Wanting to improve her mood, she focused completely on the battle in front her sword cutting through the first defender. With a slash of blood on her face she smiled crazily and threw herself in the fray, Ketil following from behind to protect.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Ralph watched her with a twitching lip wondering where Helga got the courage to jump in headfirst to the battle. Staying back he attacked those that came to him, but never over committed to the melee like those around him.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"KETIL!\" Helga called out as she blocked an attack with her sword, pushing her into the ground. The berserker looked behind him and hit the attacker in the face with the hilt of his axe, creating a fountain of blood as Helga kicked him off and executed him. \"HOW MANY REMAIN?\" Helga shouted once more cutting another down as Ketil looked over the swarm of people.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"A FEW! 30, 50. I DON’T KNOW!\" He swung his large axe in a massive arch forcing everyone back, those unlucky enough to be caught dying. Helga clicked her tongue at his answer as she wanted the battle to end soon. The defense was better than she expected it to be.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"MY PEOPLE!\" Helga’s voice called out. Everyone listened as they continued to fight, her voice being drowned out by screams and cries of pain. \"THE GODS ARE BECOMING ANGRY AT YOUR DISPLAY! THEY BELIEVE YOU DO NOT WISH TO FIGHT! PROVE THEM WRONG! THROW YOUR LIVES TO THE BATTLE!\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Her words were lathered in arrogance as she increased her own tempo, skillfully dodging attacks and countering, her sword being dyed with each swing. She smiled at the ease of her battle, knowing it was because of the large berserker behind, protecting her from any stray attacks. Ketil protecting her the entire battle did strip a massive fighting power, but she didn’t care. What was more important than protecting her?\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>From around people heard Helga’s shout and saw her own increase in tempo and frowned at their own weakness putting more effort into it. The defenders unanimously clicked their youngest as they felt themselves pushed back, more dying each time. Strange was the only word he could think of as he saw the people of the village they were assaulting separated.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"What’s going on?\" His curiosity got the better of him and he approached one of the more approachable members of Helga’s camp and asked. The man looked down at Ralph and frowned.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"The herding.\" He said in a grim voice looking at it. His answer only confused him more and the man sighed.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"They call it the separation of the faithful but its a herding.\" Going quite he pointed at the group led to a large warehouse as the tip of swords. \"Those are the unfaithful. They can’t be allowed to exist. Those are the faithful. They will be sent back home to do something.\" He said in an oblivious tone not wishing to know what was going on.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Ralph could see that the man didn’t like whatever was happening, so he chose to stand by him and watch. In sight, he saw Helga walk over with a dagger in her hands. Ketil stood behind her holding someone by the shoulders with a friendly smile.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Put them before me,\" Helga spoke out indicating to five who were being dragged to the warehouse. With them kicked to their knees and held in place Helga turned to Finn and flipped the dagger.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"You are Ivar’s right hand. And I would never doubt my loyal followers. But\" Her voice went cold, \"I have heard some unsavory things about you. In turn about Ivar.\" Flipping the dagger she handed it to Finn who looked at it with shaking eyes. \"Please. Begin.\" Helga stood to the side and gestured to the five kneeling people.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Finn took a step closer his heart beating. They were not soldiers but women, all young trying to cry out but unable due to the sheer fear they were experiencing. Finn remembered Ivar’s warning. Just do what you were told. Finn thought about it but as he brought the blade to the woman’s throat he looked down into her eyes.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The extreme terror she was feeling spoke to him as he pulled the dagger back.Forgive me, brother.’It was all he could say as he took a deep breath and looked at Helga with sharp eyes.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"No.\" He said it with a power unexpected to him as he clutched the dagger in his hand. Helga looked at him confused.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"What do you mean no? I gave you an order.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"I’m not doing it!\" Finn spoke louder as he looked around pointing at it all. \"This is wrong. You are herding people like cattle and executing them. Your insane you delusional bitch.\" The words he had been holding back finally spilled out as he was breathing heavily. He realized what he had done only after he spoke and chuckled at his inevitable death. Despite that, he felt free as if a weight was finally off his chest.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Helga’s fists curled in anger as she looked at Finn’s frosty eyes. \"What did you say?\" There was a crooked smile on her face as she looked at him. The purer rage emanating from her body seemed to warp the air as everyone instinctively took a step back.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Finn looked at her and laughed. He was already a dead man. He didn’t care anymore. Looking at the people around him he hoped at least this would bring out those who felt the way he did. \"You are not a God,\" Finn said casually. \"You are not a Queen. You are evil. A criminal who uses their lands for nothing but your enjoyment. If the God are anything like you, then I renounce them all.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Finn said proudly as he looked down at Helga. Her lips curled wider and she burst into laughter. Walking forward she pulled her sword. \"I pity your foolishness.\" She said mockingly. \"I am the only God on this land. And you will understand in your death.\" Helga swung her sword down and Finn narrowly dodged throwing out an attack with the dagger towards her chest.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Quickly reacting she moved right the dagger piercing through her shoulder. as she stumbled back. Everyone went silent as they watched the fight and Ketil ran over, pushing Helga back and toppling Finn with his axe. Lifting it up to swing down on him a hand on his shoulder stopped him.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Helga stood over Finn, the dagger in her shoulder looking at him. Looking at the wound a smile full of ecstasy formed. Yet her eyes went cold looking at Finn. \"DId Ivar set you up for this? Take my place whilst I’m gone and then kill me.\" Before Finn could speak, Ketil pushed him down ever so slightly so he couldn’t, going unnoticed by Helga.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Her smile dropped as she breathed heavily. \"No.\" It was almost as if she was trying to tell herself. \"No, no, no, no. That can’t be. He wouldn’t betray me.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>’But he would.’A voice spoke in the back of her head as she felt her spine go cold. Grabbing her head panic spread in her eyes as everyone watched. \"hahahaha.\" A quiet nervous laugh escaped her mouth as fingers dug deeper into her hair. \"Everyone betrays me. Mother did. Father did. The king did. EVERYONE BETRAYS ME!\" Her last words came out as a scream as she madly looked down at Finn before shifting to the warehouse and kneeling people.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"I just need to show I am a God. yes.\" She was talking to herself as she grabbed a torch from near by. The warehouse was already prepared and she threw the torch on it, the screams inside soon began. Going to those who knelt she pulled the dagger pout of her shoulder, not a grimace of pain showing as Helga lost herself in her delusions. \"Everyone betrays me. Why are mortals like this? They should worship me.\" She cut the throat of the first woman making the rest cry out as Helga moved on.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"They should all follow me.\" She cut the second. \"They should kiss the ground I walk on.\" She cut a third. \"Are they jealous?\" She cut the fourth. \"Yes, it must be. they want to be me.\" She cut the fifth.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Standing over Finn. She looked at him and saw Ivar’s face overlap. His cunning smile looked up at her as he mouthed the words’I win.’\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"My children,\" Helga said to herself as she froze. \"They are meant to bring my new age.\" Helga’s breathing became erratic. \"He’s trying to end my Godhood.\" Helga grabbed Finn’s hair and held him up. He looked into Helga’s crazed eyes and smirked seeing her for what she truly was.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Infuriated she cut his throat not even asking a question. Standing up she looked around at everyone watching her. Many still held their worship but many just looked at her with hate or pity. She wanted to scream at them but stopped herself in her final moments.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"We must return home.
