With the formation, it declares the end of the Years of Darkness and the start of the Year of Light. This is met with years of holy war in the East as the nation who followed Khors wished to destroy the Holy Seat once more, ultimately failing due to the strength of the Severian Empire and its allies.

- 207th year of light- The Kingdom of Ammar is formed.

-Rule of James ’The Founder’ 1st (207-239)

The legendary founder of the Kingdom. Much that surrounds him is more legend than truth and it is debated if he even existed due to poor record keeping. Only references to his name can be found in a few old documents, but it is still unknown if they are references to him or his son. The belief he did exist is simply due to his son being too old by the time of his death, nearing 100 if he was the founder.

-Rule of James 2nd (239-267)

James 2nd is believed to be the son of the Founder James 1st, yet a belief also exists that he may be the founding King due to the lack of knowledge of his father. Despite this, his rule saw the formation of many of the founding families of the Kingdom such as the Flanders, Godwin, and Argon House. The start of his rule was seen with relative calm as he quickly secured the borders to avoid invasion. Not much is known about his rule due to a lack of evidence.

-Rule of Henry 1st (267-289)

Henry’s rule saw the establishment of the Underwell family. Due to the lack of knowledge of its formation and origin, it was later believed they were an offshoot of the Lindonfall family as his brother had disappeared from public light soon before its formation.

-Rule of Henry 2nd (289-300)

A rule that saw relative peace and calm, this quickly changed in the later years of his rule due to having only fathered daughters. Many believed that Henry would pass the throne to his brother as a woman couldn’t take the throne. Despite this, in his last years, he prepared the conditions necessary for his daughter to take the throne. Being met with fierce opposition he reached out to his one true friend, Raymond Flanders, head of the Flanders house, and asked him to protect his daughter’s rule. He also gave liberties to the Underwell family in return for a sworn allegiance to his daughter and her children. Imprisoning his brother who would later die from unknown means was the last step he took. Henry would die a couple of years later.

-Rule of Isabel ’the Queen of Fire’ (300-310)

The first and only queen of the Kingdom. Despite being known as a kind and caring woman by the common people, she was hated by the nobility during her reign. Her rule nearly came to an end when the Palace caught fire, an incident that had numerous conspiracies surrounding it, permanently scarring her. Despite surviving the initial fire, she passed two years later from injuries related to it. The title of Queen of Fire began as a mocking title by her enemies but was transformed by the Lindonfall family into a symbol of unwavering dominance in their rule. Before the title of ’Queen of Fire’ came to be she was known as the ’Burnt Queen’.

-Rule of Owen ’the Pitiful’ 1st (310-350)

Taking the throne from his mother at a young age many assumed that his reign would see the end of the Lindonfall dynasty, but survived solely due to the support of the Flanders and Underwell house. The final condition which saved his rule was being forced into a marriage with the Argon family, something which Flanders disliked but saw as necessary. Despite this, his young age saw him used as a puppet for most of his rule.

-Rule of John 1st (350-374)

After his father’s death the nobility moved to use John as a puppet much like his father, but under his rule, moved to resolidify power back into the hands of the crown. Although a dangerous time and surviving numerous assassination attempts, he was able to reverse some of his father’s mistakes.

-Rule of Henry ’The Equaliser’ 3rd (374-401)

Carrying on his father’s legacy, he continued to reverse Owen’s 1st mistakes until he recreated the balance between the nobility and crown. His rule was shrouded in espionage as he deepened the influence of the Underwell family in the protection of the Royal family. It saw the true rise of the Underwell family which went on to become the true hounds of the Royal family and enforcer of their will. Using the palace fire as an excuse he rounded up many of the more overtly traitorous vassals and punished them for their ancestor’s crimes. In doing so he also changed the meaning of Isabel’s title from a symbol of mockery to a symbol of the Lindonfalls family’s dominance, no one daring to use it as a slight afterward.

-Rule of Owen 2nd (401-422)

With marriage to Godwin’s household, Owen’s rule saw the true start of the house’s rise as the main naval power in the Kingdom. Despite being a founding family of the kingdom, they lacked many rare materials that other houses had forcing them into a position where houses with lower ranks held more power. The effect of turning into a navel household carried over for generations who soon came to value their role on the sea greater than on land, forever reaffirming their place as a founding household and solidifying the founder’s legacy as a siren turned human.

-Rule of James 3rd (422-455)

James’ rule saw an even greater expansion of his mother’s household. To ensure a balance was kept between the noble families he married a daughter to the Flanders house and promised his heir to the Argon house.

