Chapter 1008

Liu Yongjun said, "Mayor, you are really dedicated."

Su Xinghui said, "You say I'm dedicated, why did you come so early yourself?"

Liu Yongjun touched his head embarrassedly, "I'm used to it."

Su Xinghui nodded and said, "Alright, I'll put the bag away first, and then come down."

Su Xinghui went upstairs, entered his dormitory, put down his bag, and fetched a basin of water to clean up the dormitory that had not been lived in for a long time. He took the rolled-up bedding to the courtyard to dry. This bedding hadn't been slept in for so long, so it would be damp if it wasn't dried.

Su Xinghui came out with the bedding. Liu Yongjun had finished sweeping the floor. He hurriedly came up to help Su Xinghui, helped him pull the clothesline in the backyard, and put the bedding on the rope.

Su Xinghui asked, "Yongjun, how did your family spend this New Year?"

Liu Yongjun nodded and said, "It was good. The town distributed 1,000 yuan for the New Year, and the family's vegetables sold quite well. The whole family was happy."

Su Xinghui said, "That's good. Then what about other families?"

Liu Yongjun said, "Every family lived quite well this year. Basically, every family planted vegetables. There was no shortage of money to spend during the New Year this year. They spent a prosperous New Year, lively. This year, our village also organized a dragon lantern team, and there were colorful dragon boats playing on the street. It hasn't been this lively for many years."

Listening to Liu Yongjun's words, Su Xinghui was very gratified. Isn't this what he wanted?

At eight o'clock, Comrade Comrade Comrade Qi Jian came. He saw Su Xinghui drying the bedding in the backyard. He asked, "Mayor, why did you come so early?"

Su Xinghui said, "There's nothing to do, so I came early to understand the situation in the town. I haven't been here for a long time."

Comrade Comrade Comrade Qi Jian said, "This bedding needs to be dried. I also have to take the bedding down to dry."

Su Xinghui followed Comrade Comrade Comrade Qi Jian upstairs, helped him carry the bedding down, and dried it on the clothesline in the backyard. The backyard of the Town Government is large, and several clotheslines were set up, which was enough to use.

The two talked while drying the bedding.

Comrade Comrade Comrade Qi Jian said, "Mayor, it seems that work is very busy after the New Year. The wholesale market project needs to be restarted, the vegetable sales matter cannot be left behind, the Hou family's electrical appliance factory is building a factory building, the Changjiangdaqiao project work needs to be carried out, and the survey of the expressway is also about to start. I heard that the new county magistrate is also going to the county to take office. I guess the county will also hold a welcome meeting."
