I originally wanted to ask for one day off, but after writing part of the detailed outline today, I realized that finishing the outline would require another day of updates, leaving no time, so I'm asking for two days off; updates will resume Thursday morning or 2!

The content of the first three volumes is, strictly speaking, one single volume, but it was split into three parts; starting from the second chapter of the book when the protagonist encounters the three minions collecting Dragon Beard Grass, it continues until He Tianqi flees south, and while I wouldn't dare say every plot point is tightly interlocked, all characters indeed revolve around this thread.

This thread does not end here; the first three volumes are merely the prologue to the entire book, depicting part of the Southern Dynasty's strategic layout planned throughout the novel and introducing the appearances of some key characters.

The main outline of this book is quite complete; the ending was already hinted at in the first chapter, but before Aguan started the book, no matter how strong his mental capacity, he could only plot out seven or eight hundred thousand words of plot, and beyond that, he only knew the general direction.

By the time Sanjiangkou was finished, all previous preparations were exhausted; how to construct the subsequent plot had not even begun to be considered, so writing felt like walking on thin ice, daring not to put pen to paper recklessly, forcing a two-day break to finish the detailed outline before resuming writing.

Although Aguan only started the book in February, he began preparing for the new novel last June; the discarded drafts edited and revised before launch, while not reaching a million words, certainly totaled seven or eight hundred thousand; to maintain updates, he also prepared three hundred thousand words of stored drafts, but those drafts ran out before April, leaving everything to be written in real-time; if the flow is smooth, it's fine, but if not, rewriting inevitably causes time shortages, leading to somewhat unstable update times.

But Aguan is indeed updating with all his might or 2!

Aguan does not possess the supreme talent to write masterpieces with a single stroke of the pen; his plot conception is incredibly slow, and his life experience is shallow; only after writing four million words did he finally understand how to enter the web novel field, and only after finishing "The Heir" and "Nangong Xianzi" did he understand how to write to achieve results; even now, he is truly just half-full, feeling his way across the river stone by stone.

To write satisfactorily, Aguan can only rely on grinding with time, writing from the moment he wakes up until he sleeps, managing to go out for a one-hour walk only every few days; even prisoners on yard time have more freedom than Aguan, yet even with this, he cannot match the plots written by talented masters who write for three or four hours daily.

In six years, Aguan wrote fifteen million words, and only now has he realized that explosive updates cannot fundamentally change a book's performance; if the writing is poor, writing ten thousand words daily only provides temporary satisfaction, and before the conclusion, half the readers will leave, something Aguan has already experienced once; if the book is well-written, even annual updates remain masterpieces; readers may scold during updates but still read after completion; slow updates deserve criticism, but as long as the ending isn't botched and the book isn't abandoned, readers will at most wait for the book, not abandon it entirely; focusing solely on explosive updates to retain readers while neglecting quality will only backfire.

However, Aguan is still striving to write well while trying to produce as much as possible; occasional instability or requests for leave are spent thinking about how to write; hope the masters can understand or 2!
