Chapter 1194: Reclaiming Dreams

After sitting for a while and drinking a cup of tea, Su Xinghui said, "Secretary Dong, let's go down and walk around to see those fruit trees that have borne fruit."

Dong Jianshu said, "Okay, I'll accompany you."

Li Maofa and others also said, "We will also accompany you."

Su Xinghui quickly said, "No need, Secretary Dong, Township Head Li, I am not a guest, you don't need to accompany me, I will drive there myself."

Dong Jianshu smiled, "It's okay, we also take this opportunity to go down to the village to play."

Hearing Dong Jianshu say this, Su Xinghui let them go. He went out and started the vehicle. Su Wenjun, Guo Suhua, and Lu Xiaoya got in the car. Dong Jianshu, Li Maofa, and Yang Xinrong got in the jeep of Meng Hu Ling Township. Dong Jianshu said to Wan Xing'an, "Little Wan, you book a table at Zhang Pangzi's place at noon, I will treat Xinghui and his family to dinner."

Wan Xing'an nodded and agreed.

Two cars set off. The jeep led the way in front, and they drove to Hujia'ao. This is a village with more fruit trees in Meng Hu Ling Township.

The car drove to Hujia'ao, and they saw all kinds of fruit trees on the mountains on both sides of the road. Some fruit trees had already borne fruit, and some fruit trees had not yet reached the time to bear fruit because they had not reached three years. However, the shortest fruit trees were more than one person tall. It looked like they would be able to bear fruit in at most one year.

The car drove to Hujia'ao Village and stopped at the gate of the village committee. Dong Jianshu got out of the car, and his loud voice shouted, "Hu Chengwen, come out quickly, look who is here?"

Hu Chengwen came out of the village committee. Seeing Su Xinghui get out of the car, he shouted happily, "Township Head Su, you are here!"

Hu Chengwen, like Lu Dawang, still called Su Xinghui's old position. No matter where Su Xinghui is the town head, they still regard Su Xinghui as their township head. Such a title makes Su Xinghui feel very kind.

Su Xinghui smiled, "Director Hu, how are you! I heard that your fruit trees here have borne fruit, so I brought my family to taste your new fruit. You won't be unwelcome, right?"

Hu Chengwen laughed loudly, "Township Head Su is joking, how could we be unwelcome? You are a distinguished guest who can't be invited. If the villagers know you are here, they will definitely be so happy that they will jump three feet high!"

Dong Jianshu smiled, "Hu Chengwen, you told me last time to invite Town Head Su, I have invited him for you!"

Hu Chengwen said, "Thank you, Secretary Dong. Go, Township Head Su, should we go to my house to taste the fruit, or go to the mountain to pick it?"

Su Xinghui said, "Let's go to the mountain to pick it. I also want to take a good look at your fruit trees here."

Hu Chengwen nodded, "Okay, then I will take you to the mountain." ===== CHAPTER 1196 =====