-Rule of William ’The Unworthy’ (455-475)

A name shrouded in infamy and hate for the Lindonfall family, to the point it had become cursed as a name that would destroy the nation, William is regarded as the worst ruler to exist. A man who cared little for ruling and only the perks that his power brought, he delved into all forms of debauchery and pushed nearly all his responsibilities to his council and nobles. His rule saw the Kingdom lose a large amount of land as he forced others to fight his war for him. Despite everything, he kept power in the Royal family tight as it would have seen him lose his privileges if he had given it up, ensuring most of the work done by Henry ’The Equaliser’ wasn’t undone.

Due to his behaviors, many bastards came from his rule and no children with his official wife created a succession crisis. With his wife being a daughter of Argon it created friction between the royal family and the Argon house. It was during this time that the Flanders family earned the title of Shields of the Kingdom as they led the defense of the nation in place of William, saving it from complete collapse.

Had William not delved deep into his own personal desires it later became believed that he may have been able to solidify the Lindonfalls family power. This was the case due to the way he was able to keep control of his family’s power despite not ever truly ruling.

-Rule of Edmund ’The Brilliant’ (455-490)

The younger brother of William, his rule started with the kin slaying of his own brother with the assistance of the Underwell family. His actions only happened after seeing the rapid decline of the Kingdom in William’s last years as King and his twisted desires extending to the female members of his family. His ascension was followed by a swift purge of all William’s bastards to secure his rule. After taking the throne he led the campaign to defend the Kingdom, reclaiming the land that had been lost and in turn, gaining new ones. Due to the lengths he went to to erase his brother’s reign, many nobles feared going against him and quickly rallied behind him making it possible.

With the Kingdom secured from threats, he started a massive program to repair his nation, emptying the already low Royal coffers. He took massive loans from the crystal bank to help and not wishing to plunge his kingdom into debt, swiftly seized numerous mines from nobles who wished to return to the time of William’s rule when they were in charge. It saw the end of many houses, but realizing his actions ultimately were for the Kingdom’s survival, the nobles who were not targeted turned a blind eye as long as their power was not touched. Taking his brother’s widow as his wife he restored relations with Argon house. He would later marry his son off to the Flander house ensuring they were rewarded for their role in protecting the Kingdom during his brother’s reign.

His rule had been covered up to look less brutal and he was symbolized as a savior rather than a tyrant. No future King dared to name a child after him, reinforcing the mystical nature of his rule.

-Rule of Harold 1st (490-515)

The rule of his father saw Harold have an easy succession to the throne. The common people supported him for his father’s role in defeating the invading forces whilst the nobles feared his alliance with the Argon and Flanders house. Many believed he would have continued his father’s way of rule, but Harold eased off, keeping the perfect balance between the nobles and crown. It was believed that he had to for the continued support of the Argon House’s support who still felt bitter about William’s slight of their family.

-Rule of Robert (515-532)

A man who greatly increased the trade routes of the Kingdom, he saw a massive increase in the wealth the Kingdom had and made it possible to pay off any remaining debt to the Crystal Bank. It was believed that these new trade routes indirectly led to the spread of the plague in the Kingdom. On his deathbed, he begged for forgiveness from his son for trying to kill him at birth, something which he was granted.

-Rule of Harold ’The Tall’ 2nd (532-567)

A man who at birth was nearly killed for his birth defect, Harold in the future became known as a savior. Born with gigantism he was labeled as a cursed child and nearly killed at the moment of his birth, only saved by his mother who threatened to kill herself if Harold was killed. Due to this, he became overtly protective of his mother who would later die during the outbreak of disease.

During his rule, a great plague struck the realm that saw thousands die within the first month. Harold took an active role in preventing its spread and mobilized the entire wealth and support of the Royal Family. In a desperate attempt to end it after his mother died, he reached out to the Bactrian Empire, a move at the time that was controversial due to following a heretical faith. The single move was vital in saving the Kingdom as they had taught of the numerous ways to help fight the disease having suffered it before. It was unknown how dangerous it would have been without Harold’s actions but knowing the amount of damage it had caused in the Bactrian Empire and its surrounding nations, it was believed that it could have seen half the Kingdom’s population die if left to spread.

Despite the actions taken, the Kingdom’s losses were great and it took nearly 100 years to recover. By the end of his rule, he suffered from extreme joint pain from his condition. Myth surrounded him in the years to come as he was described as a towering giant who could crush men’s skulls with one hand, whereas in reality, he was a lanky man who didn’t put on muscle due to the pain it brought him when he did. His death caused the largest funeral in the kingdom’s history as many flocked from all around its land to say their goodbyes.

