Chapter 1100

Even if the compensation was given according to the highest standard, the average per mu was only 10,000-plus yuan, and 20 mu was only 300,000-plus. For Zhang Yunhui, it was nothing.

Zhang Yunhui had already shown great sincerity, but these few families opened their mouths like lions, and they offered a sky-high price of 50,000 yuan per mu, a fixed price, no bargaining.

If it were 50,000 yuan per mu, Zhang Yunhui would have to pay a high price of 1 million. His factory only invested 5 million in total, and he paid one-fifth on land acquisition. Then how could he operate?

Zhang Yunhui certainly didn't agree, and those families just bit the bullet and didn't loosen their mouths. The matter suddenly became deadlocked, so Zhang Yunhui found Tong Yuejin, because Tong Yuejin was the town leader arranged by the Pengjiawanzhen Government to contact Zhang Yunhui.

There were quite a few investors who came to Pengjiawanzhen this time. Su Xinghui didn't have so much time or energy to contact each one. Therefore, every leader in the town was assigned a few investors, and Tong Yuejin was no exception.

Although Su Xinghui really disliked Tong Yuejin and didn't want to arrange any work for him, there were too many affairs in the town now, and Tong Yuejin was nominally still a deputy town mayor in charge of the economy, so he could only let him contact a few investors.

Tong Yuejin promised to help Zhang Yunhui solve this problem. He went to Yangwan Village that day, but after he came back, he told Zhang Yunhui that it was no problem to solve this problem, but some funds were needed.

Zhang Yunhui then asked Tong Yuejin how much funds were needed. Zhang Yunhui was not surprised by this kind of thing. When he did business before, he often used this method to pave the way for himself.

Tong Yuejin then said 30,000. Zhang Yunhui didn't consider it for long and agreed, directly giving Tong Yuejin 30,000 in cash. For Zhang Yunhui, spending 30,000 to settle this matter was not a bad deal. He thought Tong Yuejin's asking price was not high.

But who would have thought that a few days later, Tong Yuejin told Zhang Yunhui that 30,000 yuan was not enough and asked Zhang Yunhui to give another 50,000, saying that those people were too greedy.

This time Zhang Yunhui was not so quick. It didn't matter to pay another 50,000 yuan; he could afford it. But he felt uncomfortable in his heart, and he also deeply suspected that if he gave Tong Yuejin another 50,000 yuan, next time Tong Yuejin might ask him for 100,000.

He now only regretted that he gave Tong Yuejin 30,000 so quickly at that time. If he had hesitated for a few days before giving it to Tong Yuejin, he might not have done so.

Zhang Yunhui had seen many such greedy cadres, but he didn't expect Tong Yuejin to be so shameless, taking money without doing things.

Zhang Yunhui didn't want to throw money into a bottomless pit. He demanded that Tong Yuejin return the money to him at that time. He didn't want to invest in Yangwan Village anymore; he wanted to change to another place to invest.

But Tong Yuejin said that the 30,000 yuan had already been used up to help Zhang Yunhui clear the way, so it couldn't be returned.

Zhang Yunhui was very angry. He asked Tong Yuejin why he took the money without doing things. He said that if Tong Yuejin didn't return the money to him, he would report Tong Yuejin. But Tong Yuejin arrogantly said that if you report me, you won't be better off yourself. You are also bribing, and bribing is also a crime.

Tong Yuejin's words scared Zhang Yunhui. He really didn't know if bribing was also a crime. Moreover, this was not Guangdong, this was Hudong. Tong Yuejin was a local snake. Did he, an investor from another place, dare to report him?

Moreover, he also worried about his 5 million investment. If it were invested in Pengjiawanzhen, with a leader like Tong Yuejin, one day this 5 million would be swallowed by him, and there would be nowhere to reason.

Therefore, Zhang Yunhui began to have the idea of withdrawing his investment. The tens of thousands of yuan that had already been spent, let it be spent, just treat it as spending money to buy a lesson. The 5 million could not be thrown into the water.

Therefore, Zhang Yunhui came to find Su Xinghui today. He came in the morning, but Su Xinghui went out and didn't return. He waited here all the time. After Su Xinghui returned and finished his meal, when he returned to his dormitory alone, he went upstairs and knocked on the door.

After hearing Zhang Yunhui finish, Su Xinghui was already furious. He slapped the desk hard, and a loud noise scared Zhang Yunhui, making him shiver. The teacup he was holding fell to the ground and shattered into pieces.

Zhang Yunhui hurriedly reached out to pick up the broken porcelain pieces on the ground. Su Xinghui said, "General Manager Zhang, don't pick it up, I'll sweep it."

Su Xinghui took a broom, swept the broken porcelain pieces into the corner of the wall, and sat down again, "General Manager Zhang, I didn't lose my temper at you, I am too angry at Town Mayor Tong!"

Su Xinghui was indeed very angry. This dog-day Tong Yuejin was completely a mouse dropping that ruined a pot of porridge. If Zhang Yunhui's matter spread out, if it wasn't handled well, it might cause a wave of capital withdrawal, and then all his previous efforts would be wasted.

Su Xinghui hadn't gotten Tong Yuejin down because he didn't want others to say he was taking revenge for personal reasons, forming cliques, and excluding others. Anyway, he had never given Tong Yuejin a chance to be corrupt. Even for things like reimbursing invoices, Su Xinghui signed them himself. When he was not in the town, he let Qi Jian sign them.

I didn't expect that as soon as I handed a specific task to Tong Yuejin, he immediately made such a thing. This is probably because he had been suffocated for too long.

Zhang Yunhui hurriedly nodded, "I know, I know, Town Mayor Su."

Su Xinghui said, "General Manager Zhang, are all the things you said today true?"

Zhang Yunhui said, "Every word is true."

Su Xinghui said, "That's good. Don't worry. If this matter is true, we will definitely deal with Tong Yuejin seriously and ensure that similar things will not happen again in the future. As for the land acquisition, the town will also help you solve it."

Zhang Yunhui said, "Then will I be responsible for bribing?"
