Chapter 1049

Tian Xiaopeng was a bit helpless about Pan Yongchun's style, but he obviously couldn't say anything. He had to nod and say: "Okay, I've heard of Dahongpao for a long time, but haven't drunk it yet. Let's taste it today."

Pan Yongchun said: "It's okay, I have several more bags in the car. I'll have someone bring you two bags later."

The cadres of Pengjiawanzhen were all dumbfounded by Pan Yongchun's style. They watched with their own eyes as Pan Yongchun's assistant performed a whole set of procedures: cleaning the tea set, boiling water, washing the tea, and brewing the tea. Such things really exceeded their imagination.

Su Xinghui was not surprised. He had dealt with bosses from Mindong in his previous life, and he knew that people there were addicted to drinking Kung Fu tea. Although no one carried such a whole set of tea sets with them when they went out, he had still drunk it several times at the other party's place.

Therefore, he was not in a hurry, and he watched the other party brew tea in a leisurely manner.

The tea was brewed. Pan Yongchun's assistant first served him a cup, then poured a cup for Tian Xiaopeng, and then for Su Xinghui, Yang Huakai, Tong Yuejin, and others. However, this set of tea sets only had six teacups, so the people behind could only watch.

Tong Yuejin held that cup of tea and blurted out: "Such a small cup, how unrefreshing is it to drink?"

The teacup for Kung Fu tea is indeed very small, emphasizing small cups and slow drinking. However, Tong Yuejin had never drunk Kung Fu tea, so naturally he didn't understand this point. In his view, this cup is not bad for drinking wine, but it is too small for drinking tea.

Tong Yuejin's words caused a sneer from Pan Yongchun's subordinates. Tong Yuejin probably said something wrong, and his face was red. He looked at the appearance of others, drank that cup of tea in a few mouthfuls, and put the teacup on the table.

Tian Xiaopeng said: "President Pan's tea is indeed good, worthy of being top-grade Dahongpao!"

Pan Yongchun said: "If County Magistrate Tian likes it, drink a few more cups."

Tian Xiaopeng said: "Tea should be drunk slowly. Let's talk about the serious business."

Pan Yongchun nodded and said: "Okay, then let's talk about the serious business. Mayor Su, we need about 2,000 mu of land to run this steel mill. I hope Pengjiawanzhen can provide a bit more preferential policies. Please, Mayor Su, tell us what preferential policies you can provide, such as how many years of tax exemption, and how much the land price can be discounted."

Su Xinghui said slowly: "President Pan, don't be in a hurry. As long as it is in accordance with our regulations and can meet the various standards of foreign investment enterprises, we will definitely give the preferential policies that should be given. However, please show us your various relevant materials, President Pan."

"Materials?" Pan Yongchun looked stunned: "What materials?"

Su Xinghui was also amused: "President Pan, you want to invest here with us, didn't you prepare any materials? For example, project feasibility study reports, various application forms, environmental impact assessment reports, and so on."

Pan Yongchun let his assistant light a cigar for him again, took a puff, and blew a smoke ring: "What are those materials for? As long as we have chosen the location and you have agreed to our preferential policies, I will immediately transfer the 300 million RMB. Materials are just word games, what is the use?"

Su Xinghui was both angry and amused after hearing this, but what Pan Yongchun said was not unreasonable. Now local officials see investors as if they see their parents, and they are as respectful as they can be.

For an investor like Pan Yongchun who invests 300 million in a single transaction, what do materials count for? The local government can completely send special personnel to help them prepare various materials, as long as their investment is in place.