-Rule of Henry ’The Kind’ 4th (567-590)

A man who followed in his father’s footsteps to help the people, he strived to improve his nation. Due to his personality, he was a weak ruler who struggled to deal with the nobles. The start of his rule saw the formation of a new nation that opposed Sol. Despite this, he made no moves to counter the new threat, not wishing to start a war after so many had died during the plague. His rule saw the rise of the Raven family, who secured their place in the central lands of the Kingdom after the death of numerous noble households.

-Formation of Safrid Sultanate (555)

With Ahemd’s ’the Great Liberator’ conquest, he established a new nation north of the Kingdom’s borders.

-Rule of Peter ’The Holy’ 1st (590-617)

With the formation of the Sultanate, it saw Peter’s rule have an increased presence of the Church in his lands. His title was given by the church for his actions in allowing their increased presence and role, but many saw it as a sign of weakness for him giving up power to the church. The assassination of his second son forced him to action against the Sultanate and in turn try to take back power from the church, something he struggled to do.

-Rule of Owen 3rd (617-642)

Continuing the process of his father to strip power from the church that had been given to them, he was eventually forced into war with the Safrid’s. The war saw no change in borders and after peace was signed between the two nations, border conflicts continued but never delved into all-out war. His failures in taking back all the power his father gave away were forever a stain on his rule.

-Unification of the Twin Kingdoms through marriage to form the Livonik Commonwealth (652)

With the marriage of the two monarchs of the Twin Kingdoms, the two houses merged into one and took a new name, Sobieski; the name of a legendary warrior from the Lost Era.

-Rule of John 2nd (642-676)

With the formation of the Commonwealth, it was believed that John’s rule would be met with intense struggles, dealing with his enemy to the north and a new powerhouse to the east. Despite this due to the problems that arose from the unification of the twin Kingdoms, his rule didn’t experience the tragedy that was predicted.

-Rule of Peter 2nd (676-705)

A man who struggled to sire an heir, it was always believed that his brother would take over after him. An unexpected pregnancy changed this. Many rumors surrounded the pregnancy, the main one being he was a bastard of someone else, yet none were ever proven true. He would soon die after his son’s birth, leaving the young prince to inherit the throne. His inability to sire an heir was later believed to be a defect brought about by inbreeding.

-Rule of James ’The Young’ 4th (705-710)

Due to the untimely death of his father, James took the throne as a child. It was believed that he would end up like Owen ’The pitiful’ but an untimely death ended his rule and his uncle took the throne.

In the future two main theories surfaced. Either James was Peter’s son and died due to complications from years of inbreeding, or his uncle assassinated him. It was something that could never be proven.

-Rule of Richard ’The Lucky’ (710-748)

With the death of his nephew, Richard took the throne. Many suspected his involvement in it, but without proof, nothing was done. Many called him lucky for the events that led to him taking the throne, trying to distance him away from the murder of a child. This rumor always followed his rule, but his supporters made sure to suppress it.

-Fall of the Silesian Empire (723)

In the later years of his life, due to poor management and weak rule, Emporer Boris 3rd saw his realm plunged into a succession crisis as his three sons all laid claim to the throne. The four-year war saw the realm fractured into three and a white peace being signed due to a fear of an outside party seizing the lands. Despite the years that had passed the dream of reforming the great Empire still exists in the minds of each Grand Prince.

-Rule of Alfred 1st (748-760)

Taking the throne from his father, many believed Alfred would enjoy a long rule. Despite the initial good relationship with his brother Micheal, it quickly deteriorated with the birth of a son who saw his wife’s death. It led to many rumors believing that the two were lovers, but they were never confirmed. With his wife’s death, Alfred became very protective of his son, hiding him away from the public. Rumors spread around the Palace of the evil child the King had sired and had caused many to question the Kingdom’s future. Micheal after meeting the child Alfred fanned the flames of these rumors, believing him to be a monster.

-Rule of Alfred 2nd ’Blessed One’ (760- Present)
",2906,"2026-06-03T11:17:48.775Z","2026-06-03T11:17:51.400Z",1,"novelbin.me","6c10bfd50929b6f74e29875508ce6af00d4e153790ac32137785e49df9f60f23","the-reborn-king-chapter-162","the-reborn-king-chapter-160",487,"https://novelzhen.com/images/covers/the-reborn-king-cover.jpg"]
