I delayed launching the book for a year, truly keeping everyone waiting too long or2

But in reality, this book was first conceived in April last year, and I began writing the opening in June; after eight months of work, I finally found my rhythm and published it.

A Guan also wanted to release it sooner, but years of overwork left me drained—after turning thirty, my mind isn’t what it used to be. I’d write over ten thousand words a day, then delete eight thousand, repeating this cycle endlessly, rewriting the opening dozens of times; the discarded text likely totals a million words.

I thought no one would still be reading after such a long wait, yet I never imagined so many friends would come to support me.

My gratitude is beyond words; A Guan will add an extra chapter.

A Guan always writes as much as he can, but he can’t produce much readable plot each day. In four days since launch, he wrote four chapters and updated thirteen; at this pace, his backup stash won’t last a week. Updating six to seven thousand words daily is already his absolute limit or2!
