once, but he couldn't get an invitation.

"It was just for work."

Qin Mu said with a smile.

Come to think of it, it's really magical.

Within a week, he had attended two major industry events.

To outsiders, this is truly enviable!

"Hahaha, Little Brother Qin is now a powerful and popular person."

"Maybe next time at the Oscars, Cannes, or Toronto, there will be Little Brother Qin's work!"

Andrew Lau said with a smile.

As a big director in the country, he naturally received a lot of inside information.

For example, Little Brother Qin is about to film Zhang Yimou's new movie, and it seems he will have cooperation with a big Hollywood director.

This is all aimed at box office, awards, and reputation!

"I said I didn't misjudge Little Brother Qin."

"The future is limitless!"

Zhang Hanyu laughed.

"Let's go, don't stand here talking."

"Let's go eat, and talk while we eat."

Du Jiang suggested.
